Been waiting over 3 months to het our fence installed. Told we had to pay first which we did. They did deliver the fence had an installatin date if 8 /12/19 finally. My husband took a day off work nobody showed up or called. I called the project manager told him we were upset and it was unprofessional. Told him to call me and let me know what was going on. As of yet no phone call. We paid quite a bit for this fence

Lowe's typically pays the contractors they hire around 60% of what the contractor would get paid if they had gotten the job without lowe's being involved. That's why no one wants to do any work for them except contractors that are substandard or don't know what they are doing.

You are actually better off that they haven't shown up. Contact an actual fence contractor, pay a little more, and be a lot more satisfied with the outcome.

Lowe's is probably having problems getting whomever they contract with for fence installations to actually do the work or they actually don't have anyone to do the job for the price Lowe's wants to pay them. If you paid by credit card then contact Lowe's and tell them the delay is unacceptable and you want your money back in order to find a more reliable contractor on your own.

There are many small and large fence installation companies out there. Contact a couple and get an estimate while you wait for Lowe's to credit your card or refund you what you paid. If they delay or refuse then dispute the charge for work not accomplished, etc.

If you paid by check then you may have to threaten legal action. Going thru these big box stores for projects like this is usually a mistake as you never know who they will send out to do the job---or when.

My worst experience working with Lowe’s and their contractors to remodel a bathroom. Theresa: Lowe’s Sales/Interior Design Mark: Lowe’s Central Installation Manager Jimmy: Lowe’s Store Manager Chris: UHS General Contracting My wife and I stopped at Lowe’s Polaris store in Columbus, OH towards the end of June to getting an estimate on a bathroom remodeled. We told Theresa what we wanted to do and looked at the products that they had available. Keep in mind as you read my review that our bathroom is small (5’ x 8’). We wanted to replace the vanity, toilet, bathtub, shower hardware, lighting\ceiling fan, and to tile the floor and bathtub walls. We also told them that we have several other projects that we want to do (kitchen remodel, replace all interior doors and trim, replace our very large deck. Theresa and Chris came out to our house to look at our existing bathroom and get measurements. Theresa drew up the plans and we approved them. I paid for the labor and materials on July 5, 2018. Total cost was almost $11,000. Yes, for a 5x8 bathroom with no gold in it. There is nothing extravagant about it, just basic materials. The materials were finally delivered on August 18 2018. Theresa and Chris came back out to inventory the delivered materials on 8/22/2018. It was found that the vanity top was the wrong size and the new bathtub had a chip out of it. They had to be replaced. They confirmed that evening that the remodel would start on 8/27/2018 and that it would take three weeks to finish. We discussed why it would take 3 weeks to remodel a small bathroom. Their example of why, was that there would be times when they could only work part of a day because they would have to pause for things like when they patched a wall with spackling, they needed it to dry before they continue. They said nothing about many days where nothing would be happening, just waiting for the contractors. We agreed to leave the door from the garage to the house unlocked and gave them the code for our garage door. They missed the first week completely. They said that they came out once but the code for the garage door didn’t work. They wrote it down wrong. This left 2 weeks to finish the job on time. Long story short, they didn’t make the completion date on time, it took them more than 5 weeks to complete. Actually they did not finish, I had to buy the shower bar and install it myself. They originally ordered a shower bar that required them to drill through the newly laid tile. I asked them to replace this with a tension control shower bar but I guess that they didn’t want to do that. During the installation, we found that the exhaust fan\LED light that THEY ordered was too small for the opening and left a gaping hole in the ceiling. They eventually replaced it after lots of complaining. They had the dumpster removed on 10/01/2018 (at 6:00AM pitch black out). In doing so, they tore up some of our yard with deep tracks in it. They also left a pile of trash behind (in our garage) that I am going to have to deal with now. They missed more days than they worked, that’s why it took more than 5 weeks to complete. We sent emails, called, or personally visited them in store (Theresa, Chris, Mark, Jimmy) at LEAST once a week and got NO response except for Mark. Mark made promises to improve the service, but it never happened. The store manager was the same, empty promises. We NEVER heard back from the Sales contact. Once the purchase was made, she was silent. They didn’t communicate at all, and when they did, many times they texted me a second time, the night before they were suppose to show up, to cancel and re-schedule, missing another day of work. Overall, once the sale is made (they get their money), Lowe’s doesn’t care about the customer! I will never use them again. Go HOME DEPOT!

I am having the same issue with the Boca Raton Store. I guess their training is the same at all stores...NADA....My promises have been going on since August 2018. I notified the Better Business Bureau and are contemplating taking them to court,since they have my $20,000.

LG washer needs a new "control". I called on 6/18 to schedule an appointment. Repair guy came out on 6/20 and diagnosed the "control" needs replaced. A week later, I called and the representative had no clue what was going on, and she would send an Email to some other department right away. A week later I called the warranty people again and was informed that the part was on order. One day later, they called me and said the part wan on back order, and they found a substitute part that was in stock and being shipped. If I don't hear from them by the 15th (today is the 10th), I am to call back. Total time elapsed: 23 days Time elapsed by the 15th: 28 days One month to get my washer fixed, provided it actually gets fixed. UNACCEPTABLE!!! Wtf

Why are you complaining about Lowes rather than LG? When you buy an appliance made in Korea you may find a delay if their US warehouses are out of stock.

They have to wait for more product to come on a boat from Korea. It's kind of hard to complete a repair without parts.

If you read the terms, it starts from day one because it is not just an extended warranty, it provides you with additional coverage and benefits that the manufacturer doesn’t provide. Such as, power surge coverage, food loss, rental reimbursement, and 50% rebate on maintenance products purchase for the refrigerator(this includes cleaning products and water filters).

Not fraud at all. In fact if you replace the water filter every 6 months at $50 a pop, you get $25 back, over three years that benefit alone pay for the warranty itself.

Go to Lowes.com and look up appliance warranty. It is pretty clear that the one year manufacturers warranty is part to the total term of your warranty.

It also tells you that the contract is sent to you via e-mail if you provide a proper e-mail address.

There is also a phone number you can call to have a printed version sent to you. Sounds like you are just another consumer who doesn't look at the details of a product before they make the purchase.

Lowes is the worst place to get carpet!! They installed my carpet Approx: $6300.00 and it has more "HUMPS" in it the a team of Camels !!!!!!! They never stretched the carpet on the install! Talked to Lowes store manager/and Lowes corporate, they said $2000.00 MORE dollars and well replace it.......WTF (if it was installed right in the first place none of this would have happened!) I live by my self and NEVER wore shoes on the carpet ever,and sweep it once a week! There RIPP OFF'S!!!!!!!!!I bought everything for my new house from them,curtains,shower doors ,vanities, paint,light fixtures,stain for my fence,bulbs,screws,the list go's on and on. And they treat me like this? I guess thats why its called L O W E S there' low" CAN ANY BODY HELP ME HERE??????

Our microwave oven quit working. On the first service date I took vacation time to be home. The first repair source cancelled and didn't inform me. After learning this I called Lowes receiving another repair date. I called this repair source. This source told me I was not on their schedule that day but another day. A BIG WASTE OF MONEY!! Contracted for kitchen remodel. Lowes abandoned the contract and remodel when mistakes were discovered and repairs needed. Contacted Lowes President, Lowes Executive Customer Service, Local Building Inspector, BBB, and Ohio State Attorney General. VERBALLY, Lowes admitted mistakes. In writing, Lowes Central Production Dept is closing the case with no repairs to unsafe electrical. They have defaulted on contract by refusing to complete remodel, fix fire hazard, did not deliver one cabinet or install, etc.

Any updates on the situation? We have similar issues where they delivered cream and brown countertops when we picked grey and white and are refusing to replace it, not to mention the 15 other numerous issues that have gone on with mis-measurements of cabinets and nickel and diming is for things they cannot provide that we have already paid for...

Lowe's doesn't do remodels. They contract it out to local contractors.

You will actually need to sue the contractor.

Lowe's can and will weasel out of any and all liability for the work that has been done. Your attorney will figure that out pretty quickly.

Why don't you go to your local full service lumber yard if you want someone to load your product for you?

Sure, you may pay a little more but do you expect the people that are there to load your product for you to work for nothing? It was your choice to shop at a big box store to save a few bucks so you really have no reason to complain.
