I purchased a set of LG washer and cleaner on 5/30/2018. I filed online. They send me a request to resubmit in Aug. I sent the receipt. The web site display processing since 8/6/2018. Now it is 1/20/2019. I have not received it ye.

Lowes rebate program is a scam

on November 11, 2018, we purchased a washer and dryer combo that exceeded their $396 per appliance rebate price. Sent all purchase materials to their rebate center on Nov. 12, clearly showing the appliances and purchase price on the receipt. Received a letter today Dec 26 that sales receipt did not indicate the purchase of two or more appliances for $396 or more. WRONG, the receipt clearly showed the purchases. Lowes rebate center says I must resubmit receipt prior to Dec 31. So they sat on my rebate until the last minute, before sending the scam letter, knowing a resubmission will probably never get to them by Dec 31, so now they have another bogus reason to not pay the rebate. Glad I only purchased two appliances, so I only lost $75. Shame on you Lowes for treating customers this way

Lowes in Augusta, Georgia - Purchased a Washer/Dryer with a promised rebate.

I purchased a washer and dryer in November during a rebate promotion. I submitted the documents the very next day. Lowe's can plainly see in their own system that my purchase met all the requirements for the promotion, which was a $100 Lowe's gift card, which I was planning to use for my holiday shopping. My rebate was denied, even though I met all the requirements and provided every last minutia of detail on everything I submitted them. Every time I contact them by phone (per their denial letter), I am sent through a looping robot call. I give up. Emails render no response. Calls are non-human and never result in anything. Everything is always "closed." Do not get suckered by Lowe's mail in rebates. If it isn't at the register, then it isn't going to happen. It's a lie, and I have no idea how this company doesn't get pounded by government regulations. It's wrong and my business will no longer ever be taken inside a single Lowe's store again. If they are willing to lose thousands of future dollars over a $100 gift card they promised me, then so be it. This company has lost its way.

On 11/14/2018 we purchased a Samsung washer/dryer based upon a sign offering a $75 lowes store Gift card AND $200 rebate provided we bought the 4-piece bundle (washer/dryer/2 pedestals). Promo sign was very clear in its come-on and we paid for the "bundle".

The next day we submitted the rebate receipt. January 1, 2019 we still have nothing. A phone call to the rebate department yesterday confirmed their receipt of the rebate request and stated that a $75 gift card was approved and being processed. "Victor" stated that we did not qualify for the $200 rebate.

His English was so poor i really could not understand him. He said the advertisement of the rebates on the sign was meaningless.

Where I come this called "fraud in the inducement" and is illegal. I will follow up with a Consumer Protection agency.

Agreed. It’s false advertisement and Lowe’s SHOULD be held accountable. They are a very dirty company with a happy little store front.

Lowes in Big Rapids, Michigan - Told by Salesman to purchase wrong appliances

On Sept 30, 2018 my husband and I purchased 5,500.00 of GE appliances, from the Lowe's store in Big Rapids, MI. We purchases a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and microwave. We only purchased the GE brand because the salesman told us that we would get a 500.00 rebate from Lowe's. He gave us the rebate form to send in with a copy of the receipt. I sent it in Oct 8th and it was received Oct 16th. I am now told it is only on GE Cafe Appliances. I feel we were scammed. We were talked into more expensive appliances because of the promise of a rebate. I also never would have purchased GE except fore the promise. I was always a fan of the LG appliances. How is a customer to know the differences of a cafe appliance?

Always read the fine print, no matter what the salesman told you, the rebate form tells you what specifically is eligible for a rebate. In the future you would be wise to never trust a salesman, get it in writing, and vilidate his claims. It is called “buyer beware”, and by law, it is the responsibility of the buyer.

Purchased dishwasher, microwave and range from Zubiah (customer rep at store) at Lowe's in West Sacramento, California. He told my parents and I, they will receive a rebate for the amount of $150.00. Previously we checked the Lowe's Rebate Center and all it stated was processing. Finally today it states the amount of $75.00 dollars. We spend over the amount in order to receive the rebate. My question is where the *** is the second $75.00 dollars? Why all the lies? Lowe's customer service representatives lie to sell their products, and give false information to their customers. Why doesn't Lowe's indicate the amount of the rebate on the receipt, so customers immediately have a chance to go through with their orders or cancel it there. It only states that rebate can be from $15-$600 dollars, WTF. We will never shop at Lowe's again.

Lowes did not honor appliance rebates

Purchased 6 NEW appliances from Lowes, and was issued two rebate forms, by staff. The total amount of rebates amounted to $500.00 (a significant amount that attributed to my decision to make the purchase). Forms were completed and mailed in. Didn't hear anything for a month. Checked rebate status online. Message read: "Your rebate request did not meet the following requirement of the offer: Your sales receipt did not indicate the purchase of two or more eligible appliances at Lowe's Submit missing/invalid items to the following address as soon as possible. Include your tracking number on your documents." I NEVER received anything about being in non-compliance. Resubmitted the forms (previously had saved copies), with receipts as well as a typed letter. Another month, and NO response. Checked rebate status online, and it was not changed. Responded to local store. Spoke with Customer Service who contacted Corporate and the Rebate division. Was told that my purchase was in compliance, however due to being months later, I was no longer eligible. Spoke with store manager. He concurred, however stated that he wouldn't be able to do anything without a post office receipt showing that I mailed the rebate forms. He was advised that the proof is in their system (was received and purchases made). I provided copies of everything except post office receipt. They sent me packing after I lost my temper, calling them thieves. Now I am digging around, trying to find this post office receipt!

I had two rebates, I should have received. One for $500 and another was $900 and they screwed me out of both of them. Had a whole house of appliances (8) we bought online that showed they qualified for the rebates and they verified that they did. That wasn't the problem. Every time I had something wrong. I called them 7 times over a course of 5 months trying to get them the "right information". The last time I called I got the rebates had expired and I didn't have the store number on it was the reason it got reject the last time (seriously that was on the initial submittal) and the top manager admitted that things weren't adding up after looking at past calls. Said he would call me back and never did. Their excuse was that I hadn't submitted everything all together at the same time. How many hoops does one have to jump through. After, I think it was the 4th time I called they actually had connected with Lowes directly and they put an invoice together and emailed it to me so I could send it to the Lowes "rebate center". But that got rejected(THEY PUT THE INVOICE TOGETHER)….. because it didn't have the store number. A complete scam they got going there, if you buy stuff online that has rebates.

If you in fact did qualify for your rebate, take it into the store. They can admin override and call the rebate center.

It will still take 5-6 weeks for the Gift Card to come, but you should get it. The only hang up is, the manager that calls has to have the "reference/denial" code that comes in the mail.

Samsung Appliance Great - Lowes Rebates Team horrible

Bought a refrigerator that was too big for kitchen so when to Torrington store to return it and order a counter depth. Tom was great helped with new range and microwave and told me we would get a $200 rebate after refrigerator came in and old one returned. tried to process rebate online and was past date. Call Lowes customer care who said I can get rebate - just mail it in - Raleigh from customer care. Then got post card saying it was postmarked too late. 1 hr on the phone between rebate and customer care to be told I would only get $50 dollar rebate since microwave was twenty bucks short of $396 amount to count as third appliance. What a cluster. Horrible rebate service Ken

Lowes - False Advertising

4th of July ad stated purchase a John Deere lawn tractor and receive a $200 gift card by rebate. The sale was from 6/28 through 7/9 2018. I purchased a lawn tractor on 7/9/18 and did not see a qualifying date of 7/4 on the rebate form until after the purchase. I went ahead and submitted the rebate form and received notice that the date on my sales receipt did not qualify!! I have been a Lowes customer for many years and I am very upset at this situation. If Lowes continues to advertise one thing and then switches to another, this is definitely a "bait and switch". Needless to say, I am extremely upset by this. I expect some resolution to this.
