Optics continue to be NOT GOOD on this issue: About July 12, 2018 we contacted Lowes Executive services, Public Relations, Investor Relations and the new President's admin. to explained what was expected - again.

Still waiting for the appropriate thing to be done, which is --- to send us a Visa card (not for Lowes) in the amount of $50.00 for the continuing inconvenience and disruption of our lives, due to not receiving a simple rebate (of over $314.00) since January 2018.

And, not being treated with the respect, we as Investors and first time customers deserve. While Lowes is now courting the Pro market, private customers like us who support brick and mortar locations are still waiting for Lowes to do the right thing.

Purchased a Bosch dishwasher January 2018 which came with a manufacturer rebate in the form of a Visa card for the installation charge of $314.00. The rebate was submitted by the store but when it was not received in 2 months, we followed up with the sales person, then department managers and store managers. When no progress was made, contacted Lowes Executive Services, outgoing President, Investor Relations and Public Relations, who kicked the issue back to Executive Services. During this 5 month journey, over 25 telephone calls have been made, over 15 emails have been sent. And, despite Lowes being notified that stalling any longer would result in the Media, BBB and DCF being notified and at this point - we were entitled to another $50.00 Visa card for ongoing inconvenience, Executive Services (a misnomer) continues to give excuse after excuse, which does not resolve this issue. Today, Executive Services asked for more time to investigate why the Visa card (they say) was sent over a month ago by USPS was not received by us. So, Lowes now stands for: Lousy Organization Without Essential Services.

Sept. 17, 20176. I purchased a Husqvarna lawn tractor. It currently has 35.5 hours. This afternoon I could not get it to start. It will crank, just wont turn over. Ran the battey down and put the battery pack to it. Still wont start. I called the 888 number. The lady said she could not see my purchase on "my lowe's" card. So I called the local store. The lady at the service counter said she would transfer me to the dept that handles the local service. After 15 minutes, Daniel answered. He found the purchase on "my lowe's card. He said that the mower has a 3 year warranty but because I did not purchase the extended warranty I would have to bring the mower to Lowe's and they would send it off to be repaired. In the meantime this disabled veteran would have to push mow just over an acre of grass while the mower will be out for god knows how long. I was under the impression that the local Lowe's store had qualified service people to stand behind their products in the event of a failure. Looks like the biggest failure here was me. I should have gone to the local guy who makes house calls and even loans me a rider in the event something can't be fixed on site. Lowe;s, you burned me once, but never again!

A follow up to my post. I called the local dealer/service shop.

I explained what was going on. He was here within 15 minutes. There was a problem with the fuel system. He said it's common with this brand of tractor.

Charged me $135.00 and my mower is running within an hour.Up yours lowes!

I will be paying off my lowes card tonight and closing the account. I would rather drive 50 miles that spend another dime with you.

I hired Lowe’s for my outdoor fence project. They came measured can me my drawings I approved and paid in full. My order was dropped off then an installer came 2 days later. Well I don’t have enough fencing in short by 3 sections no hardware fir my gates and no caps. Silent 2 1/2 hours calling and no one can help me. Called Georgia also. Well 3 days have gone by and everyday I call day the story to whoever answers the phone I’m tired of saying the same thing and then me and nobody could help me . I went to the Lowes Webster, NY store on 4/16/2018 to finalize my decision on which refrigerator to purchase. On Tuesday 4/17/2018, I made my decision and called the same store and placed an order for a Whirlpool WRT518SZFM. I received an email on 4/18/2018 confirming my purchase. On Monday 4/23/2018 I received a voice mail concerning the delivery. In a return call I made I was told my new refrigerator would be delivered on Thursday 4/26/2018. I arranged to take the day off from work. I received a phone call Wednesday evening 4/25/2018 telling me the “delivery window” for my new refrigerator would be a 4 hour window centered around 3:00 pm Thursday 4/26/2018. At 2:34PM Thursday 4/26/2018 I received a call from someone identifying them selves as a Lowes delivery truck person, telling me that my new refrigerator would be delivered within 30 minutes. I removed all food from my working though VERY loud refrigerator so that it could be set aside, and the new one put in its place. As one, two, three hours went by with NO further contact, I contacted Lowes. I was surprisingly told that my old refrigerator was to be picked up today, Thursday 4/26/2018, and my new refrigerator delivered on 4/29/2018. I was shocked that no one from Lowes would do ANYTHING to retain my business, other then say “we’re sorry”. I can go to Rochester, NY small claims court, file a small claims lawsuit for a $10 fee, for 1) cost of my loosing a day of work, 2) loss food due to your telling me the delivery was 30 minutes away. Lowe’s options would be 1) send an employee to argue against my claim, perhaps paying that person $10 an hour for the 20 minute drive there, the 20 minute wait until my case is heard, the 20 minute argument, and the 20 minute return drive. So, perhaps $20 for that persons time. Then there’s the chance I’d win my case. Or 2) you could ignore the small claims suit, and I would win by default. And still, NO ONE from Lowes company will do anything more then say “we’re sorry”.

Had carpet installed from Lowes a year and a half ago. It recently developed waves in it due to poor installation. I called Lowes and they directed me to the installation department. They stated it only had 1 yr guarantee therefore nothing can be done. Recently had another carpet installed before I realized the waves in the other. Carpet was defected from StainMaster. It developed loops and strands of carpet sticking up with black markes showing up. I have been tieing the strands together to prevent further damage. This was noted two days after put down. Pictures were sent to installer also. I was told only one loop was noted (only 1 picture was sent of this). Why is any loop noted? Over six months the problem still has not been resolved. Lowes states they are not responsible. Installation states they are not responsible, and stainmaster states they are not responsible I am out about $4000.00 STAY AWAY FROM LOWES AND THERE POOR INSTALLATION DEPARTMENT.

Samantha, the head cashier at the store located at 2150 Nesconset Hwy, Stony Brook, NY 11790 is a rude and unprofessional person, and I'm not sure why she hasn't been fired. I asked for help with one of my items and not only she was rude and nasty to me, but she was rude to the other store employees as well. I thought Lowe's was a better store than Home Depo. What do I not understand is why nasty people like this get assigned to be managers or to be in charge of the store? Is being an Assh*le part of a job requirement for these types of jobs? Don't corporations know that this type of behavior hurts their button line because employees like these scare customers away, and also scare the nice employees away? Every other week that I go to this store there are new people, but Samantha is always there. I wonder why is that. When is mobbing (bullying in the workplace) going to be taken seriously? It is not the first time I deal with Samantha, last time my husband and I was purchasing a lamp, and we saw her being rude to another customer, and that is when I finally asked for her name. Lowe's please train people about manners and fire this crazy woman ASAP! I would not shop at this store until she is gone.

Took 3 weeks to get a refrigerator delivered and it never arrived. Spent 6 hours waiting. Numerous phone calls to the store and also the delivery company, which meant hours on the phone. I was told several times it was on the truck, but driver was late. After reaching corporate Lowes i find out it was never put on the truck. Lie after lie from lowes customer service. Beyond furious with this shoddy service.

My husband who is a Vet was declined the Vet discount yesterday, because he was NOT registered in the Rome store. He has the card all the info. I can't believe it!! We have done business with this company ever since the Vet Cards came in to view. We shop @ the Utica,N.Y. store, with out any issues. A Vet is a Vet. It saddens me to think, that they are treated this way. All stores should honor these cards, with out being registered at all of them. One store, I think would be enough. It should be in the computer the same to honor them. Laurie & Vince Carey

Well if you choose to go to a different retailer, you don't get a discount period.Now what may not of be explained to you, is your Vet status needs to registered, it takes 30 seconds at any customer service terminal.The reason is to speed the check out process for the3 customer, before you had to wait for a manager to give a price based over ride. Now it is automatic.Stores are now, required to not allow at register overrides.

At the Lowes on rockaway turnpike in NY, the employees are incompetent! I have a leaky shower,& I am not a millionare to hire a plumber. I go to Lowes to get help, & guess what. No one is available in the plumbing department! When an employee shows up, a pale, fat albino, with an attitude refuses to help me. Saying that the pieces I brought with me did not "tell him anything". Aint that some stuff! Some help. I also wanted some #5 o-rings, sold out. The albino recommended a multi pack. *** no! I will take my money & time elsewhere! Phooey!
