Lowes in East Lansing, Michigan - 4th of July Paint Rebate--never happened

Submitted $15 paint rebate--followed up after 6 weeks when I didn't hear anything. Re-submitted receipts and still nothing. It's NOVEMBER and I just checked--denied. My purchase clearly qualified (two gallons of paint for 23.98 each) looking at the receipt I am still holding.

Lowes - Don't Shop Here

Bought a washer/dryer pair at Greeneville TN store on 10/22/19. There was a sign there for a $50 rebate on washer/dryer pairs. I did not receive a rebate slip when I paid for the merchandise. I went back to the store on 10/24/19 to request the rebate slip. The sign was gone and the sales associate denied every seeing one. When I call the customer service number, the operator hung up on me. This is customer service??????

The week after posting my review, I received a $50 Lowes gift card. The process I went through to get whatever I was owed was absolutely ridiculous.

It is, of course, meant to frustrate consumers into giving up and moving on.

I had to call FTC and make a claim. Then when I contacted Lowes to tell them what I did, I received a very unfriendly email back with more BS.

Then in 2 days my rebate was completed (amazing).

But then it took them 2 more weeks to get it to me. If anyone has the same...

You can file a complaint with the FTC at www.ftc.gov/complaint. If you do a search you will find that the FTC has fined companies for not paying or paying rebates late. also file a complaint with your states attorney general

Lowes in Cantonment, Florida - Rebate Expired

I purchased just under $800.00 worth of paint from Lowe's because of the rebate. There were other paint stores having sales, but the rebate was the better deal percentage-wise on the purchase. I went online to get my rebate, only to find out the rebate had expired before I could redeem it. 30 days is not long enough to claim a rebate, when most organizations provide 90 days. Next time, I'll buy elsewhere to get a direct discount, even if is less than what is offered at Lowe's.

Why isn't 30 days long enough to claim a rebate? If you hadn't bothered to claim it within 30 days you would probably have forgotten about it after 90 days and still complained. Not their fault you are a procrastinator and couldn't file your rebate in a timely manner.

I submitted a rebate for a July purchase. it is now 3 weeks past the allotted time then told me it would take to process. I called and was told it is still in process. They could not tell me when it would be sent but the supervisor just kept saying i am sorry and i understand. That is great but it did not give me any more information regarding my rebate! Poor communication!

Details
Samsung 10% appliance rebate was approved for over $400 11 weeks ago and they still haven't sent out the VISA prepaid card. They claim that the rebate was so popular that they are running behind on sending them out but I wonder if the fact that Sept is the end of the fiscal year has anything to do with it. I've called once a week for the last 3 weeks and every time it's the same response, "you should get it by the end of the week".

Rebate never received, but Lowe’s claimed it was used and spent. I purchased a $2500 John Deere lawn mower with the entire intent of using the $250 rebate on a bagger for the mower. There were other promotions, such as a trailer, but I waited for the rebate offer because I wanted a bagger. They can give very little info on the gift card except it was sent to my address 8/20 and used in Blaine on 8/25. I have store much closer and would not go to Blaine. 240.50 was used, which seems very intentional, as they would never have to provide any info. Lowe’s will do NOTHING. Several phone calls I have made with false promises. I am out $250!.

I called Lowe’s and spoke to one person who in turn transferred me to another person who in turn transferred me to your rebate robot that will not allow anyone to speak to a living person. For purchasing the four items I was to receive $100 rebate but only receive $50 gift card.
