Do not waste your time with Lowe’s. Everything about them is a waste of time & money.

Worst consumer experience ever ... in every aspect.

This company is doomed. I get the impression that management has no control & the employees & delivery are running a racket.

Having worked in a store that delivers and having made purchases I've had delivered to my home I have learned that if you want something at a certain time, rent a truck and pick it up. Any number of things can delay a delivery schedule.

The driver might get there late (for any number of reasons), the truck won't start or have a flat tire, traffic delays, problems with deliveries ahead of yours including products that won't fit through doors and waiting for people to remove doors or trim to get it in and the list goes on and on.

And yes, a human may have made a mistake in loading the truck or misplaced paperwork. I only wish I was as perfect as you are and could guarantee that I would always be on time for everything I do.

I ordered a washer and dryer. I was told of a delivery date 2 weeks away. They confirmed delivery the night before the delivery date and gave me a window between 3 and 5 pm. At 6.30 pm on the day of the delivery, I got a message that they had a flat tire and they rescheduled delivery for the next day. The next day, I get a call at 6 am from jersey city store that the driver will be calling me at some point today to schedule the delivery. I inform them that the building does not allow deliver after 5 pm (which I had informed them earlier on many occasions). I call every 2 hrs to see what the status of my delivery is, I am told they will be contacting me shortly, this goes on till the end of the day. No delivery I had to cancel the people that I had asked to come to install the washer/dryer.Then I get an e mail that the washer/dryer has already been delivered (when it has not been delivered). Horrible people, horrible customer service and horrible delivery. Will never order from them again.

I came to store and was told to order item online. Went home, made the order in a week got an email and voice mail confirmation for pick-up. ordered a fridge and a gas range. told lowes i needed it to be there 1-5. XPO calls and tells me 7-9. problem is..its a new house. I dont live here yet, I don't live in the city yet.. And I already took off work (losing $$ of course ) so that I could receive the delivery .. they would not budge on the 7 to 9. fine. what happens? i get a call saying that I wont be getting it at all tonight. but I can get them friday (hunh?() they say that even though its before 9pm the driver passed the time DOT allows truckers to be on the road or something. Why in the *** would they create a window so late or allow the route to be so unorganized . yea thats my story. i dont know whether or not to blame Lowes... btw XPO has about negative 5 stars on Yelp. why would Lowes keep on using them? oh.. nobody cares. . I Let them reschedule me for Saturday morning - but after reading other reviews, im disgusted and I dont believe them. may jusy cancel the order.checking out sears now

Lowes in Brooklyn, New York - Extremely poor delivery service

I ordered patio doors online and was told to call for delivery set up. Tried to call delivery dept at the Hamilton Ave, Brooklyn NY store. No answer....then eventually was hung up on. Called the central customer service number to complain, they couldn't get through either. The woman had to take my number and say she will set it up and call me back with a time. She eventually did for next day delivery 6:30-8:30 pm window. However the doors never came. I had my contractor and his guys waiting for the delivery. I called and complained and the supervisor on duty was rude. He said "did I want him to tell me the truth or tell me what I want to hear". He wanted to tell me that there's no way that I would get it delivered the next day. I asked if he could leave a note for the morning manager and he was clearly not interested. No "I will try to see what we can do" nor "call in the morning and speak to .." He was horrible. I ended up scheduling for first delivery Monday morning. I still don't have it and it's Tuesday...haven't received a phone call about not delivering yesterday.
