Do you have an invoice showing a delivery was set up with a date for delivery? Did you set up a date when you called them?

Don't assume things are going to happen. Check the paperwork you are given when you make a purchase.

So the GM finally calls me and says the doors won’t fit in his SUV that I should call that store and arrange for delivery. I told him I’m done and get my doors to me anyway you can.

If the GM is an idiot. What do the rest of the other workers in the store are.

I HAD MY CONTRACTOR PICK UP THE DOORS. THEY WERE SITTING IN MY HOUSE FOR 2 WEEKS. WHEN HE GOES TO INSTALL THEY WERE THE WRONG MODEL & WRONG SIZE! SPOKE TO A FEW PEOPLE AT THE STORE AND NOTHING WAS DONE. I GET TO THE GM HE SAYS I LOCATED YOUR DOORS AT ANOTHER STORE AND HE WAS GOING TO PICK THEM UP AND SWAP OUT THE WRONG ONES HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HERE YESTERDAY BUT HAD TRANSMISSION TROUBLE. HE SAID THAT HE WILL MEET ME AT MY HOUSE AT 2PM. ITS NOW 3PM AND IM STILL WAITING! NO CALL NOTHING! THIS IS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU GET A LOWES! I’m amazed there still in business. REDICULOUS! This is holding up my bathroom a week now and they don’t care.

Why didn't you contractor confirm that he was picking up the proper product? It sure would have avoided a delay in your project.

Store manager greg henry is the more arrogant people i have ever met. Lowes does not take returns after 90 days and home depot does with no problems- greg henry told me well thats lowes policy and i should shop at home depot - never going back. I spend over 10k-20k per year on materials for renovations - i am now home depot only shopper.

So because YOU can’t find the time to return your item within one month of purchasing it, Lowe’s now gets to be punished by you for YOUR laziness. Are you unable to read??

It CLEARLY states the time frame for returns ON THE RECEIPT!! So please tell us all WHY you feel Lowe’s is bad for following their return policy?? I hate to burst that rosey bubble but Home Depot has the exact same return policy. 30 days.

So in 360 hours that they are open in a one month timeframe you couldn’t find the time to return your items? It sound like you are the real problem and not Lowe’s. Grow up and move on you did this to yourself 100%. You’re just mad that you couldn’t get your way and because they stuck to their policies YOU feel you need to punish THEM for telling YOU NO!!

You’re acting like a teenaged little girl. It must be your training bra riding up on you.

Why Just Why, If thats the policy then follow it. They made the rule for a reason just like Anonymous said, what if they made that a part of the policy so the item to still be sellable.

Stores have policies like this for a reason. People like you let excess products sit around a job site, garage or wherever collecting dust and paint overspray for months and then bring them back after they have been discontinued and replaced with other items or in a condition no one would want to pay full price for. Quit buying more than you need and if you do bring it back right away while it is still in a sellable condition.

Was unable to find anyone to help,but, then a gentleman asked if he could help me! First time this has happened as I was in your store 2 times before, and could find no one to help. His employee tag showed his name was Michael and he knew exactly how to locate what I needed! Have told my friends to please go to Lowe’s again, because they do help you!!!!! It’s virtually impossible to fins people like Michael in these stores today. He is an asset to your company! Purchased a refrigerator, was supposed to be a 24 hour delivery. 6 days later, no refrigerator. Countless excuses and problems with ordering, contacting the store and the delivery service they use (xpo). Save yourself some headaches and go to Home Depot or PC Richards for appliances.

There's probably more to the story than you are telling. Items stocked in the store or a local warehouse should be delivered the next day.

Unfortunately there are times that a popular item may run out of stock. When that happens more have to be brought in from the manufacturers distribution center.

No roof under their head right? No clothes for their back?

Like customers love to point out YOU pay the wages. If YOU ain't paying people aren't going to work for free because of the reasons that I just listed.

Vincennes Indiana What a sorry store. It was full of happy hard working employees a year ago. Well that's all over. This so called store manager Martin Wagner has destroyed the entire staff. I have heard & witnessed horror stories from longtime & former employees. With all I've personally witnessed & add on employee abuses, this so called manager continues to VIOLATE FEDERAL LABOR LAW & EXTREME VIOLATION OF EMPLOYEE CIVIL RIGHTS. Evidently HOME CORPORATE OFFICES are not aware of his extreme abuse of power. I've watched many friends & friends children's schedules disappear from one day to the next. Schedules changed in mid shift. Longtime loyal employees lives being flipped just because he thinks he can. Guess what I'm going to encourage every single person I know to file a lawsuit or join a class action against this out of control Nazi. Several that have experienced a medical issue have been treated as if they are at fault, then their schedule is modified to the point of nonexistence or to the point they quit. Due to this one horrible manager I will propose a full on boycott of this store , there are plenty of other stores to purchase the exact same products at just steps away. This is a very sad situation that has been allowed to happen. Shame on you. Shame on you for allowing this loose canon reek havoc on good people & a loyal community. 3 assist store managers have quit since this man has arrived. Once a store full of happy loyal employees that loved their job, loved the company. To despising it. Something is seriously wrong. My suggestion is a full investigation. And speaking with current & past employees without Martin's threatening influence hanging in the air. Regards An Extremely Angry & Disappointed Former Customer. AGAIN YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED.

Lowes in Yonkers, New York - I just don't get it !!!!!!!!!

You go to LOWES and buy a garage door 3 or 4 years ago ( The same door is still for sale) and as time goes by the weatherstripping succumbs to the elements. There you go, taking a ride back to LOWES to get a replacement weather stripping and what do you hear when you get there? We don't carry weatherstripping for any of our doors, but we have them for others. I DON"T GET IT !!!!!!! So now I am left trying to track down the right weather stripping. Don't get me wrong its not that difficult with the Internet but for the love of Pete, why would you carry replacement parts for other products and not for the ones you sell !!!!!!!!!
