Lowes in Staten Island, New York - Bad service

Details
Paid close to 19,000. For roofing, gutters, soffits and fasia. Start date was changed a three day job turn into 3 weeks. They didn’t finish . Left holes where they weren’t any before didn’t do the soffits, put in 3 gutters. They were schedule to do 4. Took piece of the outside trim off and didn’t replace. Came back still only did part of the soffits patched up one hole left another with left over vinyl. Customer service sucks. Says same people have to come back because they were contracted. I told them they had a chance to correct issues. Drip vinyl installed around the edge of the roof was not nailed. Falling off when it’s windy what do I ? Took loan against pension for this I paid cash.

I've been waiting two weeks for an associate to call me back with an estimate for an installation. I can't get hold of anyone. This store is so bad they don't even answer the store phone. I even tried to call during the day at 10:30am and 2:30pm, you figure someone would be available during those times. Nope, just rings and rings. I contacted the corporate office to complain and they said the store manager would call me back in 24 hours and it's now been 3 days. Also, when you go in the store there is never anyone in the isles for assistance. You're pretty much on your own.

If it's that hard to get an estimate so the can make the sale, just think how long it will take to get someone to do the work after they have your money.

I have been waiting a year to get a storm door replaced.... after blasting Lowe's on Facebook a representative called me. Immediately he set up a time for an installer to come out. Although the installer canceled twice....he finally arrive Saturday morning three weeks later without my door...... with only instructions to repair my door not....replace my door. It really isn't this installers fault...he was only following information he was given by a very inefficient customer service. I am so disillusioned with Lowe's...... Everyone is now passing the buck. Come on Lowes....all I want is what I paid for!!!!

regarding claim #17582376on flooring that i purchased and was also installed thru lowes , here in sedalia , mo.65301...for several months i've been getting the run around , and thru Armstrong , they told me they had all the info they had needed , and had this lowes store deduct what was charged it it, and that this lowes store was to refund my money i spent.. the people here at lowes , keep telling me different . i need this to be resolved quickly..please work this out . We had Lowe's put in our flooring ..In livening room,dinning room and hallway ...I have had to call them over 20 times ..They sent out two diff guys to fix the floor in over 5 months...still the flooring is not fixed and one guy cut *** in my kitchen floor the size of a dime...When I said something to him ,he said its not that bad ..What the heck ,It's my floor....Then he puts caulking over it .....I'm like what have you done ..he says he will cover it and no one will see it..REALLY !!! This is the kind of back wards work Lowes is ok with !!!!!!!??? Now I have called the main office and talked to the store mgn...NOTHING...Come on 5 months and only 2 times that store has called me ,with lies all lies ..we will send someone out to fix the floor..noone has fixed it in 5 months ... Time for a lawyer!

We have had very bad experience with canyon country Lowes location. we went to store on 11/9/2015 and ordered 1 blind, 2 roman shades and 2 solar shades. it cost us about $2350. thy said first they will send somebody to measure the windows. after a week the measurement guy came to our house but did not have required equipment (ladder) to measure the windows. sent another contractor and he measured the window sizes so we went and order all window treatments, after 2 weeks items arrived and contractor came to install only with 2 items out of 5 and those were wrong size. We contacted Lowes, they corrected it and installer came back and installed 3 other blinds while they are waiting to receive those 2 wrong size items. 2 of those 3 blinds where wring type too also installer throw away our old blinds. we contacted Lowes and they told us they will order correct items again and we did not hear from them until today (12/18/2015) which we call them. Sadly they never corrected the ordered and never ordered new blinds. they did not have no idea about any order and delivery estimate. I wanted to cut the lost and cancel all order but the lady said you can't. we don't reimburse because we already installed 2 (wrong type) blinds and thats your problem if our installer throw away your old blinds. and BTW even if he did not throw them away I cannot put them back myself, that's why I paid $900 to Lowes only for installation. Make it short, we made sure that they order the items correctly this time over the phone but nobody has any idea when vendor will send the stuff, they don't even give us any estimate. I'm sure it won't be done this year. Your company mismanagement created a awkward holiday for my family. they still cannot give us estimate, they said oh it's only delay but we will do it eventually. I cannot believe it, after 2 months we are still at point 0 and we cannot even cancel and return to normal life. I'll never go to any Lowes store in my life. if you cannot do business get out and close your store.

Four months ago I hired Lowes to install windows at my residence. The windows are still unfinished as of today. Four months ago I hired Lowes to install windows at my residence. The windows are still unfinished as of today. The installer came by on the date agreed to and installed the windows but not the metal exterior trim, saying you did not want that done. Of course I wanted it done, that is what I paid for! That was 4 months ago, I keep getting promised that it will be completed in two weeks. Every two weeks there is an "issue" as to why it can't be completed that day. Whn I ask why they can't finish my windows the very next day or day(s) I'm told that the schedule won't allow it and it will be another two weeks. Store manager won't move my date up on their schedule, I called corporate to make a complaint and was assured it would be resolved and I would be contacted in 24 hours. Four days later I called to find out what the status was, and was told the store closed it out (E. Peoria, Illinois) as I "agreed" to their resolution. They never called me, and now I've lost all faith that my windows will be completed as my "agreement" was a complete lie. I'd prefer not to have to sue over this but here I am 4 months later with a project that has been fully paid for there is no sight of it being completed.

The worst service in my whole life I'm still waiting for the installer to install my door Was removed by his assistant it is 400 promised to be here at 9 I changed my mind I don't remodel my kitchen with these people It was a complete frustration since begginer and still going on No door so ever The technician installer who knows Maybe he is coming Tido g a donkey The assistant taking a nap in his van and without doors Worse service in town Thanks God I didn't sign contract to remodel my kitchen I'll tell my neighbors who are waiting for my experience with lowes in Hialeah to change their doors Very frustrated

Nightmare started in October of 2014 and now June 2015 and waiting for 2 doors to be reinstalled which was totally unacceptable according to them..Did not measure door jam first time!!! But shoved them in anyway..Gaps all in doors and hubby had to put paper this winter to prevent cold air from coming in !

Installers are dumbest Ive ever seen..Imagine a big company like Lowes Home Improvement hiring such impotent people!!

They have been out twice with wrong door, not enough doors, can't they read an invoice?? Today, they called and truck broke down...nightmare continues!!!

. I have had issues with the dishwasher from the date of installation. I was not informed when I purchased the dishwasher that it did not have an element to dry the dishwasher. It has a fan that air dries the dishwasher. Your hot water must be turned up all the way to create enough steam to dry the dishes and then when it cycles to leave the door open. This does not seem energy efficient to me. I had a service call prior to the warranty ending due to not cycling, nor the soap dispenser not opening and the repairman was able to fix the dishwasher under warranty. Now the dishwasher is doing the same thing. I called Samsung first and they informed me that they showed no service on the dishwasher and there was nothing that they could do to help me. I was extremely frustrated because I spent $697 on the dishwasher. I went into the Lowes store and the gentleman told me to call the Lowes Customer Service. I was informed by a Representative that I would have to pay for parts and service for a dishwasher that has not worked for 2 months. I am extremely disappointed that Lowes does not stand behind the products that they sell and service.

how hard is it to do some research before you make an appliance purchase? IF you would have done any research at all, you could have known about these issues and purchased another dishwasher!

It is NOT the responsibility of a retail store to stand behind the product. It IS the responsibility of the manufacturer to stand behind their product and warranty. You should be complaining about Samsung rather than Lowes.
