NEVER ORDER FROM Springfield MA,LOWES

Im doing my bathroom renovation and ordered on 24 March 2016 from Lowes the following items, shower base, shower doors and shower head. The expected arrival of the items are on April 08, I received message on April 04 that shower base is available. I went to Springfield Lowes but they cant find the shower base, As per Assistant Store Manager the item is sold to somebody. He reorder the shower tub and he convince us to order more items from their store. We ordered Jacuzzi whirpool bath tub and inline heaters with expected date of 16 April 2016. Received bath tub and inline heater last 14 April but not the shower base and shower door. Today 18 Apr l received a call from Lowes that items are available, but when we went to Lowes the shower base still not available. Never order from lowes!!!!

Lowes in Arlington, Massachusetts - Lowe's Home DYI Store Dedham Mass 02026

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator A week and a half age from this location. It was delivered on 9-11-16. One in a half hour later than the time It was expected between 2-4:00. The new refrigerator has a dent in the front of the door which myself, and the delivery person saw right away. If you buy Appliance's from this store or any other Lowe's store. Make sure you look it over closely. Very disappointed, and angry, that they would let a product go to a customer this way. Not to mention the 1 and a Half hour of how late the delivery was.

BEWARE SHOPPING AT LOWES IN LEOMINSTER IF YOU'RE BLACK OR BROWN

I recently went to Lowes in Leominster to buy some stuff with my 2 kids (pre-schooler and 1st grade). I went to the paint department and as I was looking for some paint brush and stains to buy, I noticed a middle aged white staff member looking in my direction, not asking if I needed help, and when I looked in his direction, he would act all busy trying to fix stuff on the shelf. I went over to the next aisle and this man stopped "fixing stuff on the shelf and stood behind the paint desk. On the next aisle I experienced the same situation this time a middle aged white woman, not bothering to ask if I needed help but..."busy fixing stuff on the shelf with one eye in my direction. I picked out what I needed to headed for the counter, I looked back and saw the two convened together behind the paint counter. I've spent thousands of dollars at this store when I was building my house . To the two associates, I can't change how you look at people who don't look like you but I'll be praying for you.

Did you ever think they might be busy helping customers that are actually in the store making purchases? I bet that if you were in the store working with a salesperson you would rather have them help you than talking to someone on the phone. As the old saying goes--A bird in the hand (a customer in the store) is worth 2 in the bush (people calling on the phone).

I went to the Lowe's in Natick. I paid $35 to have someone come out the house to measure for backsplash and another $35 to have someone come out to measure for appliances. Each time I was told - you will be called in 2 days. Well it has been over 2 weeks and 2 trips to the store to find out why I wasn't called and to get service. All I got was an obnoxious customer service rep named "Joseph" who gave me the run around about speaking to the manager. So I got my money back, but wasted 2 weeks dealing with an unresponsive company that knows little about customer service.

The $35 detail as they call it is a joke.When I purchased my over the range microwave they wanted me to pay $35 just to come out and tell me that it would cost $135 to install the microwave and a bunch more to put in an electrical outlet above the stove, which they wont do but will refer me to an electrician then I can pay them to install the microwave. NO THANKS!

I hired my own electrician to install the outlet and the microwave for less than lowes initial charge.

NEVER HIRE LOWES FOR ANY MEASURING OR INSTALLATION SERVICE, YOU WILL REGRET IT

I work for Lowe's in NC and this is very common with the $35 detail. It is quite a successful little revenue maker for Lowe's Home Improvement because so many customers pay it and then do not get the work/installation done.

Every week I get a call from a customer that says they have not been contacted. We have a division, department , whatever you want to call it that is supposed to "handle" installation services. The last time I called it they told me to call the installer. Customer service associates like me who want to help you the customer get stuck handling it.

Yesterday I handed one to an assistant store manager who called the customer back and asked them to call the installer. Even after multiple, dozens, of calls from customers like yourself that have not been contacted by the same installer, Lowe's continues to use that installer.

Signed a contract in April..was told they were 2-3 weeks out...here we are at the end of July almost 4 months later..roof done poorly. They are coming to inspect it tomorrow. Sometimes they came to work sometimes they didn't show at all after telling us they were coming and asking us to leave the extension cord out for them. They were slobs. Nails everywhere..hundreds..like no tarps at all were put down. They kept telling us they were coming to start the siding. No show 3 days in a row. We finally told them to come get their equipment and siding and dumpster and to get out. We have been so patient and trust me this is the short version to this mess.the contractor lied to us over and over and I think we just kept getting bumped for bigger jobs. It was a total disappointment and I'm crushed. I wanted my house done so bad. Very bad customer service..find another company.

Lowes in Hingham, Massachusetts - Credit/debit card declined for no reason

I tried to use a credit card with plenty of funds available the other day and it was declined Three times--the same thing also happened with my debit card a couple yrs. ago. They could provide No reason for the decline and did not apologize when I went back after I called my credit card co. (and bank) and told them there were indeed sufficient funds available). This co. sucks and I won't be shopping there again. It seems they care little about good business practices and losing customers. Too bad as I like there store but will go to Home Depot (closer to me anyway) instead. I have seen many bad reviews about them (and people who worked there) online.

Lowe's rebate Visa (from Bosch Dishwasher purchase) card was declined at the local restaurant though the card has a plenty of funds. How embarrassing it was!!!!

A dozen of my extended family members got to see all of it.

I have NEVER experienced such with other debit card before... not to mention I have an excellent credit record.

Yes, because we decided that your card, one of 600,000 that get slid a day, is the one we wanted to decline for no reason!

Have you ever worked Retail? EVER?!

When a card is declined we are legally obligated to say nothing, for fear of embarrassing the customer.

All we can do is hand you a phone and dial a 1800 to call for the card.

This is a business, why would we willingly and knowingly keep you from spending your money!

I went into Lowes to buy a refrigerator. I cashed out. After I cashed out I asked for help putting the refrigerator in my car. The store manager was near the front of the store and I asked him for help because no one had come to help after 10 minutes and he said no he was busy. I got upset and kept asking until finally the manager says he would help in a terrible attitude. He slammed my refrigerator in my truck and dented the door in. When I asked for a discount he told me it was my fault. Store manager Rich at the Plainville, Massachusetts store is sooo rude. Don't go here.

That happens when the "management" cannot interrupt his philandering underlings to break off the social workday attitudes long enough to actually "work" (a 4-letter word in Lowes). The people behind the scenes give the appearance of organization while the chain (and I've been to them in many States across this country) is a "clusterhump" (expletives deleted). Boycott 'em!

I ordered a fridge ( paid in full) I was told it will take one week to deliver, and someone will call me prior to the delivery to confirm it ,the week passed and no one called ,so i went to the store to check the status i was told it will take few more days,what's a few days exactly means no one knows when it will be delivered,but the other color of the same item is available for immediate del. 1 to 3 days ,i agreed, then the agent asked me to go the front to make the changes.At my surprise they will not do it unless i bring the original receipt ,i showed them my ID my credit card that i used and could not do it even the store mgr refused to do it without the receipt and you could see my name and address on their system, So i went back home got the receipt and back to the store to get my refund back .I end up going to a local smaller store (new england app.) to purchase te same item for a little more but excellent attitude and costumer service.
