Its not often that I need assistance, because I usually know where to find what I need, but sometimes I do need assistance when I kind find it. Every time I've needed assistance, I think may be it was just last time that I couldn't find anyone to help, or the...

If you look at "the orange box" reviews on this site you will see other people who have complaints about them and go to Lowe's instead. Every business will have some off days.

Lowes Foods

Moved here three years ago from neighboring county. Thanks to bad economy food prices have gotten ridiculous. Lowes Foods in Mountain View south of Hickory NC is the worst. They must have done some kind of research and found a lot of high income retirees in the area. They draw you in with sales and except for those items you can not afford anything. Everything is almost double price. A 3.00 item in any other store costs at least 5.50 and in some cases more. The prices are unaffordable and you would think the government would regulate such none sense. The only people you ever see are parked in the parking lot?. Must be in neighboring stores. Maybe this will right itself.

Knowing this is in the wrong complaint area, you should shop somewhere else, problem solved. And why would we want to regulate just another thing.

They have too much control in the first place.

I received a promotional "spend $50 and get $10 off/spend $250 and get $25 off" with cards attached to present to the cashier. We spent $337.94 and I gave the girl the card, first she said she couldn't use that, but then took it. When I looked at the receipt, all...

They are still doing it almost 3 years later. Checker only mentioned it after transaction complete.

Maybe people don't care but I would guess they have lost more customers and have come out on the losing end. The stores are never very busy.

Lowes in Hickory, North Carolina - Did not let me return table saw

went to return a skill table saw i had used less than 4 hours of running time the same blade that came with the saw was on it they could not find a item number on it the only way they said to get refunded was to call my credit card company and see if they had a record of me buying it and then bring a copy to show them. well just so lowes knows i am a building contractor and i have bought almost all my tools from your store and i will never buy another tool again.

Yup, you finally got whats coming to you. You actually used a power tool and then expected what, they take it back at full cost and then just put it back on the shelf for someone else to have to buy or just eat the difference, give me a break.

A contractor, and you make money from this product, I would think you would be more considerate of your vendors.

Part of whats wrong in America, my friend. :roll

Haha! Lowes has never given me trouble with returns even without a receipt.

I do know they will limit receipt-less returns per customer. I wouldn't hire a building contractor that used a $119 table saw.

I agree with Cantfixstupid. You have brass balls to use it for 4 hours and the try to return your purchase for a full refund.

Did your weekend side job get completed? "Sure sounds like it did."

are you one of those so called contractors, you know, you have a truck with a ladder rack? I am sure a company like Lowes can only afford to buy your tools for awhile!!

I used to buy stuff at Lowe's until they denied my return recently. I did like to use item and return but I also previously have been turned away at Home Depot.

I days of buy use and return are done my friend.

It seems to me these stores have grown a backbone. My free rental time is done :cry

I'll bet they are glad YOU won't be buying any more tools from them. What store wants to sell tools that will only be returned when the job is done? Jerks like you only raise the costs of products for the rest of us.

Really! When did lowes become a free rental company.

I USED it 4 hours finished my project.

Didn't need anymore and tried to get my money back. Give me a break.

I've worked for Lowe's and I have to say that this company works very hard at training their employees to be polite to all customers. Poor customer service is never accepted, and it is extremely easy to get in touch with management at any point in time if you do run into someone who isn't doing their job properly.

That isn't to say that your claim isn't a valid one.

Not all employees do what's expected of them and sometimes a few bad ones might slip through.

However, it shouldn't have been difficult for you to contact management at that store or even go above their head without an issue. Their corporate contact information is also available on their website, as well as at each store's Customer Service Counter.
