My husband ordered a stand for his Dewalt saw, and instead they sent a garage door opener. He called the company and they sent him a return label... for UPS. We live on the Sunshine Coast of BC (NOT THE ISLAND), and there is no drop off for UPS residential parcels. We were therefore going to be charged for them to pick it up from our house. Look it up on UPS, the closest point is in Vancouver. Customer service wouldn't listen and just assumed we were on Vancouver Island and said there was a drop off point nearby. I have to take a ferry to get to the nearest drop off point, which would be around $80 and take most of my day. Not impressed.

Lowes in Papillion, Nebraska - What a joke

Don’t bother with Heartland Sheds. Ordered one and had to wait 3 weeks for it. The day before install they canceled. Now they want me to wait another 2 weeks. This shed was paid in full and they don’t think we matter. Don’t give them any business!!!!!

Order waterproof vinyl flooring at a Lowe's on Niagara falls Blvd. Amherst NY. Never received a call about the order for 9 days called left several messages to no avail. On the 12th day had to drive to Lowes and spoke a manager Rick who told me my order was in and has been in for days. The customer service at Lowes in Amherst NY is awful and young lady in flooring has terrible customer service skills and need to be retrained in the proper way to help customers. I spent a lot of money for the flooring and will I ever spend money at Lowes again NO.

They got you to come back to the store. The young lady in flooring actually did exactly what she was trained by Lowe's to do.

It's all about getting as many customers as possible to make as many trips as possible to the store. Figure it out.

Completely false. Lowe's although does track customer traffic, it values quality customer interactions far greater then overall traffic metrics.

When it comes to a natural disaster you would think a store of this magnitude would have it covered. Hurricane Irma was a big one. So everyone was preparing. We had never been in need of a generator, but this go around I was like hey why not, just in case. So I was researching generators on 9.4-9.5 finally decided on 9.5.17 to order a 3800 Champion item#719355 model#76533. There were 3 options FREE Shipping to home or pick up in store on 9.11.17 and an option just for FREE SHIPPING. I chose FREE SHIPPING thinking if i order today the latest would be 9.9, 9.10. So, Order was placed with no issues, red flags or messages. Ckd the status the next day "unknown" also on 9.7. On 9.8 I received an email stating my order was "delayed shipping" and would not be shipped until 9.11.17. Which I couldn't do anything about and as long it was still being shipped eased my mind. THEN on 9.9.17 I received another email stating ORDER#675971510 (which isn't my order#) was cancelled!! 9.9.17 you notify me AND tied up my money to even think of getting anything else. I was livid! So we were lost. Hoping power wouldn't be out for long, BUT our power was out from Sunday night to Wednesday night. We lost all of our refrigerated foods and had to buy extras -candles, flashlights, fans etc- that weren't necesseties IF we had a generator. So not only did you and still, charge my cc that has am undelivered generator on there with no refund/cancellation, I also have loss of funds for things unnecesseray AND I will be paying interest on something I never received! The measley 100.00 giftcard that they compensated doesnt even touch any of my losses. Loss of sweat for having a hot house, loss of 200.00+ refridgerated food, loss of funds spent on unnecessary items that a generator could have provided. For a family of 5, 3 kids from 4-13, it was a rough time. And as of 9.20.17, weeks later, still no refund/cancellation.

If It was me, I would have bought one from a store that had them in stock and I could have taken it home. That way I wouldn't have had to worry about any delays in shipment. You knew bad weather was coming which in itself had a potential to delay shipments.

This was not about the generator. The rant was a timeline of events, that is still going.

Ordered generator with no issues and debited account on 9.5.17..rcvd cancellation email on 9.9.17. As of 9.21.17 still no refund.

SO they still have 500.00+ of mine that has not been available for 2 weeks and no fault of mine. Sorry, you may have that lying around as a loan but some people don't.

Last night I ordered 35 bags of garden soil because online they showed to be in stock. They notified me that the order was cancelled because they did not have stock, even though the website shows there is more than enough for my order. My frustration is because while they cancelled the order, they did not issue an immediate refund. I need to purchase somewhere else but am in limbo because I must wait for the funds to be reinstated to my account. I don't complain often but think this is inexcusable. I needed the soil now, not at some undetermined time. They did not seem to care about the inconvenience. I do not understand.

What kind of soil did you buy that 35 bags cost $300? Also, if $300 put you outside of your limit then you probably shouldn't be wasting money on dirt.

Unfortunately computers don't go out and look at the shelf to see whats there. You will get your full refund, it's just that credit card companies are always slower at processing refunds than they are sales.

To start off I have to say that Lowes has the absolute worst customer service that I have ever experienced! I bought a dishwasher, fridge, stove and microwave on July 22nd (Thursday) was told the delivery date of the following Tuesday so I took off work to be there for them to deliver they never showed up never called or nothing. So called the delivery number to sit on hold for and hour for them to tell me they have to reschedule because they didn't have my stove in the warehouse so they rescheduled for that Wednesday, then got an automated call that night after talking with them saying it was rescheduled again. This has happened 6 or 7 times two of them me missing a days work! For two weeks I called the delivery hub, had to sit on hold EACH time for 30 mins to an hour, then got transferred to managers that would give me the run around and say they would call me back and never did! This matter got escalated to corporate as an emergency and everyday was told within 24 hrs I would be called back by Corporate, for them to never call! Then finally Ashley(Manager over delivery hub) left a voicemail saying they have all of my items and it would be delivered on Thursday again took off work to be there and they bring everything but the stove. But they send me an email saying all items were delivered so Once again called and sit on the phone for another hour for Joe to tell me that the warehouse didn't put the item on the truck so rescheduled for Saturday at 8 am. They never showed up, never called nothing. So call back that day sit on hold once again for over an hour to be told they never put the delivery in the system all the way and that he would find out what was going on and call me back and,once again esculated it to Corp to be contacted. I waited 2 days he never called and neither did Corp! So this past Sunday I go into the store and Dan the associate that helped me the day I bought the items called them to find out what was going on and I had to stand there for your and half for them to tell them they don't have my stove, that they would have to order it and it would be another WEEK before my stove would be in the warehouse. So Dan(sales associate) goes above and beyond and starts calling stores to find out that a store less than 20 miles has one. So he calls them ask them to hold it and calls a manager over to help get me my stove. So then Jeff and Eli(Store Managers) come over and schedule my stove to be delivered on Tuesday(today) so again I leave work early they never showed up never called!! Call the store talk to Eli and he said it didn't get put on the truck and so I would have to wait yet another day and *** early again for them to probably not show up once again. I ask where the responsibility falls on all of these Employees from Managers at the store, to delivery drivers to delivery managers all the way up to Corporate and no one can answer me to who this falls on all I get is excuses and lies and these people still have a job!! To me Corp is supposed to be the one that you go to when you can't get things done the way they are supposed to, but its sad when you can't even rely on Corp to even return a phone call!!! That's ok cause if my stove isn't here at 10 in the morning Channel 9 news will be called!! I will never buy another thing from Lowes! I would rather pay a thousand dollars more and go to Home Depot or Best buy!!!! LOWES SHOULD BE ASHAMED THAT THIS IS WHAT THEY CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE..

After many no shows and many many calls they delivered my appliances and gave me a discount for all the trouble. Wouldn't order anything else from them that has to be delivered. I learned my lesson.

read an add in Phila. local newspaper for a ceiling fan. no store in Phila. Pa. area had it in stock. ordered it online on July 29 it was to here on July 9. on July 2 I was told it be here on July 12. I called customer service and was told they would ship it from another location and it would be here on July 13. on July 13 received email that said it may ship on July 17. I found this item in stores in other areas but customer service reps said they can not ship from these stores to me. I guess customer service stops at state boarders. so on July 14 I will be closing my account with Lowes.

Received an item that was missing half of it in the Box. Called 3 times to corporate who I was told had to handle it. Said 3 times someone would get back to me and nobody did. Call again and get a supervisor who was completely useless as well. Told me to deal with my local store who doesnt stock the item. Lowes is one of the worst with customer service possible. Had no cares at all about the issue at hand. Will not shop them again, better off at Home Depot or any other local store than dealing with Lowes and their lack of help

I order a set of appliances (all matching) online, got the extended warranty for them and everything was good to go. My online order showed "PROCESSING" and I was waiting for a call for confirm delivery. A week later I get a call from one of the stores stating they were out of stock but she would find me a replacement somewhere and that Lowes would "make this right" for me. She was supposed to return my call later that day but never called. I waited a couple of days to give them time to "make this right" but never heard anything back so I called and was told the order was cancelled because it was out of stock. WTF!? So she cancelled my order and did not tell me??? I was so mad I called the main Lowes customer service to complain and found out my other items were marked as DELIVERED! WTFx2!? I never got a call to confirm a scheduled delivery time and no one had been out to the house. I asked if they had a signature of where I signed for the delivery and I was told they would have to call me back. I never got a call back so the next day I called the main customer service again. This time I was told the other items were not delivered but were out of stock. ~SIGH~ You know what, just cancel EVERYTHING and give me my money back. i was told yes, we will do that but it will take 10 days to do a credit. WTFx3!? It didn't take 10 days to charge my card! I get a call back the next day from the store telling me they are having problems issuing me a credit and they need my credit card number, three digit code and zipcode. WTFx4!?!?!?!?! So I called the credit card company and have disputed the charges. There is always an issue when I do business with Lowes, ALWAYS!!! I'm going to shop at Home Depot from now on. This *** NEVER happens with them, least not to me.

Lowes - Shipping Service Review

I purchased a stove,washer, dryer and refrigerator. This was a month ago I have bed trying to get the refrigerator over a month. When the refrigerator came in to lowes one of the service rep. Call me and said the refrigerator had dents would I accept for ten percent off I said no I didn't want a refrigerator with dents it's was on a Saturday . I called lowes three days later thought he had ordered me another refrigerator later on when I spoke with the manager he had not. Jeff the manager said he would Oder a refrigerator, when he order a refrigerator he said there was dents in the one he ordered. Then he order a refrigerator and was sent to me it was a black refrigerator not stainless steel. Whereas the wrong refrigerator was ordered. Finally Jeff said he had ordered the stainless steel refrigerator and it would be delivered on Thursday 4/20 delivere time would be 6pm to 9pm I waited and called the delivered company the rep. Kept saying the deliver men would be to my home to bring the refrigerator they never came. I called the delver company again the rep stated the would not be able to deliver last night. I called Jeff at the store he said the refrigerator was still in the warehouse . I said thought you said that it was going to be delivered today . Called the deliver company to day several times and they had no record of the refrigerator being delivered today. The manger on duty today he said it was to be delivered today. I have taken food out of my frigerator which I is iced to the top. Goof thawed out. I brougt food thinking I was get my refrigerator. I am kidney patient , I need the refrigerator to keep medicine .
