Dear Lowes Management at 0530,
You are the worst supposed “leaders” I have ever had.
Which is to say, you aren’t leaders.
You are vindictive, spiteful, hypocritical, and hyper critical. You don’t support your team.
Because you don’t have a team. You are dictators commanding a group of slaves.
You don’t back up your employees when they need it. You don’t teach them. You don’t respect them.
You don’t trust them.
If you have hired people who are not teachable, respectable, or trustworthy, which is to say, if you have hired the wrong people, then that is your error. And it continues to be your own stupidity for continuing to employ them. If you hired the right people and still treat them this way, then your actions are simply abuse.
You don’t know how to communicate. You don’t know how to inspire.
You don’t know how to motivate. You don’t know how to reward. And you definitely don’t know how to critique. Or you do…and simply can’t be bothered.
You are forgetful, which I could forgive, if you yourself weren’t so unforgiving.
You never acknowledge your mistakes.
You blame others and encourage others to look for blame as well. You throw your own people under the bus.
You give your people relentless anxiety. You give us panic attacks at lunch. You give us depression on the weekends.
You make us complain way too much to our friends after work.
We hate you. And I’m pretty sure you hate us too.
A pity, because we could have done so much for you.
