Lowes review in Oaks, Pennsylvania: Rebate Gift Card Scam
We purchased a Samsung kitchen appliance suite back in June of 2017. There was a $300 rebate offer, which we qualified for. After two months of waiting for the rebate, we called them multiple times and were told it was being processed. We checked on line and it says it was being processed. We even had the Lowe's store manager call them and couldn't get an answer. We just received the rebate gift card in the mail today, six months later, and the card had already expired in January. Called the support call center and they say they can't do anything. They even said that they had no records of us calling. What kind of company does something like this? Sounds like a big scam. Person at the call center was not helpful at all and told us that we let the card expire.

My experience with Lowes' warranty or lack thereof left me irate and frustrated. When I bought the warranty the MANAGER told me I get a free oil change on my lawn mower every year. NOT TRUE. When I bought the warranty the MANAGER told me if anything ever goes wrong they'd come pick it up. NOT TRUE. I bought a Troy Bilt TB280 ES 190-cc 21-in lawnmower less than a year ago. It stopped working. I spent about $250 on it. My previous lawn mower was a cheap battery powered mower I probably bought for $150 from Walmart which lasted me about three and a half years. Lowes calls me after holding my lawnmower for a week to tell me that the cost of the repairs would be $172! Almost what I paid for it! They said I needed a new carburetor and battery. I asked why in the world a carburetor and a battery wouldn't be covered when I have owned this thing less than a year. They said it wasn't and I'd have to pay. I asked that wouldn't a reasonable expectation be that these things would last a year? She was no help nor empathetic. At this point I told her to keep the lawn mower. I will NEVER buy another mower or expensive piece of equipment from LOWES. I will NEVER touch another Troy Bilt anything in my life. I have just never heard of such a thing.Review

Lowes review in Oaks, Pennsylvania: Bathroom Renovation - no customer service; schedules not kept
I am very dissatisfied with Lowes on the beginning of our bathroom renovation. It took forever for the "design" to be finalized; there was supposed to be calls made to us before the product was delivered to our home; no calls were made. My husband and I had to call Lowes so that they could contact their 3rd party shipper. Lowes made a big deal about this great pre-construction meeting that they have with 2 of their folks and the contractor, insisted that it had to be the morning before the reno was supposed to start and that it would be 15 minutes. None of this was accurate and the reno did not start on the scheduled date anyway. My husband and I thought that going thru Lowes would be an easier way to get this done. I would never recommend Lowes for this - I'd rather just deal directly with the contractor. There has been major lack of communication between the 2 Lowes employees and the contractor and incorrect info as well. A very poorly run program!

Lowes review in Oaks, Pennsylvania: Don't believe their timely manner, same day install guarentee for a hot water heater
Called Lowes on Saturday at noon due to hot water heater going out and flooding the downstairs. Picked out new heater and they said they would install Monday or Tuesday, but would call on Monday. Monday comes, no word. Called to find out, got transferred from department to department, no one was picking up-kept going back to customer service. Noone knows what is going on and everyone seems to have an attitude. Finally got ahold of someone in plumbing, they had no clue what was going on but said they would find out and call back. No call. Come Tuesday at noon, still no call. We called them, they asked "when do you want it installed?" We said now. They go to call installer and call back saying he is booked all week, they can maybe get him out Thursday. We cancelled the order. 2 words: Home Depot.

They did the same thing to us. Once we got a physical card it was bogus! I will never buy another product from them again.
I found the first response extremely insightful. I believe his (what I imagine to be a he) use of Screw various, and creative.
They screwed me also one year later I’m out $150 return the stuff don’t believe you will get it they screwed me till it was past the 90 day point of return. They are going to loose a lot of business not only you got screwed
