Lowes - Lowe's "Special Order" return fees: Why the 20% penalty?
I ordered a custom door that arrived in the wrong shade. I don't understand why I have to pay a penalty for their mistake.

Lowes has a very low rating! I will not buy anything there over $10. They did not consider my last purchase for about $10 that had a bolt that the head come off before it could even be tightened. Had to rebuy the toilet kit. That's shameful! Home Depot is the clear winner; I buy anything over $10 there now.
Good luck complaining, you may want to consider refinishing it yourself or paying a painter. There are some places you learn to avoid. Lowes is one of em. Only if there is no other choice.
