You leave out a lot of detail. Exactly how did you loose $300 in frozen food?

What was the reason for the delay? Was it because the manufacturer didn't deliver the refrigerator to them when it was due?

If you need an appliance urgently make sure it is in stock at the location you are purchasing it from and ready for delivery. If it isn't there is always a chance for a delay in delivery.

Lowes in Temple, Pennsylvania - Horrible management team

Details
I've shopped this store for years, in the past 8 months the Vincennes,Indiana store has gone straight to ***. People are being bullied by the store manager & by his assistants. Longtime employees are being pushed out. The 'older' employees are having hours drastically cut. People being fired after they have had a health issue. Not to mention the management staff stalks the employees thru social media. Then there's that fact that this store is built on a TOXIC land. About 13 women have had miscarriages or still born babies. I hope there will be a massive lawsuit started against Lowe's & especially against this store manager Martin Wagner is his name. I will continue to complain till something is done about this. You should be ashamed.

DuBois Pa Lowes Bad service

3.0
Details
All I can say is that the Lowes in DuBois Pa is absolutely the worst store on the planet. Today was the last straw when I was struggling to lift a hot water tank off the shelf myself and 3 employees walk right past me and never offered me assistance. Then I figured out why. When I was walking out of the store and I looked at the picture of the store manager Jon on the wall, he was one of the employees who walked past me. If the leader is portraying this behavior the rest of the employees will follow that example. Its extremely disappointing that the leadership not only condones this but also participates in it. Its no wonder everyone complains about going to this store. It's pretty bad when you hear more people complaining about the local Lowes than about the local walmart. Good luck Lowes. You have officially lost my business.

You have no idea of where they were going or what they were doing. Could be they were trying to solve a problem for another customer.

I take it you didn't need help badly enough to open your mouth and ask for assistance. I work in retail (not at Lowes) and there are times when you need to go to another part of the store to get something for a customer.

And sometimes it is big enough that you may get help to go with you. Unfortunately you can't expect your customer to wait while you stop and help everyone you pass on your way.

@Anonymous

How about you at a minimum, acknowledge the customer and tell them your currently working with a customer and you will be back to help them as soon as your finished with the current customer? That would be a lot better than just walking past and not saying a word.

Lowes in Matamoras, Pennsylvania - Veterans Beware!

Went to Lowes in Maramoras, PA today. When I got to the register the girl said they can no longer accept my veterans card. I told her that they took it 2 months ago, but now it's the wrong one. She contacted a manager and the manager said the same thing with no explanation as to why. There was a long line at the register and I was very embarrassed. Other customers commented that Lowes should accept my card. One guy even offered to pay for my whole purchase. I thank those recognize vets.

Lowes - Manager Review from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

I'm a disabled vet. I was denied the ten percent discount at check out. I left after paying full price for the items I called customer service and they got me the discount.. however.. when I went back into the store the lady who originally denied me the discount stormed over sayingi checked your Id your not disabled what's wrong with you anyway.. I felt like I was in war all over again pinned down receiving fire and just exhausted out of ammo and not want I g to go through it.. the nice lady at the customer service did her best to explain what had happened and why I receive the discount but what was the front end manager continued to attack me as she pounded the refund into the computer. When she was done double tapping me in the skull she simply stepped passed my beaten corps and continued on the war path... can Lowes please educate the employees on the discount policy.. vets get ten percent during holidays disabled vets get ten percent always. Now once I was done getting attacked I looked at the customer service rep smiled and said wow she's a real nice lady. She smiled back and apologised for what I had just gone through. I told her it wasn't her that should be apologising . I left called the customer service line again filed a complaint and haven't heard back from anyone thanks Lowes for caring about our vets ( sarcasticly) please help your staff to know that not all disabled people are visibly disabled

Lowes in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania - Didn't contact me for an estimate

I paid for a floor estimate and it took two week for them to call me. I had to call them and they jerked me around. The sub contractor after measuring the floor never supplied the estimate. I complained and then after a week of calling he said my mositure content was to high to install the floor. Why didn't the sub contractor call the day he proclaimed he found the problem. The reason is clear he was mad I complained about him. I asked for a new subcontractor. I asked Lowe's for the estimate since I paid for it and never received one. Very poor service from the Lowe's store manager flooring sales person and fly by night sub contractors.

Lowes in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - A JOKE to work at.

Ok here goes i work for lowes the last 3 years now and i have seen alot of turn over at the store. And alot of great hard workers goes cause of the false accusations they were given to them. 3 former employees have lawsuits against the store i work at and i Wish them lots of luck. the people at the store i work at,have lots of complaints but no one will come forward and say anything. its SAD!! when we had the District Manager or some big wig come into our lunchroom and ask us if we were happy wit the Customer focous,i told him point blank I was just a cashier and i was there to do my job not participate in anything that place has to offer. they say they are there for there employees but they are NOT!! they are a Joke. and there LP people leave alot to be diesire, casue i was taught in Orientation that we are NOT ALLOWED to put our hands on potenial robbers and there LP(Loss Prevention) IS A JOKE. the store i work at Our LP Person comes in With HIGH HEELS on and she is a "Barbie Doll",and well if that SECURITY,She is a JOKE....more later on..

You should be lucky that Lowes hired someone with a third grade education level. Everyone knows that you begin proper nouns with a capital letter, and begin the pronoun with a capital letter.

You can't even spell cause correctly, not can you spell focus. Frankly most companies require at least some high school education before hiring.

No other company would hire someone with a third grade education such as yourself. I bet this is the only reason you are not quitting because other companies rejected you and told you they were looking for someone with at least some high school education.

Well Big Mama, you must not work at Lowes. Or if you do or did, you must kiss alot of ***.

What he says is correct. I have been there also.

Yes I have an education, unlike you. Just wondering, are you the ignorant toad on the REPO show?

Anonymous
#201303

Sounds like its time for you take your *** attitude and find work elsewhere. Obvioulsy, if you had any education, you'd be more that a cashier, with possible potential to move up, instead, your a whinny *** with an even shittier atittude, don't let the door hit your huge *** on the way out.

Lowes in Erie, Pennsylvania - Paint can lid not put back on tightly

I had a quart of paint mixed at Lowe's. Checked out they put it in a plastic bag. I got out of my car at home, grabbed the bag walked into my garage. The bag ripped. The can fell out.. you guessed it.. lid not secure paint went everywhere. I had black jeans on. They are now splattered in paint. I went thru 2 rolls of paper towels cleaning up the excess paint. I went in and called the store where I purchased the paint. Asked for the manager, explained what had happened and his reply to me was "What do you want me to do about it?" I was amazed at his lack of concern. Not I am sorry Maam I will gladly replace your paint. I am going to the store today with empty paint can in hand and sure hope that I experience better customer service than I had on the phone.

It was a quart can of paint not a gallon and LOWES put it in the bag why wouldn't I think I could carry it in the freaking bag. LOWEs did not secure the lid after they mixed it.

Really? I am guessing you are the *** manager I talked to.

Anonymous
#62058

Why were you carrying the bag where it could rip? Shouldn't you have been holding the bottom of the can?

I am all for stores taking responsibility, but if you drop a can of paint, the lid is going to come off...

now, if it had just turned over and the lid came off you might have a better argument... I hope they didn't give your money back and told you not to go back to the store

Anonymous
#1011753
@Really?

i agree. Dropping a can of paint the lid is going to come off from the pressure.

No matter if lid was secure or not. Stuff happens

Anonymous
#17862

If you drop a can of paint, the lid will come off. If you drop a glass bottle of milk, the glass bottle will break.

Thin plastic bags rip, gravity takes over. Pilot error, pure and simple really.

You dropped a can of paint and it opened. Big surprise there.

If you went to the grocery store and dropped your gallon of milk and it opened would that be the managers fault to. Talk responsibility for your own actions, it was your fault.
