I can not believe how appliances delivered by lowes are all damaged

The original delivery date was 9/30/18. Today is 10/13/18. That's 14 days. I ordered an electric stove to be delivered to one of our tenants. The order number is 356900168. A stove was delivered and it is damaged and it’s the wrong stove and it’s damaged. I was working with an Allison yesterday. She contacted someone at store 2378 in Philadelphia. She made arrangements to remove the damaged and incorrect stove and install the correct stove on 1013/18 all in the same day. This has been an extremely frustrating experience. The level of incompetence is unbelievable. Today I was told for some unknown reason the stove was not put on the truck and there was no plan to pick up the damaged stove. We were called last night to tell us that between 8:30 and 10:30 all this would happen. Nobody seems to know what is going on. Remember by tomorrow it will be 14 days to get a correct stove delivered and installed. Finally, the delivered the correct stove and it's physically damaged and the connection for the power cord is also damaged.

I ordered kitchen cabinets and granite counters on May 30th. I picked out the granite around the 2nd week in June. They came to make the template the week after. Lowe's called me the next day to say the price would be over $700 more than I paid. I asked why and he said the template came out different than what we ordered. The Lowe’s associate did all of the design and measurements so there was no reason for it to be off, I purchased the entire kitchen plus cabinets at the same time. I got everything through Lowe's and I had nothing to do with measuring or set up. I even brought my contractor in to talk to the designer. I told them it wasn't my fault they made a mistake, it went on what you designed and if she measured wrong that didn't have anything to do with me. I ordered them because they were affordable and now he was saying they were going to cost 33% MORE than I was told!! That's a HUGE mistake and difference in price. So he said he would talk to a manager and get back to me. I heard nothing for a week so I call back. They decide to have a new template done. Fine but I'm not paying. Then I heard nothing else for a week. I call again last Friday and the manager was familiar with the problem and said she would call the fabricators and have us rushed because I have no kitchen and I've been doing dishes in my BATHTUB. The fabricators call today and said she can't get us in til the end of NEXT WEEK!! this has been the most horrible experience I've had during my renovation. I have two kids home, we eat out almost every night because we can't wash dishes and have no running water except in the bathroom and it's going to be a MONTH living like this. It's costing me a fortune not to mention the stress two months after I paid all I keep hearing is next week, next week. I have called & texted SO MANY TIMES. This is INSANE!!!!!! Someone DO SOMETHING

Heating/AC unit installed by Monk's through Lowe's contract about 10/14. AC worked fine in beginning but now runs almost continuously without providing much in the way of cooling. Takes all day to bring temp down to 74 and seems to run slower, less efficient at night. Called Monk's last year and they just paid no attention whatever to complaint. No call back, no service. Lowe's just passes the buck to Monk's so it looks like a vicious circle. Also don't think much of heat pump base they built. Pictures are of the base of heat pump outside house. They (Monk's) had a problem in the beginning of installation which they fixed but service after, in my opinion, was sadly lacking!Sad

Chances are very good that the original installer doesn't work for Lowe's anymore and is not responsible for it. The box stores go through installers like crazy because the installers eventually figure out that they are making about half as much money working through the box stores as they would if they weren't. They actually end up making about 40% of what they could because the box stores end up taking the rest for themselves.

Your solution is to have a local plumbing and heating firm take a look at it. That's the bottom line.

I learned long ago to NOT have anything done thru a big box store like Home Depot, Lowe's, etc. because you know nothing about the contractors they hire and, as in your situation everyone denies responsibility for poor work.

Best always to hire a local company that is in business for itself and relies on doing good work in order to stay in business. As around if you need to in order to find a good HVAC company.

Lowes in Monroeville, Pennsylvania - Closing my account

I know a lot of people agreed that lowes/synchrony did the right thing when they closed my account. but I just don't understand why they did it at the time they did it. my son got into my banking account, I don't know how, and cleaned it out !! the hardest thing I had to do, was to get things back on track.my other creditors worked with me. and when I finally got everything fixed up, and at first, my payments, sometimes a little late, were being paid. then when everything was on time, caught up, and I was feeling pretty good, because we did without a lot of things, this was hard. I was making my payments, then BAM ! I get letter in mail saying after a review, synchrony said I wasn't good enough for them.. I cried and then, I thought *** on them. I was more hurt because they waited till things started going well, and then tossed me out.

When you applied for your account there would have been a lot of fine print on the application. In the fine print it tells you that from time to time they may review your credit.

I would expect that they checked your current credit rating and found they fell below what is an acceptable credit risk for them. They aren't to blame, it is your son that got into your accounts that you should be blaming, not the credit companies, they didn't ruin your credit.

Don’t take it personally. I think we all go through tough situations like this at least once in our lifetime.

Cut up the credit card, pay off the debt and say good riddance. In six months they will be sending you offers to open up another account.

I make it ritual to burn the offers and say “Take your 29+% interest and shove it”. Now that...is a good feeling!

I had a lowes sales person come to my house in the first week of june...He told me it would be up to six weeks before instulation....really ....here it is 8/30/2018....no fencing has been installed...this is the third date for instulation...called contracter...no return call..called project manager ....yesterday and i am waiting for a instulation date...called the coporate manager today ..I AM STILL WAITING FOR A DATE....i am not happy with any of this...i will no longer deal with the project manager....my jeep is parked near the street because of how the placed the fencing pieces...my jeep is being scratched by the kids who play outside...

Call Lowe's and cancel the order. Tell them they need to come and get their materials.

If you paid via credit card then tell them to credit the total you paid. If they don't then file a dispute, etc. for services not received. Then, find a local fence installer on your own and have it done.

Lowe's relies on the sub contractor, who appears to be unwilling, for whatever reason to actually install the fence. Not your problem.

I couldn't agree with the other review more. Working with Lowes and Heartland has been *** Lowes charged us for the work prior to it being done. The installer canceled several times. The manager came out and promised us a free ramp installation for our hassle, but he never gave the installer the material. When we called abouy the ramp, they scheduled a time to come and did not show. I also just found a nail sticking through the door. In addition, the rood on the shed leaks.

Soooo your complaint should be with Valspar as that is their product. Lowe’s is a retail store that sells products that they purchased in bulk directly from manufacturers.

They do not manufacture paint or anything else for that matter in the back room. If they did they would need a much MUCH bigger building.

LOWE'S sucks! had a deck installed in 2011. it has been falling apart ever since, split boards, separated areas on railing, spindles bent, the hanger brackets that support the deck underneath have separated near the entry door. boards not cut even. several steps had to be replaced within 2 months, but not all were replaced. cracked where they put screws,Lowe's refused to correct some issues, very bad customer service, deck was very expensive, not worth it!! I do not recommend them! i requested a supervisor to come out and re-inspect the deck problem, they refused. most of my calls were ignored by the manager.

Your problem was in having Lowe's or any big box retailer install the deck. They don't use the most competent contractors at these stores.

The other problem was in actually installing a deck----nice to look at for the first year, but then it starts falling apart and needs maintenance, etc. An all around pain in the backside.
