Kitchen Remodel was a total disaster. The Install took over 3 months to complete because project coordinator was so rude and did not care if installation was done or not. I called management and spoke to everyone it seems at Lowes and they all have the same attitude of not caring if customers are satisfied or not. I was lied to and even hung up on by rude Lowes management and install staff. This was the worse experience I have ever had, will never use Lowe's services again.

I am going through the same thing with Lowes in Framingham mass. Been six months, a total disaster and not done yet.

Lowe's has contacted me on this and I cannot say enough about the excellent service I received. They reviewed the facts of my complaint and honored their price match just has they promised.

Also, they contacted me often to be certain the item was delivered in a timely manner and to my satisfaction.

Thankfully, they do listen. Hopefully, training will be considered for those that did not.

So much for Lowe's "Price Match"...it isn't guaranteed at all. Per there own website they state: "We guarantee our everyday competitive prices. If you find a lower everyday price on an identical item at a local retail competitor, just bring us the competitor's current ad, and we'll beat their price by 10%. If a competitor is offering a percent off discount, we’ll match the final net price the competitor is offering. Our price guarantee does not apply to installation labor, to the competitor's closeout, special order, discontinued, clearance, liquidation or to damaged items. Limited to reasonable quantities." No where in this does it say they have the right to say that they can turn it down if they are going to lose money on it. So don't even try......and if you aren't happy, their Supervisor in Customer Support will ever so politely tell you there is no one above him to help you. End of story. Well...sadly, Lowe's not only lost a valuable customer and Lowe's Card holder...they lost our trust.

We had Lowe's put in our flooring ..In livening room,dinning room and hallway ...I have had to call them over 20 times ..They sent out two diff guys to fix the floor in over 5 months...still the flooring is not fixed and one guy cut *** in my kitchen floor the size of a dime...When I said something to him ,he said its not that bad ..What the heck ,It's my floor....Then he puts caulking over it .....I'm like what have you done ..he says he will cover it and no one will see it..REALLY !!! This is the kind of back wards work Lowes is ok with !!!!!!!??? Now I have called the main office and talked to the store mgn...NOTHING...Come on 5 months and only 2 times that store has called me ,with lies all lies ..we will send someone out to fix the floor..noone has fixed it in 5 months ... Time for a lawyer!

Lowes in Jupiter, Florida - Armstrong laminate installation

Lower did a wonderful job; the laminate looks beautiful and its been years since I had it installed and still holding as good as the first day that was installed. I recommend Armstrong laminate and lower flooring as they did great. I don't know why armstrong did away with laminate and now Bruce is fading out. I just tried buying prego laminate and the laminate is not as strong as armstrong. I returned as I was not convinced with that product. But I do believe that Lowes does a great job with installation of flooring. Great experience.

I am 100 percent dissatisfied with the results of the project and the Reno, NV Lowes is refusing to correct the job. I reside in a community governed by a homeowner’s association (HOA) and the new windows were to match pre-existing windows throughout our community. However, the windows that Lowes installed do not match the pre-existing windows and as such Lowes has created a liability for me (see photo). I am seeking replacement of the windows such that they match pre-existing windows throughout our community but Lowes is stonewalling me, arguing that they installed the windows that I ordered. Lowes customer satisfaction policy states: “Customer satisfaction is our goal. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the merchandise to any Lowe's store in the U.S. within 90* days. We, in our discretion, will repair it, replace it, or, based on your method of payment with a valid receipt, refund your money.” (http://www.lowes.com/cd_Returns+and+Refunds+Policy_33243642_) Additionally, the “Installation Proposal – Windows”, attached under item #4 states Lowes will: “Ensure your complete satisfaction with all aspects of the job.” This is my first and last time working with Lowes in any way, shape or form. This is a huge mess that is going to cost me thousands of dollars to fix ($6,000 job - 8 windows).

Lowes in Tulsa, Oklahoma - $1,415 installation for $419 Purchase!

I needed a new hot water heater, and had tentatively picked out a 40 gal gas unit with a cost of $419. I paid $50 to have Lowe's contracted plumber come out and determine exactly what would need to be done. The plumber said various things need to be done to bring everything up code, but they would provide Lowe's with the information, and Lowe's would provide me with the final quote. The total cost of water heater and installation was going to be $1,835! When I said I wanted to see in writing exactly what I was paying for, they said they couldn't do that! They expected me to pay $1,415 for installation and misc. parts, without any supporting detail. Needless to say, I didn't do it, but obviously there are fools out there that would. No more business from me. I expect to see what I'm paying for!!

They could re-plumb the whole water heater system and more for that!

Good call. Stay away from them.

Lowes - Installation Review from Bonita Springs, Florida

I went into the Lowes store at Airport Pulling Road, Naples, Florida looking for Vinyl Flooring. I stood in the aisle for 20 minutes and sitting 10 feet from me was an Associate, sitting on his lazy *** and never offered to help me. I wondered to the back to look at baseboard and trim. An Associate walked right pass me and never offered to help. I finally flagged down another Associate asking a question about the product and when I turned around he was gone. I finally left that disgusting store. I worked in retail Myself for 15 years and our motto was take care of the customer. If a customer went out our doors dissatisfied, we went right behind them. We we were fired. I have had two terrible Installation experiences with Lowes and they should not be in this business.

ORDERED CUSTOM SHADES FROM LOWES IN MILFORD. RECEIVED PHONE CALL COMING TO MEASURE NEXT TUESDAY. CALL CAME IN ON WEDNESDAY OR THURSDAY. I COMMENTED AND SAID GREAT, I DID NOT EXPECT IT SO SOON. NEXT TUESDAY WAITED THE TWO HOUR WAIT PERIOD AND FINALLY CALLED THE INSTALLER, DENNIS, AND HE SAID THERE WAS A MISUNDERSTANDING. APPOINTMENT WAS FOR THE FOLLOWING TUESDAY. THE FOLLOWING TUESDAY THE INSTALLER CAME TO MEASURE (NOT DENNIS) 1-1/2 HOURS LATE TO MEASURE FOR SHADES. DENNIS IS THE BOSS I WAS TOLD BY THE MEASURER. SHADES CAME IN AND WERE INSTALLED ON 23RD OF DECEMBER. NICE GUY AND PERSONABLE (SAME ONE WHO MEASURED). INSTALLED SHADES IN LESS THAN AN HOUR. GAVE HIM A GENEROUS TIP AND HE LEFT. APPROX. 3 DAYS LATER ONE SHADE FELL OFF FROM THE BRACKETS. (I WAS NOT PRESENT, DO NOT LIVE THERE AS YET). MY CONTRACTOR WAS THERE WHEN IT FELL OFF THE WINDOW. CALLED DENNIS-OWNER AND LEFT MESSAGE TO CALL ME AT HOME (WHERE I LIVE). NO RETURN PHONE CALL. WAITED TWO DAYS AND THEN CALLED LOWE'S TO COMPLAIN. THEY SAID THEY KNEW ABOUT IT AND WOULD RECEIVE A CALL FROM THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY (DENNIS). NO CALL. CALLED DENNIS AND HE SAID HE CALLED ME AND LEFT ME A LENGTHY MESSAGE. NEVER RECEIVED IT. FOUND OUT HE CALLED ME ON MY CELL PHONE WHICH I ONLY USE FOR EMERGENCY PURPOSES. I HAD PREVIOUSLY ASKED HIM TO CALL ME AT MY HOME NUMBER AND LEFT IT FOR HIM. I REQUESTED THAT SOMEONE COME OUT THE NEXT DAY TO FIX THE SHADE, HE SAID "OH NO, NOONE IS COMING OUT TOMORROW".. I THEN LOST IT AND TOLD HIM THIS WAS THE 3RD DAY THIS SHADE WAS DOWN. HE SAID THAT SOMEONE HAD TO HAVE TAMPERED WITH IT BECAUSE ONCE A SHADE IS UP, IT'S UP. I TOLD HIM I WAS REPORTING HIM TO LOWE'S AND HUNG UP ON HIM. THIS IS THE 4TH DAY AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR SOMEONE FROM LOWE'S TO CALL ME. I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH THE INSTALL DEPARTMENT OF LOWE'S (NO ONE FROM LOWE'S EVER CALLED ME). THEY SAID THAT THEY WERE ON THE PHONE WITH DENNIS AND THAT DENNIS WAS TRYING TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT AS WE WERE SPEAKING. MIGHT I ADD THAT IT WOULD TAKE AT LEAST 1 MINUTE OR LESS TO SCREW THESE BRACKETS IN. (ELECTRIC SCREWDRIVER) BUT IT IS TAKING HIM 4-5 DAYS FOR HIM TO GET SOMEONE OUT TO MY HOUSE????????? DOES THIS MAKE SENSE, IS IT RIGHT? VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE PART OF THE OWNER OF THIS INSTALLATION COMPANY. We have had very bad experience with canyon country Lowes location. we went to store on 11/9/2015 and ordered 1 blind, 2 roman shades and 2 solar shades. it cost us about $2350. thy said first they will send somebody to measure the windows. after a week the measurement guy came to our house but did not have required equipment (ladder) to measure the windows. sent another contractor and he measured the window sizes so we went and order all window treatments, after 2 weeks items arrived and contractor came to install only with 2 items out of 5 and those were wrong size. We contacted Lowes, they corrected it and installer came back and installed 3 other blinds while they are waiting to receive those 2 wrong size items. 2 of those 3 blinds where wring type too also installer throw away our old blinds. we contacted Lowes and they told us they will order correct items again and we did not hear from them until today (12/18/2015) which we call them. Sadly they never corrected the ordered and never ordered new blinds. they did not have no idea about any order and delivery estimate. I wanted to cut the lost and cancel all order but the lady said you can't. we don't reimburse because we already installed 2 (wrong type) blinds and thats your problem if our installer throw away your old blinds. and BTW even if he did not throw them away I cannot put them back myself, that's why I paid $900 to Lowes only for installation. Make it short, we made sure that they order the items correctly this time over the phone but nobody has any idea when vendor will send the stuff, they don't even give us any estimate. I'm sure it won't be done this year. Your company mismanagement created a awkward holiday for my family. they still cannot give us estimate, they said oh it's only delay but we will do it eventually. I cannot believe it, after 2 months we are still at point 0 and we cannot even cancel and return to normal life. I'll never go to any Lowes store in my life. if you cannot do business get out and close your store.

Lowes in Burlington, North Carolina - Poor Fence installation, No help from Customer Care

They hire subcontractors who do not call to let you know when they will be scheduling your installation. It took multiple calls to my "project manager" to even get it scheduled (over a 2 week period) When it was finally installed they left the white tags at the bottom of each board. They did not refill the holes with the dirt they removed when they set the new posts in concrete. They left coffee cups and used my water hose, which I had unhooked from the spigot due to the weather getting colder.One of the rails across the top of the fence is not straight and two of the posts on section of fence are not the same height. There were also several boards that right away had golf ball size holes through them. Even though I am supposed to have a 1 year warranty, it again took me sending pictures and multiple phone calls to get them to come out. After a week, I called and asked my project manager why I hadn't been contacted he told me the installer came out and replaced the holes in the boards, noted that my gate was locked but everything else was fine. I questioned how he was able to see that being that the problem was on the inside of the fence, of course it would be locked and that why he would need to contact me first in order to come out when I would be available to be there. He then told me that my rail was not straight because my yard was sloped and it needed to be that way. My yard is completely flat. The fence that was there before had all the posts the same height and all the rails were straight on every section. There is no reason for that rail not be straight. I also wanted to know why they continued to come on my property without notifying me first. Finally the installer called me the next morning and set up an appointment to come out to meet me the following Monday, he didn't give me an exact time but said he would call when he was on his way. I told him I would arrange to be at home that day. Monday comes, nobody shows, nobody calls.

Lowes sold my fence install to a third party contractor that, did a *** job!! They never corrected the error of 1.

Lowes- employee -missed measured. The asst. mgr. at 0740 she said she knew and nothing was done to correct 2 6ft post/Suppose to ne 8ft.

and a panel suppose to be 6ft height by 8foot. Never corrected. Nancy from 0740 came over to my condo with a worker saw their was a problem said it was a quick fix. Didnt hear from Nancy for 2 weeks.

I called Nancy back at the store In Saint Petersburg fla store 0740 and she said because, I called corperate her hands are tied. I was not getting taken care at store level. I went step by step by step not wanting to go over anyones head . Nothing...

store asst. said at the time your calling again as if iam a problem???? No one fixed the problem to begin with. No one re-ordered the right 2 posts and panel to make it right......theis is past a year now....been a problem from day one.

I even wrote the ceo nothing. The better business bureau from Carolina says oh Lowes considers the case closed??? What????YOU NEVER TOOK CARE OF ME OR CORRECTED MY FENCE FROM DAY ONE.

YOU SOLD MY JOB TO A THRID PARTY DUE TO IT BEING BUSY FROM"...HURRICANE IRMA??? Lowes needs to stand by their customers and if they make a mistake fix it!!!
