HORRIBLE!!! I LIVE IN BAYONNE, NJ THE DELIVERY COMPANY THEY USE IS HORRIBLE, I BOUGHT A WASHER ON THE 9TH OF AUGUST IT WAS FINALLY DELIVERED TODAY!!! HOWEVER THE DELIVER COMPANY JUST LEFT IT ON MY PORCH BECAUSE ALTHOUGH I PAID FOR INSTALLATION AND HAUL AWAY OF THE MY BROKEN MACHINE...THEY DID NOT WANT TO CARRY IT UP MY STAIRS!!! THIS HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE, BETWEEN POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, CORPORATE BEING CLUELESS AND THIS DELIVERY COMPANY ..I WILL NEVER SHOP AT LOWES AGAIN!THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!! AND MY WASHER WAS DAMAGED DURING DELIVERY! I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS

Lowes in Mays Landing, New Jersey - Master Forge Outdoor Kitchen Grill

I've called Lowes over 4 times and sent numerous e-mails to Master Forge without ONE call or e mail back to ask for help in replacing the piece of garbage 2,200.00 outdoor kitchen thats falling apart over the last 14 months. NO HELP FROM LOWES other than to tell ME to go to their website and get help from Master Forge. I told the Lowes representative that this doesn't make sense... "You're telling me, the customer, who paid you over $2,000.00, to contact the manufacturer as a consumer, when you, LOWES, should be doing this and its one of YOUR vendors??? I'm done with both companies, and not that it will matter to them, because they're too big and powerful. Hopefully some readers will see this and read it and know that neither one of these companies stands behind their product, and now I have to suffer for their poor consumer standards for helping the customer.

Just went to the Voorhees NJ store to pay my bill. service desk had 2 women working and one just sat on the phone doing nothing. I waited 12 minutes and walked out. the people behind me did the same. Get yourself a new manager to run the store. This wasnt the first time. Btw- not one manned checkout open-only the the help yourself at the end. Millions of dollars in store costs and not 1 person to take your money. Explain to me how that works in business?????????? bad business bad business bad business bad business bad business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How to run a business into the ground. time to go to the Home Depot!

Delivery of Samsung refrigerator from Lowes

I will never buy another appliance from Lowes. Bought a refrigerator in June and the first one came in dented, second one dented but believe it or not, the 3rd one was ok. Hate their delivery. The head guy had an attitude. Took of the hinges of front door for clearance and also the door stop. Put the hinges on dining room chair and after then left, I noticed black grease on the upholstery. The door stop was never put back. Tried to start the ice maker but they had never turned on the water connection. Had to pull out the frig and turn the valve for the water on. I would rather pay more for an appliance and buy from a reputable store. Never again…..Lowes.

FENCE INSTALLATION DONE BY LAZY UNPROFESSIONAL LOWES

I just used Lowes to install my vinyl fence. Nothing was done correctly. This is just a very small example of the unprofessional way my fence was put up. Wrong fenced delivery twice and then on the installation day the wrong posts were delivered. The fence was not level (had to tell him to level it), dirt all in the grass and big gaps on the fence line and the best part, THEY PUT FAST DRYING CEMENT IN THE POST HOLES AND DID NOT ADD ANY WATER THEY ARE WAITING FOR IT TO RAIN. so now I will have just chunks of cement as it rained but just a little. Would you install a fence at your house like that Lowes? A very Lazy not professional work done by the Lowes in Holmdel, NJ. Sorry I ever called them.

I bought over $3,000 worth of appliances and chuck b. Was super helpful and friendly on the other hand when i went to pay,the guy at customer service Tony the lead checker had a very bad attitude,we said we wanted our rebate through the mail but without asking he put it through email,we asked him to fix it but he refused and said he could not do anything to help us.so we went back to chuck b and he took care of us.later i went back to tony and when i asked for his name, he covered his name tag and gave me a false name,r olled his eyes and walked away. but i already had read his first name. No one should be treated like that his customer service sucks

Lowes in Jackson, New Jersey - Cali Bamboo Flooring

I purchased Cali Bamboo Flooring in May 2015. When the installer came, he told me that the moisture level in the floor was to high and that I needed to have the floor sealed. It cost nearly an additional $1000.00 to seal the concrete floor. I had the floor sealed by the installers and they proceeded to install the wood flooring. After 6 months all of the wood boards are cupping and Lowes is refusing to make good for the floors. I would never recommend them for anything as they do not stand by their products.

I went to Lowes of Egg Harbor Township NJ this morning to pay the balance for my carpet install. I was excited about getting my room done until I arrived at Lowes. After patiently waiting, the salesman finally got to me and began to process the order. Another customer came to the desk and didn't say excuse me or anything just started asking questions about carpet to the sales person. He stopped waiting on me to answer her question which I didn't mind, she then asked another question and he stopped waiting on me a second time and then left the desk to help her and told me he would be right back. I waited for ten minutes and he had not returned. I looked for him and said to him you need to finish waiting on me, I am 76 years old and on medication that I have to be home to take. He said I will be right back again. I was so mad after waiting for him to wait on me and he just ignored me place in line and my two requests to finish waiting on me. I got so disgusted and I left and went to customer service and asked for a manager and told them what happen and that I wanted my money back and to cancel the order. I felt it was necessary to file this complaint so that you could rectify this problem with this sales person so it never happens again. Plus to let you know an order was lost due to the sales persons bad customer service. In closing, I really wanted this carpet and feel that I should be able to get proper service when I am paying in cash, in full. So upset and disappointed. I have been purchasing all of my home needs from Lowes for years, in fact I never go to Home Depot for anything, but today I guess I am forced to do so. Please advise???

Frigidaire Range from Lowes

I too purchased a Frigidaire range from Lowes. I got an electric range and it cost around 600.00. The design is very poor. There are vents in the front door with double glass window. Condensation from the oven causes dripping between the glass panes which you cannot clean without disassembling the entire oven door. Even with the extended "expensive" maintenance contract, they would not cover it stating it was maintenance, yet the manual states to call a professional. Lowes sent someone out to look at it, only to tell me it was not under warranty and then the contractor that came out sent me a bill for $80.

If you take time to read the entire service contract you will find that it does not cover "cosmetic" problems. The dirty glass does not affect the operation of the oven therefore they wouldn't cover the service. Always take time to read over the fine print before purchasing a service contract or extended warranty.

Cosmetic issues are covered under the factory warranty for the first 60 days. If you notify them within that time period you are covered regardless of how long it takes to fix the issue.

I also made the mistake of purchasing this brand for my range.

In my case, as I was remodeling my kitchen, I am dumping mine and buying all new appliances from Sears. Regardless of their issues the Kenmore brand seems to be better made and easier to obtain service.

Lowes Veteran discount

I gave Lowes credit for helping veterans with a small discount on purchases (10%). However when I went to the store this week I was told they will no longer be honoring the discount. I went from being a veteran to being an embarrassed person. I don't know who made this discission. But I am sure he makes milloins of dollars a year. Is he or she a veteran? At one point they did the right thing. It wasn't much but it made me go to Lowes. I would like to continue to shop a Lowes. They need to reinstate the discount for veterans. The
