I have a washer I purchased 02/07 with a extented warranty thru next year 2011. I called customer service on Mon 11/01/10 to report a claim.
After 5 days of calling I finally was able to get one person "Annie" to help me. I was continuously lied to each day after devoting 1 - 2 hours a day trying to get someone to help me. The same line was given each day the "team" had to look into it and I would get a reply within 24 hours. One representative Ronald "Ron" even complained about what an inconvenience I had been to him.
The end result was, because of recent heart surgery, I had to hire 2 men to come to my home, load it in my truck, and I carried it 90 miles roundtrip to get someone to fix it....I have bought my LAST appliance from Lowes and will devote any spare time to encouraging others to do so, also. This isn't a threat, but a promise.
Monetary Loss: $900.
