Details
Rebate never received, but Lowe’s claimed it was used and spent. I purchased a $2500 John Deere lawn mower with the entire intent of using the $250 rebate on a bagger for the mower. There were other promotions, such as a trailer, but I waited for the rebate offer because I wanted a bagger. They can give very little info on the gift card except it was sent to my address 8/20 and used in Blaine on 8/25. I have store much closer and would not go to Blaine. 240.50 was used, which seems very intentional, as they would never have to provide any info. Lowe’s will do NOTHING. Several phone calls I have made with false promises. I am out $250!.

Lowes in Minneapolis, Minnesota - Rebate

I have been waiting and watching for my 250.00 rebate/gift card for 6 weeks. Calling and being told it is in the mail. I found on the last call, my gift card has been used and spent, in Louisiana, and I live in Minnesota! Lowe’s is unable to tell what was purchased, but claims I got the gift card. I bought a $2500 John Deere mower with the $250 rebate. My plan was to buy the bagger attachment with the $250. It up is unbelievable that they can have no proof of anything but to tell me the gift card was sent and it was used. I don’t believe it was ever sent. Let me return the mower or make good on the $250 off the bagger attachment.

It's not like you live in a small town. There are plenty of places to get a range.

Other big box stores like Menards could have delivered a range they had in stock the next day. You also have access to appliance stores like Warners' Stellian with a good selection of appliances available for fast delivery.

And you could also rent a truck and take one home if you really need it right now. Get off the internet go to another store and get a range to make your wife happy.

I am unhappy with how the installation dept responded to my report. I wasn't asking for anything. I just thought they would want to know that an installation was not incorrectly. Lowe's didn't want any part of the blame.

What are you going to sue for? They don't make the blinds in the back room of the store.

All they can give you for a due date is what the manufacturer tells them. Nowhere in your complaint do you say that you asked for a refund.

If the delay was so aggravating, most people would ask to cancel the overdue order and have their money refunded. Until you do this and they refuse, you have not lost any money and won't win in court.
