Lowes ruined my driveway

Lowes was told not to let delivery truck come down my driveway to deliver 1,000lbs of goods that should have been brought down on the forklift the truck was carrying. Ground was rain-soaked. Instead they drove a 30,000# 10-wheeler down the driveway and caused $18,000. damage. Destroyed my driveway and do not respond to correspondence.

Who was that carrier and how was it delivered? Do they claim it was delivered into your home or was it something someone like UPS left on your porch?

If it was something you had delivered to your porch have you even thought it could have been stolen off your porch? Porch theft of packages is frequently on the news and you may be looking at theft rather than fraud.

Lowes in Shakopee, Minnesota - Failed me as a customer

So I purchased a range and a power cord on June 4th. I currently don't have a working range, I contacted Lowes twice and was able to move up my delivery date. That was until today June 7th when I lost all respect for Lowes. I got informed through a email and a call from the store manager that infact the range wouldn't be delivered early however not until June 25th. As the store delivering only comes to my town on Tuesday and that is the next available opening. I also see then that the range I had ordered was now $100 less than I paid. There was two stores that had that range available that could have made that delivery. In fact the one they want to deliver the range out of is futher away than the closest Lowes that had the range also. I cancelled the order and now scrambling to figure out what to do without a range and how to get one quickly. It is really nice to have one to cook your meals on. My wife was vey upset and we both like the range. This unacceptable.

It's not like you live in a small town. There are plenty of places to get a range.

Other big box stores like Menards could have delivered a range they had in stock the next day. You also have access to appliance stores like Warners' Stellian with a good selection of appliances available for fast delivery.

And you could also rent a truck and take one home if you really need it right now. Get off the internet go to another store and get a range to make your wife happy.

This is where your comment shows ignorance. Home Depot doesn't keep any in stock, local appliance store Degroode doesn't keep any in stock, and Menards did have a couple in stock.

Now why would someone over pay for a range, rent a truck, and pay for gas? Warners' Stellian doesn't come to Mankato as I already checked. Also I would get off the internet which I have done when I was looking all over town searching and I do it myself except I had back surgery in 2017 and in 2018.

I am less than a year out from a spinal fusion. I am not Daddy Warbucks were I can just throw stupid money at problems to make them go away instead of trying to be fiscally responsible.

Bought a refrigerator from Lowe’s and they delivered it My husband told them to take the doors off the refrigerator it would make it easier to take up the stairs but no they wouldn’t I also told them three times be careful of my hardwood flooors Well when they were bring it up the stairs I looked down and they had gouged my front entry hall then at the top of the stairs they decided to take off the doors and gouged the landing no blanket under it also moved it into kitchen and gouged kitchen floor They also while lifting it up the stairs marked every stair nose coming up My whole house is engineered hardwood except for the bedrooms I have been trying to have them deal with this for a month Talked to manager three times the girl at the store that is supposed to be dealing with this three times and head office emailed three time I feel like I am getting the run around They completely ruined my floors and I am very particular about my floor WHAT A HASSEL I wish I had of gone to Home Depot at least they have professional delivery guys

If those are the issues that your home presents then you should be understanding that not only are you requiring someone to do something that you wouldn't do but you are also the cause of the increased difficulty strain on said persons. If it's not a straight in and out job then do it yourself because then when you nick every single step going up your stairs then you'd understand.

I've always preferred Lowe's to their competitors but after this experience never again. I purchased a washer/dryer and setup to have them delivered through their delivery service contractor. The night before they called around 8pm with a delivery time frame between 3-7 for the next day which was kinda weird. I mean talk about last minute. The next evening 630pm no one has showed up or called so I call and they explain the driver is running behind he'll be there by 730pm. Then 830pm rolls around once again no one has showed up or called so I call back a bit frustrated this time and they tell me sorry the driver can't work anymore hours we'll deliver it 2 days from now. Lol at first I thought this must be a joke I've never had customer service this bad. I wasted my Saturday night with my kids waiting around on this delivery, my old washer/dryer is disconnected sitting outside, and my door is off the hinges all to make the delivery easy for them. Then they conveniently wait until the store is closed so I can't call and give them a piece of my mind to tell me sorry we'll deliver it 2 days from now!

Xpo delivery service for lowes sucks

Ordered a fridge and was suppose to be delivered today. Waited around all day for them. Xpo called and kept pushing the delivery back and finally a no show. I called xpo and they said they could not get ahold of the driver . Finally recieved a call at 7 pm and they rescheduled for tomarrow and would not give me a time . Recieved robo call from xpo and the time is 330 to 530 . Not acceptable !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Lowes is loosing a customer

Lowes in Kyle, Texas - Delivery Nightmares

We bought a new washer and dryer and they weren't able to deliver it until the following week, which was fine because it was after a big sale weekend so we weren't surprised. We went back a couple days later and bought a stove. They said they couldnt deliver it the same day because the truck was full... which we said no problem. That being said, each time we were told that we would get a call on the delivery day morning letting us know a 2 hour window for the delivery to take place. Long story short: The first delivery (washer and dryer) we NEVER received a delivery window... instead they called and let us know they were 20 minutes away. This was very annoying because everyone in the household works and no one was home, so I had to rush home from work to let them in... and thankfully they were late or, with our luck, they would have just left. The second delivery we did receive a delivery window... between 2-4pm. My wife left work early and went to the house. Around 5pm she sent me a message asking if I had heard from Lowes because no one had shown up yet. I told her no and called the store to follow up. The manager I spoke with at the Kyle, TX location was indifferent and talking to them was useless. I got the truck drivers number who said they would be there by 6... TWO HOURS LATE. The best part? They didn't even show up by 6. We expected more from Lowes in both their delivery process and in their customer service (or lack there of). Beware of their supposed delivery window... it'll cost you both time and money.

Stores should just quit delivering products and require that consumers arrange their own transportation for purchases. There are just too many things that can throw off a delivery schedule that are beyond the control of the store.

The biggest challenges are the consumers that aren't ready for their deliveries. For appliances the door openings may not be big enough. A path may need to be cleared through the house to get an appliance through. People waiting until their delivery is there to take the food out of their refrigerator.

And the list can go on and on. In a perfect world a store could give you an exact time your delivery would arrive but in the real world there are things beyond their control that cause delays.

Just think, have you ever been late to work or an event because of a traffic accident or congested roads? Not something you had planned on, but it just happens.

Our lowes store is a total mess if you place an online order. We ordered an upright freezer last month. We received a delivery date and everything. The day came and we got no delivery. i called the next day and they had no record of our order. Turns out they cancelled our order because they said they were out of stock and never notified us. All they do on the phone is give you the run around. It took me going to the store to get it resolved. Because i didnt learn the first time two weeks ago we placed another online order for an area rug. It was supposed to be at the store for pickup on April 3. Well i called about it and they told me they don't know where it is. They deal with a third party distributor and they can't track the order i placed 2 weeks ago. They have no clue where it is or when it would even get here. So i ended up cancelling this order and I'll go elsewhere. I called the customer service line at corporate tonight. The man i talked to was very arrogant which just ticked me off more. I said well because of your stores incompetence you just lost a sale and all future business from us. His reply was ok we wont miss your business we have plenty of customers. Really thats a great way to treat a now former customer.

Ditto. But we were “lucky” enough to get a loaner washer.

It wouldn’t drain, so I diagnosed it based on error codes and past problem reviews with this particular brand. You would not believe what I found in the drain filter/coin trap....going to use the documentation as high and as viral as it takes.....a picture speaks a thousand words.

If you are going to pick a product up at a store go to the store and order it. That way the order will be in the stores records.

When you order products on-line the order is in a separate system.

They don't always talk well with each other. Not just Lowes, but pretty much the same at other stores as well.

Placed an order with Lowes on-line for over $8.000.00 worth of appliances on 8-9-17. On 8-9 I get a call from the LakePark Store what I would like my order delivered we agree on a delivery date of 8-17-17. Got a call from the Lowes delivery company at &:50 am on 8-12-17 telling me my order will be there between 9 and noon, I explain to the delivery company that I live in Boston and im scheduled for delivery on the 17th I hang up confused so I called the Lowes store that Saturday and made sure that I was all set for the 17th I also told the store that I live in Mass and have to fly to FL to accept delivery , we confirmed a delivery date of 8-17-17 with a delivery window of 9 to 12. All good right ??? On 17th , 3 PM comes and no call, I called the store spoke with the delivery department, I was told that the appliances haven't even arrived in the store from the manufacturer , I asked to speak to a manager , only to be told the store manager was at another location and would return my call on Friday the 18th , as you all guessed NO call from anyone at Lowes on the 18th, on 8-22-17 I thought to myself okay maybe the manager got busy so I called the store myself .... That call was Useless !!!! no return call until 8-25-17, at that time I was told that the appliances wouldn't be in the store until 9-27-17 from the manufacturer. Now folks we're talking about a washer/dryer unit , fridge, stove and microwave ,, nothing special right ?? Finally I get a call from the store on 9-1-17 everything but the washer Dryer unit was in and would I like to set up a delivery date --- SURE !! So I make plans to fly once again to FL with a delivery date 9-8-17 , okay mother nature had other ideas and a hurricane got in the way of those plans, flight was canceled so I called the store to set a new delivery date,, to be determined. On 9-11-17 I called the store and asked about delivery, I was told that they came through the hurricane okay and would I like a new delivery date of 9-15-17,, told delivery that I needed make sure I can get a flight out and call the store back , called back , 9-15-17 will be fine , delivery window between 9 to noon. GREAT !!! You'll never guess,,,,,, no call from Lowes delivery but I did get a text stating my delivery window would be 9-12 on the 15th 2 pm comes no call so I call them,,, finally I call Lowes delivery at 2 and they were shocked to hear that I hadn't heard from anyone ,, at 3 PM on the 15th , I get a call,,,driver was running late , would it be okay if we delivered on the 16th in the morning , they didn't have a time , I said no problem give me a call me in the morning ,,,but ,,,, I have flight out at 5 Pm on the 16th back to Boston so they cant be any later than 1 or 2 pm, ..its Monday 9-18-17 at 9 am I just canceled my $8.096,43 order and still no call from the store !!!! Lowes doesn't need my money I guess so they wont be getting any more ......I will never step foot in another lowes store ever!!!!
