I had Lowes design my kitchen cabinets for a new build. Last week I called to get a date for a measure prior to the install.
I never heard back.
I called Monday and was told the kitchen cabinet person was off work and to call Tues. I called Tuesday and no answer, left a message and no call back. Today I called and was transferred to the Install Service Dept. She was excellent and had an installer call me.
He said he had no openings until November! Yikes. He then proceeded to tell me all the negatives about his job: only two men, no support, etc. I said all I wanted was a measure prior to install.
He said, "Oh, that's different." By that time I was so frustrated! He was too. He said I should work with the other installer. I called back to Installation Services, got a different woman.
She said I'd had an unpleasant conversation with the installer and she would have the other installer call me.
I am not going to work with Lowes anymore !!!! This is incredibly bad.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
Lowes Pros: Variety of products, Kitchen design person was knowledgable.
Lowes Cons: He doesnt get back to you at all.
