1.0
Details
I have ordered a counter top and flooring, the counter top was suppose to be 2 weeks it is passed 3 weeks now,{ to be in on the 26th now} was ordered on the 7th. the flooring was to be here on the 20th but no truck today. so in the meantime I have workers waiting and I am without . I go to Lowes often and each time I have to wait and wait for some one to help. there has been time where the employee has turned and went the opposite direction to keep from helping. I even called the store on my cell while waiting in the flooring dept.that took forever to. I also work with the public and if I was to treat my customers like Lowes has treated me I wouldn"t have a job. This Bellefontaine store needs to retrain their employees ,

Large number of items (hose for water heater) was clearly displayed and advertised for a given price ($8,xx). During the check out the cashier informed that the price was $24,xx, and even though I stated that the price on display was different, then the ...

Is there any reason for them to not think you moved the price tag yourself? People try to rip them off everyday and don't know you at all.

My first issue happened when I bought a can of black paint for an exterior door. I asked for it to be mixed black. He said he had to have a color swatch for it. It's black dude. You add black. Anyways, I bought it, sent it out to my contractors and they didn't use it...

I work at a Lowe's store and I know for a fact we take back almost anything. We recently took back a sump pump that we could never have sold.

It was made entirely of metal, no receipt, we just used an item number for a sump we presently sell and then through the pump into the trash compactor. Sure it was a loss for Lowe's but oh my we did make the customer happy.

Some of this return without a receipt stuff is actually theft.

Lowes Window/Door Installation
My husband and I had all new windows & doors, puchased at Lowes and installed by Lowes, put in our home approximately 2 years ago. ALL of the windows have condensation, which leaks onto our window sills, and all are drafty. ALL of the doors have horrible drafts and...

Try a professional installer next time. Installers at big box stores don't have the customer base to have their own business. That's why they rely on other sources to provide business.

Lowes in Columbus, Ohio - Washing Machine Tearing up Clothes

We bought a Whirlpool model 580 washing machine less than a year ago. About nine months ago, my wife noticed that the towels were getting frayed, clothes (such as v-neck tshirts) we getting stretched at the neck. About that time, I was diagnosed with cancer and needless to say, with all the radiation and chemo treatments, this problem was not of high priority. We went to the local Lowe's and talked to a manager who recommended a diagnosis be made of the washing machine. No problems were found, but the washer is still tearing up clothes. My wife goes to the landramat at least once a week to wash the good clothes. I am pissed that we can't return the washer. In the past 30 years, we have not had this problem with other major stores (such as Sears, Home Depot etc.0

I was looking for 3 items when I went in. Walked most of the store must have passed 15 employees and not one asks if I need help. Did not find what I needed and just decided to leave. It was early and hardly any customers. I was trying to avoid Lowe's . It was...

Ordered several items from Afghanistan. Shipment arrived on two separate days. First shipment included an 18V Dewalt wet and dry vacuum...which evidently doesn't include the battery or charger unit. Doesn't do me much good in Afghanistan. Second part of order...

It is stated right on the website "TOOL ONLY".Dewalt sells base tools which do not include the battery or charger. I don't know how much clearer the web site could be.

My local Lowes store #2852 is a joke! They have the worst managers who seem to be in excrutiating pain when asked to do something and seem to be miserable! Either Lowe's should fire these people or pay them more to buck up! I'm not "pissed" because...

I purchased wood for a privacy fence in 2006. I notice this year the fence has started to produce holes. I've tried to resolve problem for three months with Lowes and the contractor that sold the wood to Lowes, Georgia Pacific. Lowes store manager at Columbus, Ohio...

so, you picked out the lumber with the knotholes and bought it, now you're upset because they fell out? perfect example of someone thinking they install something cuase they watch This old house every weekend. That is why contractors charge so much, they know how to do things like select the correct materials for the job, blame yourself not your local store, ***.

No good wood for fencing from Lowes

I had a contractor order fencing for a privacy fence from a Lowe's Store in Columbus Ohio. The fence was put up when the wood was purchased in Aug. 2006. The boards now have holes in the fence. I've called and tried to resolved this issue since June 7, 2008. The sent a person out and said the holes were created from the branches that was cut out of the wood. They tell me the inferior wood came from Georgia Pacific. They promised to send a Georgia Pacific rep out and that has not been done. I took pictures up to the store and talked to a Lowe's manager and still no resolve.
