Lowes in Sanford, Florida - Having problem getting a door

Original delivery date given for a front entry doorway September 23, it is now November 22 a still no door. They have given us a different excuse every time we’ve called. The store is not being proactive in helping us.

purchased a defective door. took lowe's two months to write up report and get manufacturer involved. i ended up having to call the store and speak with the manager in order to get things moving. I was given poor excuses and *** customer service. I will always go to home depot or elsewhere from now on

What's with more, a bird in the hand or two in the bush? Having worked in retail for many years it's obvious that the person you are most likely to make a sale to is the person that has taken time to come to the store.

People calling with questions may or may not come in to actually make a purchase. The customer in front of me, in the store always got priority over the phone.

If someone was going to wait it was the person on the phone. How would you feel if you decided to buy the product you were calling about, went into the store and the employees ignored you because the were talking to someone on the phone?

The Lowe’s in Shelbyville is in a great location and is much needed. However the customer service is almost non existent. This observation is not based on a one time experience but rather multiple experiences within the last 3 years. It can be at 7 am when the store isn’t busy or around lunch time when all staff seems to take their breaks. After years of dealing with this. I think we have reached our breaking point with this Lowe’s and will be switching to Home Depot. It’s an extra 20 minute drive us but it will all even out when you consider how long you have to wait for assistance at this Lowe’s

And perhaps I have thought about that. That’s why I go to Lowe’s at different times of the day but the result is always the same....

slow to non existent customer service.

I have been shopping there for years at all different times and the result is always the same. At some point the determination has to be made that maybe their customer service could use a little bit more attention to detail.

Perhaps you are shopping at the wrong time. There aren't many stores that will have a full staff at 7AM when there aren't many customers shopping. Same goes for meal times, they can't bring in extra staff just to cover meal brakes.

Don't lie to me and tell me my order is ready to be picked up and then when I get there tell me it hasn't even been shipped yet. Employees being deceitful and lying to customers is never a good idea if you want to stay in business. Very lame.

90 day return policy ? Refused to look up receipt w the military discount after i called the store first .I wonder why HOME DEPOT is top in customer satisfaction .Yes i misplaced the receipt..... bleep happens...can you help and the answer is no...So im out $90 on a craftsman wheelbarrow that cracked .

Per usual it’s always the businesses fault when some loser can’t find their receipt. It never changes!!

They expect the store to bail them out and when the store can’t they are the bad guys. Here’s a thought, you have the entire worlds knowledge at your fingertips. It’s a computer, a phone, and most importantly A CAMERA!!! You have just enough brain cells to be dangerous.

You can look up a website so you can whine that you’re not adult enough to handle your business, yet completely fail to use the camera to protect yourself. You take a picture. That picture is going to have all the information so they can reprint the receipt. Did you do that?

No, instead you willingly chose to go online and bash a innocent company because you just can’t handle being an adult. Shameful really.

What is it with people that can't understand it isn't the store's responsibility to keep track of their receipts? If they didn't expect you to keep track of your receipts and were going to do it for you they wouldn't bother giving you one in the first place. I just love that you are headed to Home Depot, I take it you haven't looked at the complaints on their board from people trying to return products without receipts.

I purchased my Frigidaire refrigerator June 29 2019 and a service plan. The fridge is freezing my produce and food. I called and was told I have to contact the manufacturer for the first year! And spoiled food does not apply to freezing only if it stops working !!! WTH Also never appeared on my Lowes account as a purchase, and was told by in store team to contact the warranty team. When I did I get a message open mom- Friday. Call again... Call customer service and they said call Frigidaire! What a run around and I have frozen produce !

Take the time to understand what you are buying. Appliances have a manufacturers warranty.

Many stores and even the manufacturers will offer an extended service plan for sale that will begin when the manufacturers warranty ends and not before. They are correct in telling you to contact the manufacturer as their plan hasn't gone into effect yet.

Today's stores do business with fewer and fewer salespeople on the floor. I would hope they are helping the customers that actually took their time to come into the store to shop than spending their time on the phone. If you are really serious about making a purchase take the time to go to the store.
