Hi, my name is Bob Earle ID# 02713 3422 078 On March 19th of this year I bought a garden shed from your Cornwall store and paid a delivery charge scheduled for April 28th. Yesterday (April 5th) I went to the store to buy material (approx. $100) and requested it be delivered with the garden shed, I was told they could not do that and I would have to pay another delivery charge for the material (80 bucks) Are you guys nuts, or you just want me to take my business elseware? Did you ever stop to think that the materials you wanted to add to the delivery are coming from a different source than the shed? Delivery trucks don't run free.

They have to pay for the truck, fuel, insurance, a driver, someone to schedule the delivery and load the truck. If the delivery has to come out on a different truck you need to pay the fee for the second truck, Believe it or not, deliveries are not a money making proposition for most stores.

Lowes - My merchandise has not been delivered after several attempt.

The date of purchase was Feb. 18, 2018 at 6pm at Lowes Store located at Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Fl 32073. The original schedule date was on Feb. 27, 2018 between 7-9pm. While we are at work they claimed they arrived in the house at around 4:30 pm. They leave a message to the front door saying that they missed me and that they tried to call me on the same time. That is way way ahead of a schedule time. I called the Customer Service who contacted them and told me that they are to be delivered by 8pm on the same day. So I've waited for several hours but nobody came. I called again and they told me that it was impossible to deliver the item. So they re-reschedule me again the next day after 4pm. Again nobody show up. I called again the Cust. Service and told me that they cant deliver the same. Again a certain Dave a Asst. Store Mgr. Assured me that he will personally make sure that it will be delivered the next day between 3-4:30 pm. Again nobody came. I called the Cust. Service and I spoke directly to the Store Mgr. Mr. James. And he told me that the same will not be delivered as scheduled. And he said that they tried to contact me while we are at work and nobody at home and that they did not leave a message. You will see here how irresponsible these people are. They made me wait and hopeful that finally my order will be delivered. I was really mad and pissed off. This is unacceptable. Right now I don't know what to do with them.

I am in the same boat! Order online and Lowe's told us different stories "4 time"!

It is delaying the kitchen project almost a month. We are still waiting for the kitchen sink to arrive.

The Lowe's promise the delivery to our house yesterday and it didn't delivery yesterday!Lowe's! Listen, you won't get our business anymore!

Lowes in Sandusky, Ohio - Truck broke down excuse again!

Seems like every time we have a Lowe’s delivery they call and tell us their truck broke down! And to add insult on injury we have already waited the entire day! So the driver tells us we need to call the store right away and reschedule a new delivery date. So we call, and after the store clerk asks our name 4 times in the same conversation, she finally says she can’t reschedule our delivery until the truck comes back in! That makes no sense whatsoever! I’m so tired of dealing with this crap!! This same crap happened with my original whole household appliance order in 2001 and then again with my fence order a few years later. If their prices didn’t beat the competition I would not buy appliances from them ever again! Maybe it’s time to get new trucks or come up with a different excuse! So fed up with this crap!!

We currently have a project under rehab. We ordered materials needed ahead of time to be delivered to job site. Original day of delivery was 1/24. Around 2pm, I called the store and ask about our delivery time just to find out It wasn’t on schedule to be delivered and claimed the soonest they can deliver was Friday, 1/26. Friday came, they only delivered half of our materials (wasn’t told about it). Saturday, 1/27 we went to customer service and ask them what happened to other half of our order. we were told the delivery coordinator was gone for the day and given advice call instead. Monday, 1/29, today I called them, delivery date wasn’t set yet and the soonest they can deliver now is Thursday. 1 week delay on our project in which we have to pay Hard money loan for $126 a day.

Went to local @Lowe's Home ImprovementPottsvillePennsylvania (store #553) today to finalize $845 kitchen floor installation. Not only was @Lowe's providing the material but also the installation. I was told that I'd be called to pick up the material once it arrived. When indicated that I have a bad back and couldn't load or unload material, they offered to deliver for an additional $65 to the curb of our property ONLY. WTH! How was I supposed to get the material into the garage? So, due to poor store/corporate policies, Lowe's is out a $800+ job and I'm going to @Home Depot.

Horrible service Three orders so far of landscape materials every order has had problems Order number one. They called said the truck broke down so I actually had to go pick it up myself because they were going to take several more days to deliver Order number two. We ordered patio pavers and patio block. They called said they could not deliver all at once so we requested the patio block be sent first. They said the pavers would be shipped the next day. Pavers arrived first they hit our trailer with the skid deliver truck and drove away without saying anything. Order number three. Patio block that was to be delivered first as stated above. Lowes just called said they can not deliver it today because the order is not together and the truck driver can not wait. I will never do business with lowes again. Local companies may cost a little more but their service is worth the price.

Yup! If you are lucky enough to still have a locally owned company that can do it, then i highly recommend buying from them. They usually will be much more appreciative of your business than the third party delivery service that Lowe's uses to keep their prices low and their profits high.

I purchased a washer on Tuesday the 22rd and was to be delivered on Sat the 26th between 12 and 4PM. I stayed home all day waiting for this washer and called at 3:30 to find out where it was. I waited online for 20 min. and was told delivery is still scheduled for me. Well at 8:00 Sat night it showed up. I had to take a day off work for this delivery and it didn't show until Sat evening. This is a very poor way to treat your customers. I use my Lowes credit card and now I am very worried to use it again. Is this normal and why did I have to call and not someone at Lowes telling me my delivery would be late? VERY VERY POOR customer service

A promise is a promise. How lame to make excuses for poor service and outright lies.

We have had Lowes blow at least 5 delivery dates. They fail far more often than they follow through.

What it is is reality in the world of deliveries. Do you think the drivers wanted to be delivering Saturday night?

Unfortunately deliveries don't always go as planned. Appliances are big item and even though people think they are going to fit through their doors they sometimes don't.

You may find the deliveries before your required the drivers to remove and replace doors on refrigerators that they hadn't planned on, they had to wait for people to clear out their old refrigerators, even though that should have been done already and on and on. Until we live in a perfect world, there will be things that put schedules behind.

Yes, deliveries can be complicated, and delivering appliances seems like an often terrible and back-breaking job. I don't ever fault the drivers for something being late.

What I do fault is a company that doesn't notify customers if something will be very late or not be delivered at all (the latter was the case for us). It's just polite--a customer spends a vacation day or loses work hours to be at home, so at least make sure someone picks up the phone and talks to them.

It shows that the company cares or at least cares enough to pretend. Communication, that's all.

After repeated calls and emails. I finally got a call that the frig was on its way to my house.

But after I was told 3-4 different things. As big as a company this is you'd think they'd have a better system to know what going on with orders anytime along the process!

Online orders are not always up to date with inventory, and many times sell the display as valid inventory.

Which most people don't like.
