Lowes - Cashier Review from Doylestown, Pennsylvania
My husband and I have been to your store in gun barrel city at least 6 times in a month trying to buy an outside light and 2 phone calls and we have been given run around about ordering so tonight my husband went back in to see if it was in stock...there was 1 so he went to purchase it with our debit card and your cashier wouldnt accept it because it did not have his name on it but he is a signer on our account and we have same last name and same address so i had to go back after working 14 hrs today when we got back your store was closed.This store has the rudest and the most unhelpful employees I have ever come across I would appreciate a call back from your company I believe we have been patient through all this...this also has not been first time we ve had issues with this store its every time we go in there

Lowes - Warranty Review from Doylestown, Pennsylvania
Bought a refrigerator with them and haven't even had it a year and it went out so it's under warranty. It's been a week since I've contacted them about it and they have yet to get back with me about it! I keep calling and they keep saying well we can't find someone to fix it so we will call you tomorrow then tomorrow comes around no call and I call them again and they repeat themselves! I wouldn't be so upset but I have kids and a refrigerator is something we have to have! I will never buy from them again!
Lowes - Installation Review
I purchased a frigidaire split door refrigerator and from the time they installed it it has been giving me problems it does not make ice like it should i called lowes to complain and they sent a tech out and i was told to change my water flow valve which i did and it still made only and lil ice its been 8 months and im still having the same problems ive been calling the corpoorate office to complain and all i get is run around they put you on hold forever and never come back to the phone then you ask for a supervisor and they tell u let me check on it give me a min why i put u on hold and they never come back i am so upset that i cant get my refrigerator repaired anyone not to ge t
Lowes - Rude Sales Associates Review
To whom it may concern: Today ( July 18) at about 1:45 pm , I went to your store in Sandy Springs on Roswell Rd regarding a sign that I thought yourcompany would be interested in. I've attached a photo of the sign. Given what happened at this store earlier this week I thought that Lowes would be interested in the sign as a reminder for people to CHECK their cars before entering one of your stores.Obviously not only was I wrong but your "associate" was very rude and condescending to me. I believe his name was Dan and he couldn't have been more rude to me as I showed him one of my signs. I have to assume that Dan is a reflection of your overall corporate attitude towards your customers being that if the customer is'nt buying then "we ( Lowes) aint got time for that customer. I'm not upset that you arent interested in the sign. I AM UPSET at the snotty condescending reception I got from Dan, who is probably a very low level person. He showed no interest in even giving me the name of the right person at Lowes to talk to.A Lowes marketing person may be ? Dan couldnt get rid of me fast enough!! He was rude and snotty for no reason. He made me feel as if I was homeless person that had just come in off the street wanting a handout. In case you werent aware: a shopper at your Sandy Springs store left her child in her hot car while she went into your store. After a few minutes of hearing the commotion by folks trying to free the child, she ran back out to her and drove off. A store employee got her tag and she was arrested today, I believe. I saw my sign as a very simple and cheap way for Lowes to remind folks about the DEADLY consequences of leaving a child/petin a hot car. I also thought that since this story was all over the news channels down here Lowes might take advantage of providing a public service and enjoying some free "great" publicity as well. Two things are quite clear to me now. 1) Lowes doesnt give a *** about their customers 2) Lowes is penny wise and pound foolish. No one should be treated as NASTILY as I was by ANYBODY !! I am sorry that I thought my sign would help the public and therefore increase sales for you. How *** of me ! I am a retired Inv. Banker and in 30+ years in a rough and tumble business I NEVER treated ANYONE the way Dan treated me today. FYI, ther were a couple of female associates who were present as well. I had the same problem with the Lowe's in Sanford NC. What bothers me about this terribly ambiguous, confusing and inequitable policy management and execution is that it amounts to a bait and switch behavior on Lowe's part. Not to mention the embarrassing experience in dealing with them. I'm through with them.

Lowes review in Doylestown, Pennsylvania: Carpet installation
If you are a person that is looking out for American jobs don't not let Lowe's install your carpet. Three Spanish guys that could not speak a word English installed my carpet. There was no possible communicating here! Also, it sounded like they were tearing my house down and that I was living in a foreign country. Never buy flooring again from Lowe's. They are in the process of installing it. I will post layer about how the job turns out. Lowes markets like they are an American family place.? Really? Now I am listening to Spanish music. Crazy! I posted more than need to say, but am required to type100 words.
Lowes review in Doylestown, Pennsylvania: Bathroom Counter Total ***
Over two months ago we ordered a new bathroom counter top from the Lowes in Gibsonia PA. After a delay of incredible proportions, it was delivered with the sink on the wrong side. The Lowes-contracted plumber sent all the correct instructions, Lowes' vendor simply botched the order. One month later and at a 20% discount, the countertop was delivered today in the wrong color and with a chip in the backsplash. For a customer service screw- up this bad, I would expect they would have their Quality Control people in the home office personally walk this order. But no.
Lowes worst for returns
Lowes has blocked my Dr lic for too many returns....the only problem is....I've returned items maybe once or twice in a few years. I told the manager I've spent thousands of $ at his store and he just laughed and said he has contractors that complain all the time.....he didn't seem concerned. He said he had absolutely no way to override the system. I told him I would not shop at Lowes any longer and he was OK with that. With the economy as it is....you would think they would focus on customer service. I had planned to spend much more than the amount that I would have gotten on the one little return. I called the 1-800 number to see why I was blocked and they have a recording saying to leave your info and they will get back with you in 2 business days. Again....great customer service???
Lied to by Lowes again
I'm deployed with the military. My wife said the dishwasher needed to be replaced. She found what she wanted at Lowes. I told her under no circumstances to use that store in Homestead Florida. I had 2 really bad experiences with that store and was lied to both times. The Manager of the store is a real *** as well. 1st example; I attempted to buy 15K in kitchen cabinets but the sales people couldn't figure out how to order what I wanted. I left without a sale and went to another store where I endured less ***-pain. 2nd example; I custom ordered outdoor lamps. They delivered the wrong ones. I got into an argument with the sales guy who insisted they were the correct ones and I couldn't return them. I had to call the corporate HQ to get my money back after the manager ignored me. Now.. here is one for a sitcom: After telling my wife not order the dishwasher she does anyway. Oh boy, I told her to put me on skype when its delivered because this is going to be a circus. Wrong item again!She calls the sales guy who lies and says my wife ordered what was delivered and she will expect it as delivered! What? Then the Manager gets on the phone (Phillip "el payaso" y un mentiroso) and tells my wife to give him a few days to find the one she wanted. He asks what she wanted for compensation, she hesitates and says free installation. Phillip "el payaso" looses it and yells at my wife that the delivery guy told her to say that and he tells her to say he's fired!! WTF. Are these people for real!! Like my wife is going to fire a Lowes employee LOL. You can't make this stuff up. But, it is the culture of South Florida.
