I can say that I'm extremely disappointed in the changes to Lowes Military discount program. I have used many times and Lowes was a preference over Home Depot. I just want to buy a Stove, Refrig, and Microwave and I was okay that I would only get 5% now but when it was rang up the total discount was $4.00 on a $2,800 plus bill. The reason given was that because it was on sale it was below and amount eligible (LPM). Never had this problem in the past. Getting ready to buy my son all new kitchen appliances and will unfortunately be shopping at Home Depot now for best price. Lots of vets not happy with Lowes right now. Jim

Yet another vet whining about their discount. Just love that you are going to run to Home Depot, but before you do you might want to read their discount as well.

You are offered a 10% discount on regular priced items. This means that if the appliances are on sale you won't get a discount there either.

And perhaps I have thought about that. That’s why I go to Lowe’s at different times of the day but the result is always the same....

slow to non existent customer service.

I have been shopping there for years at all different times and the result is always the same. At some point the determination has to be made that maybe their customer service could use a little bit more attention to detail.

Don't lie to me and tell me my order is ready to be picked up and then when I get there tell me it hasn't even been shipped yet. Employees being deceitful and lying to customers is never a good idea if you want to stay in business. Very lame.

We were trying to find a refrigerator at your Republic store in Missouri, when one of your employees named Lonnie came to our aid and told us how we could get the color that we wanted on line, and how to get it. He was very helpful and very courteous. He gave us a home town store feeling that you don't get very often these days. Just wanted you guys to know how thoughtful and pleasant he was. Rudest customer service ever! Burleson Lowe's staff is absolutely incompetent. It wasn't the first time I had problems with them. Who do they think they are? Very condescending, and absolutely no help at all. It seems like the left hand has no clue what the right hand is doing. I just cancelled my order and shop at Home Depot.

I purchased my Frigidaire refrigerator June 29 2019 and a service plan. The fridge is freezing my produce and food. I called and was told I have to contact the manufacturer for the first year! And spoiled food does not apply to freezing only if it stops working !!! WTH Also never appeared on my Lowes account as a purchase, and was told by in store team to contact the warranty team. When I did I get a message open mom- Friday. Call again... Call customer service and they said call Frigidaire! What a run around and I have frozen produce !

Take the time to understand what you are buying. Appliances have a manufacturers warranty.

Many stores and even the manufacturers will offer an extended service plan for sale that will begin when the manufacturers warranty ends and not before. They are correct in telling you to contact the manufacturer as their plan hasn't gone into effect yet.

Lowes - I am a us veteran. I have three ID’s. Why must I be registered. Once again Lowe’s contradicts their verbal policy. Shame on corporate. They happen to be in my home town. Word of mouth is like-

They aren't required to give you any discount at all. They are kind enough to offer a discount in exchange for following their policy.

If you don't like it shop elsewhere or make a purchase without the discount.

No one is forcing the discount on you. Bet there are a lot of other people In equally deserving professions that would be glad to fill out a few forms to get a discount.

Literally happened to me yesterday. I've made two returns at Lowe's in a span of 5 years. Extremely annoyed that because I was the one who made the return (no receipt) that my husband was unable to use the gift card. I had to be present and show my license. I was 30 mins away from the location. They would not accept my information over the phone even though I'm telling them it's my husband there using it. Ultimately I told my husband to leave everything because I didn't have the time to make a 30 min trip up there.
