Lowes in Cape Coral, Florida - Samsung Dishwasher

. I have had issues with the dishwasher from the date of installation. I was not informed when I purchased the dishwasher that it did not have an element to dry the dishwasher. It has a fan that air dries the dishwasher. Your hot water must be turned up all the way to create enough steam to dry the dishes and then when it cycles to leave the door open. This does not seem energy efficient to me. I had a service call prior to the warranty ending due to not cycling, nor the soap dispenser not opening and the repairman was able to fix the dishwasher under warranty. Now the dishwasher is doing the same thing. I called Samsung first and they informed me that they showed no service on the dishwasher and there was nothing that they could do to help me. I was extremely frustrated because I spent $697 on the dishwasher. I went into the Lowes store and the gentleman told me to call the Lowes Customer Service. I was informed by a Representative that I would have to pay for parts and service for a dishwasher that has not worked for 2 months. I am extremely disappointed that Lowes does not stand behind the products that they sell and service.

how hard is it to do some research before you make an appliance purchase? IF you would have done any research at all, you could have known about these issues and purchased another dishwasher!

It is NOT the responsibility of a retail store to stand behind the product. It IS the responsibility of the manufacturer to stand behind their product and warranty. You should be complaining about Samsung rather than Lowes.

Lowes in Ridgeway, Virginia - Worker damaged vanity top and Lowe's won't do anything about it

We bought a bath sink from Lowe's and had them put it in. When the installer took out the old sink he cut our vanity top just about all the way around. The man said he didn't do it and that we bought a sink that was smaller than what we had and the cuts were already there. I thought that was why we paid $35 for someone to come and measure and tell us what we needed to buy. Now we have to look at all these cuts and my bathroom looks worse than before. Martinsville, Va Lowe's SUCKS!

Home Depot is worse than Lowes. Home Depot lets their employees get hit with merchandise, doesn't follow up on injuries starts out giving their employees hours then reduces them to only 10 hours a week.

If you need a job stay away from Home Depot. It's horrible to work for.

They will suck you dry. They work you and don't pay anything.

Charged additional fees beyond installation fee once tech showed up at my door. 425$ for installation for 2 hours work. More than the hot water heater itself. I am outraged. I will not buy so much as a nail from lowes again and Will tell everyone who will listen what a rip off Lowe's is

Lowes - Deck install in Salem VA

Please be aware to not use Lowes for Deck install. I started the process in October and as we go into January no deck. Lowes has lied over and over again and does not care that the work is not done despite the fact the have our money and charged us three months of interest on work not done. They have gone as far as to say materials were stolen from the worksite, when I asked about a police report the told me I would need to do that myself. I will not file a false police report for Lowes lies. Beware!!!

Lowes - Installation Review from Arlington, Texas

My husband and I purchased a dishwasher from lowes two weeks ago in Arlington, Tx. The salesperson promised us we could have it installed December 15th. The installers called and never left a message on my husbands phone nor did they call me which I'm listed. After my husband missed the call due to him being at work I called back and never got a call back fr the installer. The store was rude and not willing to meet their promise I will never purchase another appliance from them. They really need to have customer service training for all associates because they all lack this even when we go into the store for help or have a question. Horrible organization!!!!

Months ago I planned to order Levalor Blinds from Lowes, picked up the book looked at materials, no call from a request made. Was told they didn't have my number. NOT true. I have them in my contacts with them calling me on my cell. After them explaining to me they called the wrong number I went ahead and let them send out someone to measure my windows. I was delighted to see them delivered within 10 day, week before Thanksgiving. Installer didn't contact me until after...no real problem, just was happy he was here and they were going up. NO they weren't...!!! Order was WRONG! Ordered top down opening, remembered having the conversation with the sales girl about loving the fact they opened that way. Upon the installer taking them down and calling Lowes, I told him I needed the reorder immediately in fear of not being installed my Xmas. This was on the 2nd of Dec. Was told someone would call me from Lowes. It's the 4th and I finally called them finding out that my new order wasn't called in. Reason, picking up blinds first. I didn't care if my CC was charged 2X at this point just needed the order to be put through. Was told today that the girl who handles orders wasn't in until tomorrow and no one else could help me. I decided after thinking about it to call the manager. He told me he was sending someone to pick up the blinds today. Once again more important to pick up old blinds before ordering my new ones not caring about time and the Xmas Holiday. Finally after a girl called me to reorder only to tell me they would take 14-21 day to arrive with no guarantee of installation. I cancelled. Called the manager back only to hear him tell me "I bent over backwards to helo you" WRONG!~ bending over backwards would have been communicating with the customer 2 days ago and pushing the order through immediately since this was a in house mistake. I will never again use Lowes. I've been a customer for 40 years and they no longer care about customer satisfaction!

LOWES CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE

It's apparent Lowes' buyers choose attractive products. That is the bait that kept my patronage, and it works as long as there are no problems. But when there are problems, Lowes has the worst ever customer service. This is not limited to one incident -- every time I have to deal with Lowes customer service, it's a bad experience. When I bought a refrigerator, the delivery man cut the grounding prong off the plug. When he came to resolve the problem, he left a deep scratch on the stainless steel door (which was never resolved). When I ordered a garden statue, it arrived broken due to inadequate packaging . I attempted to order a garden shed, but Lowes' staff were inconsistent when presenting specifications, so I took my business elsewhere. After a natural disaster in my area, I ordered a water heater and installation, but at the last minute Lowes did not follow through in this emergency situation. Then when they closed the Lowes in my town, that morning some of their employees were in front of the store, blindsided, because they weren't even told! This tells something about the company's ethic. My advice to anyone shopping at Lowes, only buy it if you can see it and take it with you. Do not order anything sight unseen, do not depend on their services, and do not order off the website. They are not dependable and not customer focused.

Bought and Paid for Carpet and Wood Floors for 5 rooms $4,000.00 on 11/2/14 Picked up wood floors so they could sit 72 hours for installation. Finding out he was coming on 15th then he gets to house sees its not prego tells me its defective an hour later need to go to store and fight for wood flooring for same price. Now we are on 16th only 1 room done. Says he will be back in on Mon to finish My carpet guys were suppose to be here monday he cancelled them until tomorrow. So I still have no flooring done and no one is in my house now working its almost 11 a.m. on Monday. I called corporate office they do not care. I will never use Lowes for Anything again. They are terrible.

This bank handles CREDIT cards for hundreds of stores & the stores are just as guilty as the "EVIL CORPORATIONS" they use to manage there credit cards.

If you have a credit card with a store that uses this bank you need to look & see if you have been charged illegally. My wife and i have spent several thousand dollars with lowes in the last few months. Our first purchase was a $2500 refrigerator. It was damaged being unloaded . The second was a $500 storm door which was installed improperly. When someone finally came to fix it a month later he was rude as *** to my wife and repaired the paint (which was scraped off because of the improper installation) with a bottle of freaking white out. The third purchase was a washer and dryer set ( $1200 ). The first dryer was defected and the second was (wait for it)damaged being unloaded. Im completely over Lowes. I purchase from them because they are local and I try to keep my money where i live. Customer service is a dying art. I will pay more money for good customer service and a good experience. Lowes doesnt fit that bill.

Resolved: Lowes in Hanover, Pennsylvania - *** Job On Doors and Storm Door Order

This is the second incident with our local Lowes in PA. This time it concerned two inside doors and two storm doors. It took close to five weeks for delivery because they were a special order. When the doors arrived at Lowes we had to delay installation for two weeks because of a sewer pipe out front. When the new date arrived for the doors to be installed, the installers found the dimensions to be all wrong, in both height and width. At first I thought it was the sales person, then the door manufacturer. How can dimensions be that far off? The doors are costing over $4,000 and yet no one could had checked the measurements of the doors in the two week prior to our install date while they sat in the warehouse? No one from Lowes has called us with an explanation. The only person that apologized was the installer? Not sure who is the culprit here, but we are about done with Lowes for good.

At the end of this deal... no one from either Lowes or the Door Installers did a follow-up call.

The door installers did a great job except for a molding stripe they cut off to much, then replaced it with molding that did not even come close to the original shape and took take one guy two days to cut a five or six inch molding strip. was this a new guy?

After this... neither Lowes or the business that installed the doors will be ever used again for home installation at our house.

This is the second time we were to have our doors installed, four weeks later than agreed on, and no one has shown up at our 9:00 am appointment. No phone call, no nothing.

We will never pay through a credit card again, nor will we pay in full. Lowes never called to apologized either.
