Placed an order for truck delivery for materials to DIY a patio (since I wasn't about to load ~3,000 lbs into my suv by myself) Received a phone call confirming Monday morning delivery, then received the confirmation text message as well. Monday morning, I received the email confirmation that my shipment was out for delivery. When it didn't show up by the end of the delivery window I called to ask where it was. Now they're saying it'll be delivered Tuesday. Absolutely no respect for their customers time. If you commit to a delivery date, get it delivered!

Their delivery service really sucks. I have gone through a similar experience myself.

Completely disregarded Their delivery window TWICE. when we called the lady on the phone was rude on top of it.

Ordered a dryer over the phone and was told it could be delivered the next day and they would call approximately 30 minutes before delivery. My wife was home and had not heard from anybody by 1pm. We called and were told the dryer was not on the truck. We were not called by Lowes or their 3rd party delivery service of this issue. We had hired a plumber to install the dryer as it was a gas dryer and had to cancel. Customer service said to call the store where the dryer was to be shipped from. They were useless and threw the 3rd party delivery service under the bus and could not give a date as to when the dryer would be delivered. After a few more phone calls I got frustrated and cancelled the order. Sent an email to customer service to complain and was given the choice of receiving a phone call or receiving an email response. Thought I might be able to salvage the situation , so I opted for a phone call, The next day I received a canned email reply apologizing, but offering no solutions or compensation. Ended up buying the dryer from Bought the dryer from Home Depot. Delivery took longer, but at least when knew when it was coming.

We ordered patio pavers a week ago and cant seem to get a delivery date. Our online order confirmation says we should have received the order the next day. We have called numerous times only to get disconnected or shuffled around thru numerous different departments with no one having a clue as to what should be done . We have asked repeatedly just to give us a new shipping date, we are finally told the company will call you between these times and set up a delivery time, which never happened. I suggest to Lowes they go back to inhouse shipping. If I could contact someone reliable I would cancel my order and order thru someplace else.

My husband an I bought a dishwasher from Lowe's on January 17, 2017 and were told that we would not get delivery until January 30th. We decided to buy the dishwasher and wait until the 30th. About a week later Lowe's notified us that we would again have to wait until at least the 15th of February, we again agreed to wait. In the meantime, we received a bill from Lowe's credit card which stated the due date for the dishwasher was the 15th of February. We called the Hadley, Massachusetts and spoke to Heather, store manager, and explained that we were not going to pay for something we had yet to receive. What if the merchandise was damaged or did not work when we received it, are we obliged to then again pay for something we did not have? All Heather had to do was cancel the original purchase and have us buy the dishwasher again which would have deferred our bill for another month, but Heather stated there was nothing she could do. We then decided to cancel the order all together. Since then we have bought another dishwasher from Home Depot from a very helpful sales lady. FYI we will be delivered of a new dishwasher on Saturday. Do not buy anything from Lowe's.

Commentor, you didn't seem to get the original poster's message did you Einstein.

Maybe Lowe's is not responsible for the back order, but the customer sure of *** isn't. Lowe's could of remedied the situation by canceling the original order and then re-charging it and they still would of had a had a happy customer.

Delays like this can happen no matter where you buy an appliance that isn't in stock. Stores will order the appliance from the manufacture and provide a due date based on information provided by the manufacturer.

Unfortunately the manufacturers will occasionally backorder an appliance and the store has no clue this is happening until the truck shows up without the appliance.

All this has nothing to do with the credit extended by the credit company that issues Lowes credit cards. In the future purchase in stock appliances if you need them right away.

NEVER ORDER FROM Springfield MA,LOWES

Im doing my bathroom renovation and ordered on 24 March 2016 from Lowes the following items, shower base, shower doors and shower head. The expected arrival of the items are on April 08, I received message on April 04 that shower base is available. I went to Springfield Lowes but they cant find the shower base, As per Assistant Store Manager the item is sold to somebody. He reorder the shower tub and he convince us to order more items from their store. We ordered Jacuzzi whirpool bath tub and inline heaters with expected date of 16 April 2016. Received bath tub and inline heater last 14 April but not the shower base and shower door. Today 18 Apr l received a call from Lowes that items are available, but when we went to Lowes the shower base still not available. Never order from lowes!!!!

I ordered a fridge ( paid in full) I was told it will take one week to deliver, and someone will call me prior to the delivery to confirm it ,the week passed and no one called ,so i went to the store to check the status i was told it will take few more days,what's a few days exactly means no one knows when it will be delivered,but the other color of the same item is available for immediate del. 1 to 3 days ,i agreed, then the agent asked me to go the front to make the changes.At my surprise they will not do it unless i bring the original receipt ,i showed them my ID my credit card that i used and could not do it even the store mgr refused to do it without the receipt and you could see my name and address on their system, So i went back home got the receipt and back to the store to get my refund back .I end up going to a local smaller store (new england app.) to purchase te same item for a little more but excellent attitude and costumer service.

Delivery of Dryer and Attitude Jersey City Lowes

All: I ordered a clothes dryer from Lowes Jersey City NJ in early November. I received 2 calls from the store 1-notifying me that the order had reached their warehouse 2-notifying me that the dryer had reached the store. I was told that I would receive a call to schedule home delivery of the dryer but I never did. Lowes just took it upon themselves to schedule a delivery date and time without consulting me. I received a call from the delivery company notifying me date and timeframe for delivery and I cancelled it since I was not available. The part I am PISSED off about is the fact that I had to call the store to reschedule the delivery and I kept being transferred and put on hold for over 20 minutes as I waited for a so-called manager named Gio who never answered my call. I spoke to a woman named Yvette who gave me an attitude as she explained that she just got on the phone and in my own words it didnt seem to be her issue that I had been on hold. GREAT customer service Lowes jersey city. If you dont want to work there QUIT and go on the unemployment line instead of being mean to your paying customers who keep you EMPLOYED!!!! Finally a girl helped me and was nice as a reaction to my attitude which was stern since the dryer was not FREE! I will never order anything from YOU AGAIN! YOUR LOSS...
