- Poor customer service on defective products
Lowes - I am a us veteran. I have three ID’s. Why must I be registered. Once again Lowe’s contradicts their verbal policy. Shame on corporate. They happen to be in my home town. Word of mouth is like-
- Manager conduct
- Handling of service and warranty issues

Sounds like you ordered a clearance priced saw. If they are out and not getting anymore the smart thing to do would be to accept the refund and look elsewhere for a saw.
Better yet, since you only plan on using it once, do the smart thing and rent one. It seems like you like you like to complain for the sake of complaining .
You made a big deal out of a box that was damaged in shipping before you even opened it and found the product inside was in good condition. Look for simpler solutions in life rather than complaining about everything.

same as the other anon's. they could've just cancelled your order since they were sold out.
at least they offered a comparable product (which they come from the SAME manufacturer) and match the price. which is like a difference of $200!
you know how much money they lost? yet still, they did that to satisfy customers

Oh god cry me a river. It is your due diligence to measure your window and purchase a air conditioner that fits it.
Period. You said it yourself “I never thought to check.” Yet, it is Lowe’s fault. Lowe’s should reimburse YOU for the time YOU spent in a taxi because YOU did not do you due diligence as a consumer. Let me guess, the customer service reps, they should have known what size your window was.
Give me a break.
Then they are nice enough to come pick it up, which I’ve never seen done for a window air conditioner...(I bet you were a huge pain in the *** and you have the NERVE to still be *** Get over yourself & take the disibility card somewhere else, everyone is on some sort of “disibility” nowadays. You’re lucky you didn’t deal w me.

Take the time to understand what you are buying. Appliances have a manufacturers warranty.
Many stores and even the manufacturers will offer an extended service plan for sale that will begin when the manufacturers warranty ends and not before. They are correct in telling you to contact the manufacturer as their plan hasn't gone into effect yet.
Do you work for lowes?!?! You seem to be on every comment saying some smart *** response to anything anybody says.
