$1800.00 for a water heater installation? That's insane!

They could re-plumb the whole water heater system and more for that!

Good call. Stay away from them.

ORDERED CUSTOM SHADES FROM LOWES IN MILFORD. RECEIVED PHONE CALL COMING TO MEASURE NEXT TUESDAY. CALL CAME IN ON WEDNESDAY OR THURSDAY. I COMMENTED AND SAID GREAT, I DID NOT EXPECT IT SO SOON. NEXT TUESDAY WAITED THE TWO HOUR WAIT PERIOD AND FINALLY CALLED THE INSTALLER, DENNIS, AND HE SAID THERE WAS A MISUNDERSTANDING. APPOINTMENT WAS FOR THE FOLLOWING TUESDAY. THE FOLLOWING TUESDAY THE INSTALLER CAME TO MEASURE (NOT DENNIS) 1-1/2 HOURS LATE TO MEASURE FOR SHADES. DENNIS IS THE BOSS I WAS TOLD BY THE MEASURER. SHADES CAME IN AND WERE INSTALLED ON 23RD OF DECEMBER. NICE GUY AND PERSONABLE (SAME ONE WHO MEASURED). INSTALLED SHADES IN LESS THAN AN HOUR. GAVE HIM A GENEROUS TIP AND HE LEFT. APPROX. 3 DAYS LATER ONE SHADE FELL OFF FROM THE BRACKETS. (I WAS NOT PRESENT, DO NOT LIVE THERE AS YET). MY CONTRACTOR WAS THERE WHEN IT FELL OFF THE WINDOW. CALLED DENNIS-OWNER AND LEFT MESSAGE TO CALL ME AT HOME (WHERE I LIVE). NO RETURN PHONE CALL. WAITED TWO DAYS AND THEN CALLED LOWE'S TO COMPLAIN. THEY SAID THEY KNEW ABOUT IT AND WOULD RECEIVE A CALL FROM THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY (DENNIS). NO CALL. CALLED DENNIS AND HE SAID HE CALLED ME AND LEFT ME A LENGTHY MESSAGE. NEVER RECEIVED IT. FOUND OUT HE CALLED ME ON MY CELL PHONE WHICH I ONLY USE FOR EMERGENCY PURPOSES. I HAD PREVIOUSLY ASKED HIM TO CALL ME AT MY HOME NUMBER AND LEFT IT FOR HIM. I REQUESTED THAT SOMEONE COME OUT THE NEXT DAY TO FIX THE SHADE, HE SAID "OH NO, NOONE IS COMING OUT TOMORROW".. I THEN LOST IT AND TOLD HIM THIS WAS THE 3RD DAY THIS SHADE WAS DOWN. HE SAID THAT SOMEONE HAD TO HAVE TAMPERED WITH IT BECAUSE ONCE A SHADE IS UP, IT'S UP. I TOLD HIM I WAS REPORTING HIM TO LOWE'S AND HUNG UP ON HIM. THIS IS THE 4TH DAY AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR SOMEONE FROM LOWE'S TO CALL ME. I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH THE INSTALL DEPARTMENT OF LOWE'S (NO ONE FROM LOWE'S EVER CALLED ME). THEY SAID THAT THEY WERE ON THE PHONE WITH DENNIS AND THAT DENNIS WAS TRYING TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT AS WE WERE SPEAKING. MIGHT I ADD THAT IT WOULD TAKE AT LEAST 1 MINUTE OR LESS TO SCREW THESE BRACKETS IN. (ELECTRIC SCREWDRIVER) BUT IT IS TAKING HIM 4-5 DAYS FOR HIM TO GET SOMEONE OUT TO MY HOUSE????????? DOES THIS MAKE SENSE, IS IT RIGHT? VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE PART OF THE OWNER OF THIS INSTALLATION COMPANY. I HAVE JUST RENOVATED MY ENTIRE NEW CONDO AND SPENT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS AT LOWE'S IN MILFORD. RECORDS CAN BE CHECKED. ALL NEW APPLIANCES, BACK SPLASH AS WELL AS MANY OTHER ITEMS NEEDED TO RENOVATE AND THIS IS HOW I AM TREATED. NEVER AGAIN. I SHOULD HAVE STAYED WITH JC PENNY FOR MY CUSTOM SHADES. VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

They hire subcontractors who do not call to let you know when they will be scheduling your installation. It took multiple calls to my "project manager" to even get it scheduled (over a 2 week period) When it was finally installed they left the white tags at the bottom...

Lowes sold my fence install to a third party contractor that, did a *** job!! They never corrected the error of 1.

Lowes- employee -missed measured. The asst. mgr. at 0740 she said she knew and nothing was done to correct 2 6ft post/Suppose to ne 8ft.

and a panel suppose to be 6ft height by 8foot. Never corrected. Nancy from 0740 came over to my condo with a worker saw their was a problem said it was a quick fix. Didnt hear from Nancy for 2 weeks.

I called Nancy back at the store In Saint Petersburg fla store 0740 and she said because, I called corperate her hands are tied. I was not getting taken care at store level. I went step by step by step not wanting to go over anyones head . Nothing...

store asst. said at the time your calling again as if iam a problem???? No one fixed the problem to begin with. No one re-ordered the right 2 posts and panel to make it right......theis is past a year now....been a problem from day one.

I even wrote the ceo nothing. The better business bureau from Carolina says oh Lowes considers the case closed??? What????YOU NEVER TOOK CARE OF ME OR CORRECTED MY FENCE FROM DAY ONE.

YOU SOLD MY JOB TO A THRID PARTY DUE TO IT BEING BUSY FROM"...HURRICANE IRMA??? Lowes needs to stand by their customers and if they make a mistake fix it!!!

That's why it is always best to hire your own contractor. That way you can check references and deal directly with the contractor rather than going through a 3rd party.

Yikes...you always want to have someone at the home when anyone is doing work, or even paid to clean the house..always....just too much could go wrong, stolen, gone through etc

That's crazy. .I could not imagine walking into that..like you would see on a movie...I have a friend's mom whom had lowes install kitchen laminate floor..not a very big area, and they pulled the dishwasher out to install "the right way" they ruined the dishwasher, and messed up the floor and cut it in small sections and they sent people out, take pics, sent peple from the manafactor out....it's been 4 years and she eventually just "ate the cost" and she had someone else to fix it once she realized they would not help, and found they didn't lay floor right, and there was a small leak from dishwasher that was seeping under the laminate (she has issues with it bending up, they tried to say because she used water to mop cause it) and it leaked through her walls, and into her laundry room and down into basement from when she ran the dishwasher and didn't know it was leaking. Had mold growing and everything..these peple are like 70 ish and sure had no pulled the dishwasher out or anything since lowes workers had...but thank goodness their insurance state farm helped them and got things replaced

Lowes in Southport, North Carolina - Poor customer service

I ordered a microwave with installation. We picked up the unit at the store but when the installer came he said he was sent to "detail" the unit but didn't quite understand why that needed to be done. Nonetheless he refused to install the unit since the store had incorrectly omitted that we needed installation. After this was resolved after another visit to the store we have been receiving nearly daily phone calls asking whether the unit had been installed. Each caller said that no one had indicated that someone had called previously & that they would make a note. None do date have.
