So instead of saying to the folks at the service desk could I get assistance in aisle 22 you approach with a nasty attitude and start giving a cashier *** about something they cant help. You are a typical jackwad.

Take your money to so and so. Who really cares about your whimpering and bawling!!

I want I want every *** day then you got the nuts to *** online about it. You disgust normal hard working sales people.

Put yourself in the poor saps shoes that has to stand there and take your *** all day long. Stop being so needy and ask for help instead of expecting someone to wipe your nose for you.

Lowes in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Therma Tru Door

Our door looks fine on the outside but the bottom portion of the side lighting is a different color. So cheap composite plastic. Can't paint it to. nothing will stick to it. No where in the documentation does it say it would be a different color or material. This sticks out like a sore thumb. Everyone who has seen it say it is an eye sore. To add salt to my injury, Therma Tru states there is no defect or issue with the door. Just spent 4 grand on a door that looks cheap and poor. Therma Tru states they would supply a crown type molding to go over the defective piece. If I do that it will never match. Why does Therma Tru put such a piece on ther door. According to them it is to make it structurally sound. This is definitely a defect they are tryiong to cover up. HELP

I am having the same issue. Lowe's installed the door last week and company reps will be looking at the installation next week.

Was your problem solved?

I have 2 doors that have a vinyl outer face. This acts as the nailing fin and J channel for the siding.

Why why why does therma tru NOT weld this vinyl. Both of my doors leak. Costing me and my builder lots of time and money. After countless failed solutions.

I had the the company's REP out. And there solution was to add an extra "Flashing" piece.

I am extremely disappointed with the quality of these doors. :(

Dear Customer,

We appreciate your feedback concerning the standard trim piece that is on the bottom of your sidelites. The light oak trim piece will allow your door to function normally and is not used to make the door structurally sound. The door system is not defective.

This standard trim piece can be stained. To stain, lightly sand the trim piece and apply your stain. We will be happy to compensate you for a piece of molding and also provide you with stain. Please contact us to receive this compensation at 866-584-3668.

Do not buy carpet from Lowes, bad installers

I bought a new home and went to Lowes in Holmdel, NJ for many of the installations and purchases. First off the sales people on the floor told me I did not qualify to use a 10% coupon I had because I was buying a "custom order" product.I found out they were wrong and am battling to get a refund. Then the installers they sent to install my carpet were rude, installed seams poorly and hacked at the corners and along the moulding. (wished I could upload a picture here). When I complained I was told "too bad you ordered a white carpet seams never look right on those" and your moulding is interfering with the carpet laying right. Who are they kidding? I live in a development with 2000 homes in it, am I to believe everyone else is happy with carpeting looking chopped up along the moulding? Do yourself a favor and go to a local retailer who cares whether you are a happy customer or not and who hires and trains professionals rather than the 3rd party hacks Lowes contracts.

We purchased a major brand refrigerator and dryer recently from Lowes thinking they were new products. But gives the problems we are having with both products we are convinced neither is a new products.

Both were manufactured one in 2002 and the other was manufactured in 2003. They were both sold as new, but we believe they are both refurbished because they are not functioning properly.

We have complained and complained, but have gotten little cooperation. We will not be buying another product from Lowes.

You should be lucky that Lowes hired someone with a third grade education level. Everyone knows that you begin proper nouns with a capital letter, and begin the pronoun with a capital letter.

You can't even spell cause correctly, not can you spell focus. Frankly most companies require at least some high school education before hiring.

No other company would hire someone with a third grade education such as yourself. I bet this is the only reason you are not quitting because other companies rejected you and told you they were looking for someone with at least some high school education.

Lowes in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Poor Customer Service

My husband and I are remodelling our home so I am a frequent customer to Lowe's 2385 in Sayre, PA. After my encounter yesterday with the woman at the return desk I had to say something. It was a simple cash return as always and yet her attitude is always very unpleasant, never a hello or have a good day. As you first enter the store, she glares at you. Her name is Elaina and she has a nasty attitude to go along with her tattoos. Not someone I would want representing my store. Management should rethink their employees.

maybe someone needs to figure out that a company like Lowe's is not set up to do jobs right. They are not accountable for their subs the way a local store is. www.chooseacoop.com

Mr. or Mrs. Lowe's,

You are some kind of Hippocrates. Being an ASM you are fully aware of the line that is drawn in Lowe's by the fundamental attitude of the upper management to our employees. If you refuse to admit it exists, then you are a perfect example of why there is a negative response by so many employees.

Years ago it was rare to have an employee complain about pay being unfair for their work requirements. This was because we would hire individuals based, truly on their ability to explain and the knowledge they could offer. Our Sale's team was, until 6 years ago, more respected and encouraged to perform than the department Manager or team lead. The reason is because we held a greater value on being a truly sales oriented culture.

We wanted and needed individuals who could work with multiple vendors, be responsible for everything with that area of the department while the other individuals were responsible for support and over all stock product. These individuals were called "specialist" for a reason and often made more than the lower manager positions as well as some upper (dependant on location and store) because we all relied on them. They would only be responsible to answer to the Sales Mg. Ops. Mg. or Store Mgr. Lowe's as a "family" culture was able to experience far more employee and vendor satisfaction then it currently rates. Once we adopted the "Dictator Mg Style" it has been unavoidably on a decline. We simply can't offer our customers the same type of service, without having a willingness to lean on and support and properly manage individuals whom are able to develop relationships with customers and have the motivation (spiffs and or bonus), freedom (no pressure from employees to keep them from customer tasks), and respect they all deserve.

Upper management will continue to sacrifice customer focus for their bonus because our system is no longer a "checks and balances" system in order to promote the best overall business satisfaction. This new direction seems terrific on paper, however, having so few individuals decide what is best for every store in every culture (Dictatorship not Leadership) is stripping us of our overall appreciation to the communities we service.

So, here's a suggestion, next time you are in you "upper" mangment meeting, try to convince yourselves that the store would end up fuctioning better if we actually filled every spot that is alocated by your matrix. STOP cutting out the man hours to help your bonus. One day there will be a return of a concept where we had to release 3/4s of all store managment because of the addiction that they had developed in sacrificing customer service for there "Fake earned" bonus. I would completely support that to occure again. as well as the reversal of this new failed focus to better our numbers at our slacking on our customers. We continue to digg *** that we may not be able to climb out of.

Lowes in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Lousy product supplier

90% of the time i shop at lowes i can not find the product needed. it seems that they need more educated people too order the right products. if you are lucky too find what you need . you cannot find any of the accesories to go with it.i am talking about every day items. plus the store i deal with is the only supplier in the area. or i would shop other places. they drove out the other building suppliers. and now they cannot stock the right supplies. also do not even try to ask an employee a question. they do not have a clue as to what you are asking 60% of the time

Bill Lowes isnt the only person that sells poulan so its not their fault...yet another example of someone being ignorant about whats going on? People shop where the best service and prices are..so if any small business wants to compete then they have to be friendlier and have better prices.

and for your question about dept.

jobs..they have people in every dept and they are trained for that dept. It would be impossible for someone to know everything about every dept....but of course it sounds like you wouldnt need any help anyway because you obviously know everything!

Keep the local little guys in business! These major chains are here one day out the next. I agree, they should hire people that know what their selling.

The computers may be ordering what is selling but, someone has to be the buyer, whoever they are, they should keep quality in mind also. These stores claim to be here to service us. Why is there 40 employees walking around, why is there different department jobs???? Because they are hired to sell us what we need or there wouldnt be a need for them.I purchased 2 different pieces of outdoor power equipment from Lowes, a blower and a chain saw. The blower never started and the chainsaw was just plain dangerous.

Never go up into a tree with a poulan. Shop local service is great and they stand behind what they sell.

The computer automatically orders stock when it runs out. What exactly was it you were looking for...the truth be known it probably wasnt an everyday item...and most times its the customer that is uneducated or just misinformed about what they are doing and they blame it on the worker for not agreeing with what they think they need! I shop there all the time and I'm never surprised at how ignorant some people are and how they act because an item is out or the employee doesnt know exactly what they need...but yet they dont even know what they need.
