Lowes has absolutely NO control over their subcontractors. I learned the hard way that you should NEVER pay for the complete job to include the labor before the job is done.

Hire a local company to do the work and then you only pay when the job is complete .At Lowes you pay for the whole job labor and all and then have no recourse if the subcontractor does not complete the job correctly.Your screwed unless the contractor comes back, as Lowes cannot make them do anything.NEVER have Lowes install anything ! !

Never use the stores installers. Lowe’s and Home Depot Installers are usually not licensed.

So that makes them Jake legs.

We have gone behind and cleaned up their messes more than once. Their products are of a lesser quality.

We used Lowe's in Hilliard (Mill Run) for a bathroom remodel and it was a nightmare. It took 3 1/2 months for an 8' x 8' bath. They only showed up a few hours each week and they sent unskilled laborers out to to do trade jobs. I had to watch them like a hawk for fear of them screwing something up and having to re-do it. You have to pay 100% up front, so you have no leverage if something goes wrong or if they are late. Do not, I repeat, do not consider them for any work.

A lot of the issue comes from the salesperson not being honest with the customer. They are there to sale and make a quota.

I am pretty sure the installers tell Lowe’s about their schedules. The customers go by what they are told via Lowe’s and it eventually looks bad towards the installer.

Installers do not get paid until the install has been done. Only Lowe’s gets paid.

Why are you complaining about Lowes rather than LG? When you buy an appliance made in Korea you may find a delay if their US warehouses are out of stock.

They have to wait for more product to come on a boat from Korea. It's kind of hard to complete a repair without parts.

Lowes in Ashtabula, Ohio - Poor warenty customer service

Our microwave oven quit working. On the first service date I took vacation time to be home. The first repair source cancelled and didn't inform me. After learning this I called Lowes receiving another repair date. I called this repair source. This source told me I was not on their schedule that day but another day. A BIG WASTE OF MONEY!!
