9-18-2019... the person head of the service desk is the worst an rude i have ever met at lows south high street in columbus ohio between 5pm and 6pm and needs to be fired... i'm black and so is she . ask her how she treated me when i tryed to pick up my 11 boxes of woodhaven ceiling ... she sent to the back pick up 3 times without sending someone to help load!!!!45 min wasted!!!

Lowes in Western, Virginia - No 10% discount on refrigerator that was on sale.

Details
Lowes keeps changing the rules on veteran discounts. This was explained to me in store (none too kindly) and also over phone (as nice as possible). So if anyone can buy on sale , why say you are giving veterans a 10% discount.? Just quit saying you are. You are only giving them false hope. If there was another appliance store within a 50 mile radius, I would never shop Lowes again.

The terms of the discount are pretty clear stating that they can't be used with any other offer, promotion, discount, markdown.... I other words the discount is available only on full price purchases.

You should be glad you are offered a discount at all. There are many other deserving professions that don't get a discount.

Purchase of flooring from Lowes

Lowes Flooring puruchase Bedford, In Larry & Judy Kidwell 102 Shandell Dr Bedford, In 47421 812-545-9033 2/2 Install estimator came to our home for measurements 2/6 Received estimate from Lowes 2/6 Placed order with Lowes for flooring and paid in full 2/11 Materials delivered and placed in our attached garage. Advised installer will contact within 48 hours. 2/15 120hours later received install from installer and date was set at 2/21 2/20 Install office called at 11:00am and advised material needed to be in home for acclimation. Had material inside by noon 2/21 Installer arrived around 9:00am and could not install today do to material had not had time to acclimate. They advised install office would call back with new install date. 2/22 Had not heard from installer by 10:00am therefore I called install office and talked with Mona. She said installer told her the installers advised they couldn’t do install as material was in garage. She have a new install date of 2/27 2/27 Installers arrived 9:30am and installed a few pieces saying material was defective Advised us to contact asst mgr Cole at Lowes. 2/27 Went to Lowes at 4:00pm and talked with Cole. Explained to him what installers said about defective material. He made arrangements to pick up defective material and replace with new material and said he would contact install office for new install appointment. 2/28 Lowes picked up defective material and replace with new material. 3/4 Have heard nothing from Lowes or installers, called Cole at Lowes 12:30pm and shared with him have heard nothing. He indicated he would call install office. Install office called and advised new install date of 3/11 3/11 Installers arrived 10:15am and looked over material. Did not want to install and said material was made for self installers and there could be some seems that would be visible. We have been dealing with for over a month. I asked for them to go ahead and install. Very disappointed in the service. Install is now complete and satisfied with the install Larry & Judy Kidwell 3/11/2019

Called appliances at the California md Lowes Toni answered she was very rude and instead of helping me she transferred me without telling me to front desk I had a question about an item being in stock and she couldn't help me she just transferred me and the phone ended up disconnecting awful experience.

Tuesday, 9/25/2018, on or about 1:00 PM Purchased 15 bags of garden Mulch from garden center. Was told to drive around to Pick-Up gate and store employees would load items into vehicle. Gate locked and no one in sight except another customer waiting for the same thing. I went back into store and came across 5 employees discussing how to set up artificial "Christmas Trees" for store display. They told me 4 folks were currently working in the garden area. Came across 2 male employees who had absolutely NO interpersonal communications skills and projected an 'attitude' of frustration and disdain. They NEVER acknowledged or spoke to me about my order. I was nothing more than a pain in the butt to both of them. I ended up loading my own Mulch because I was sick of waiting and they never even checked my sales ticket. This type of customer service should not to be tolerated and it is obvious that this store has major issues with their lack of personnel management. Home Depot is my next stop!

Try to get a simple quick answer to a question about ordering, and you are subjected to a query about you before you can ask a question. Angered me so I decided not to order. Ridiculous that they are so data greedy they can't just answer a question. Lowe's was top of my choices, and I have spent thousands of dollars there, Topeka store, in recent years, but today it just fell completely off the list! I am so fed up with manipulative data grabs.

A while back me and my wife purchased some moen Caldwell faucets from you'll because we were trying to remodel our master bathroom. But I was told I had prostate cancer an everything was put on hold so now that we are able to go forward with our project we fine out that the faucets were the wrong ones an all I wanted was to exchange them for the right ones or store credit because I was going to turn around an spend the money there anyway . But the gave me such a hard time saying they couldn't without a receipt which I no longer had it real gave me a sour feeling about shopping at Lowes anymore.....

Receipts are the key to a smooth return no matter where you shop. First of all they prove you purchased the product rather than stole it.

Next, they prove what you paid for the product. They also prove you purchased the product at their store rather than a competitor. It sounds like you have had the faucets sitting around for a while.

It is possible that the faucets are no longer a stock item as well. If in fact the faucets are worth $845 you would be hard pressed to find any store willing to take this amount of merchandise back without a receipt.

I'm sorry but not everyone holds on to a small piece of paper called a receipt! It's not uncommon for someone to misplace a receipt either.

A huge store such as Lowes should have the option to "look up" by card- if paid by CC/debit.

To be denied a merchandise credit is overall just wrong! C'mon Lowes you can do better than that!

They do have the option of using your card to find the item. However, this is only good for up to 2 years.

If they cannot find it through your card, there is nothing they can do.

Most moen faucets require a receipt because they are a high theft item. The register will quite literally deny the return without proper proof.

Paint counter Lowe’s employee walked away, even with me saying excuse me, pressed the button at the service desk an they came back with an attitude “ individual was just standing at the other end of the isle away from the paint counter”. Finish shopping went to check out an register operator double charged I asked to have it removed again attitude an as I watched put it back on this went on three times I had to ask for the extra charge to be removed, continued comments an attitude again, I just stood in shock.

Were you double charged for the paint or did you see a second line added for recycling? In my state there is a state mandated recycling charge added to every paint purchase that has to show up as a separate line on the receipt. It isn't something you can refuse or they can remove.

No actual double charge for items being bought other than the paint. It was clearly seen due to cost of item a double charge.

I have continued to utilize this same establishment an if certain individuals are working will use other avenues.

I have watched them repeatedly give bad advice, wrong information an poor service. Being the major and only type of store in general area there is little other options.

We went to buy more paint and the man was busy so a lady came to Help us she took the lid to our paint to look for the kind of paint she needed to mix I kept watching her she walked around the paint dept for 30 minutes for her to come back to the counter and tell us they was out of the paint she did say they was expecting 40 gallons in but she didn’t know when we always shop Lowes never have had a problem like this before we was at Lowes in Stubenville,Ohio Thank you DiAnn Davis 981 May Roadd East Liverpool,Ohio 43920 330-831-3525

What exactly are you complaining about? Are you upset that an employee from another department came to help you and took a little longer than someone that worked in the department would or that they were out of stock on the paint you needed?

I don't know that either is a valid complaint.

At least someone came to help rather than letting you stand there and wait. Stores also run out of items from time to time.

Lowes - Worst delivery ever

I talked to 3 different people- Lowe's online customer rep twice and their in-store rep about a specific delivery time for my lawn tractor. When the delivery company called to confirm they acknowledged that specific time - no problem. Then the day of delivery the guy calls me in the morning, while I'm at work, and asks if he can deliver now. I say no. He asks if he can drop my $2400 lawn tractor in the driveway and I say no - it has to come when I'm home at the arranged time of 3:30. He says 3:30, got it, ok. At 3:30 I get a call from Lowes asking what day I can arrange delivery because the driver came back at 2:30 and said, "lady no want delivery today". Lowes told me he must not be able to understand English that well and that was the reason for a mix up. I say *** and I ended up having my son use his truck and trailer to pick it up that night. What *** poor service considering I had a freezer delivery from Home Depot last week with THE BEST DELIVERY GUYS EVER. If I need to buy a large anything that needs delivery it won't be from Lowes that's for sure.

I doubt the truth to your story. Having had many deliveries from a number of different stores including Lowes not a one has set a specific time such as 3:30.

There is usually a time range quoted. I realize there are far too many things that can happen in a day to throw a delivery schedule off and to expect an exact time is unreasonable.

My range time was 3:30 to 5:30. NOT 9:00 am and/or dropped off in my driveway.

AND, when I told him 3:30 was better he said, 'fine, 3:30 ok'.He got back to Lowes at 2:30 and told them he was finished and 'the lady say no delivery today'.

NOT what happened. He just wanted to go home, or where ever, early.

Now your story changes. Your complaint states that you talked to 3 people about a specific time for your delivery and stated it was 3:30.

Now you state that it was a time range. What else are you leaving out. I don't know where you expect them to deliver the tractor to other than your driveway. They sure aren't going to put it in your house and you'd complain if they drove their truck on your yard.

The driveway is the logical place to put it. You can drive it from there and store it wherever you want.
