they just installed my backsplash tile couple months ago incorrectly flooring company came to my house they found something worng and i requested the full replacement and customer service start lie to me after they provide report how they like and they said nothing wrong i know they don't believe this report also and i start the pursuing against the lowes I'm just wory is lowes policy says don't trust us

Purchased floor tile job. Job not completed. Since I was charged labor for materials sold I want a refund for what was not installed. Cant get it. Been over six weeks. Poor job. Tiled in range plug. Installed quarter round when cabinets were not complete. Job was not completed. Mastic on closet doors front door and mat. It has been over six weeks and hours on the phone with no customer service. I have had three people from the executive complaint department and still no help. I keep telling the same story with the same results nothing. I may have to go file charges of theft by deception to get my money back.

Took three months to get them in to do the back splash when it was supposed to be within 3 weeks. The job was horrendous with uneven grout lines, unfinished edges, and tiles not level. The installers also took left over supplies that we purchased with them so we couldn't even attempt to fix it. Took photos to Lowe's and they agreed it was a huge problem and Crystal Garcia (N Myrtle Beach store) said they would offer a refund and a re-do. I agreed, but Lowe's then back pedaled and said no, one or the other. When we ultimately decided we wanted a refund (and would find our own installer to re do it), they disappeared and wouldn't respond to us. It's been 9 months and counting ...

This complaintent needs to realize that it is ilegal to receive more than what they are entitled too... meaning, they may be entitled to a full refund but that is it. For the complaintent to ask for Lowe’s to pay for someone else to do the backsplash at Lowe’s exspense is inappropriate and illegal.

Are they not responsible for returning the wall to the state it was in before they messed it up? Why should I be out additional money to bring in a contractor to take down the tile and repair the wall so a new contractor can do the job the right way?

The value of my loss is the our cost to Lowe's plus the amount it will cost for a contractor to come in and return the wall to its pre-Lowe state so a new tile installer can do a correct job.

purchased and paid $1,496.00 for backsplash August 4th. 2017 - as of today February 7, 2018 still not complete -have to keep my spice rack in front of hole where there is no grout - made a horrible mess with grout all over everything - including driveway - hardwood floors - white porcelain sink doors cabinets granite faucet-tore chunks out of windowsills when removing old backsplash - paid for backerboard -never installed-paid for jolly transition pieces - never installed - paid for moving appliances - we moved them - SERVICE PRO (sub contractor for Lowes - did the work) had to be completely ripped and re-done. will never buy so much of a light bulb again at lowes - customer service is ridiculous - they are rude and condescending - since moving to this area we have spent thousands and thousands of dollars at lowes - but that has come to an end.

keep saying NO until you get what you want - we finally got our settlement today from Lowes - ongoing since August 4. 2017 - will never contract with Lowes again - we will not use ServicePro under any conditions - their POOR workmanship caused this entire problem.

Remember: go to Attorney Generals office for some great and fast service. Lowes Corporate Office told us several times that "case was closed" well as far as I was concerned it wasn't and we kept it up until we won.

update: still waiting but moving ever so slowly to an end: they offered us what we wanted to solve and we agreed to it - they (executive corp. customer service Ala Cockerham) said she could send the check and release to Martinsburg WV store and we would go over and sign and receive check - well now she is saying we need to sign release and THEN they would request check - not going to happen - DO NOT TRUST THEM - AND WE DO NOT WANT STORE CREDIT-called her - e-mailed her - still no communication from her - guess it's time to go back to attorney generals office-FYI - Attorney General's office will bring charges against a company who dupes the public (especially the elderly ).

We had a similar situation and are still waiting for a refund 9 months later. And, of course, they only offered a refund of what we paid them, which means we're out money to remove the horrendous job and patch the wall so a real installer can come in and do it the right way.

don't give up just keep on them - to date they offered us $700.00 and they will clean the grout off our $157.00 faucet and finish the grout that is missing. They are not doing anything about the gouges in the window sill or the mess which we cleaned ourselves.

We contacted the Attorney Generals office and they jumped right on it by sending them notification and I am sure that was part of the reason they upped the amount from $400.00 which we refused , they closed the case. so, bottom line is keep at the CEO of Lowes - we will never buy so much as a $1.00 item there.

My husband and I had tile floors installed in three of our bathrooms in March 2016. Upon completion we noticed several areas where the tile did not meet the wall trim. We also noticed that despite the fact that we paid extra for darker grout and sealer the grout looked much lighter than expected. About a month later a tile in the master bathroom started coming loose and the the grout broke apart. In April 2016 we called regarding this tile. The tile was regrouted and the grout was much darker (like we expected for the extra we paid). Around October 2016 the same tile started coming up and the grout breaking up again. My husband has called several times... about every two months with no call back or resolution. Today I was giving my son a bath and noticed the grout along the tub is now breaking apart and allowing water to our floorboards. So I called our local Lowes (NW Wichta, KS) and asked for a manager. I was informed that the floors were no longer covered and that they would have the same company come out and give me a quote on repairing the tile. (Manager claims they have no record of this, and that is ridiculous and even more unprofessional on their part in my opinion). This is VERY frustrating. We paid good money to have nice new floors and I have been having to cover them with carpets to hide the ugly mismatched grout and broken grout. I would really like to have a resolution to this problem. WITH A DIFFERENT FLOOR COMPANY. I feel that they used below par grout and did a very unprofessional job on our floors.

contact the Attorney Generals Office in your state - they will help you. There are laws against this. take the time and read my posts about our backsplash problems

they used cheap a55 grout and it never got sealed. Bad installation.
