And by right thing you mean resolved in your favor right? Ok firstly you provide no info on when you made the original purchase.

That information is kind of important. As all your claims start from the date you made the first claim. If you claim that the product was replaced once already then you have no extended warranty on the second replacement. I mean no fresh warranty.

You will still be going by the year manufacturers warranty from the first unit, no extra time is allotted. If the second unit failed after the first year of the first warranty. It sounds like this is the case, in which they would have already fulfilled their legal obligation by replacing it the first time. You can’t expect Lowe’s to pay for or replace a item they didn’t manufacture.

That has to be taken up with the company that makes the item directly by you, not Lowe’s. I’m not defending them by any means, just pointing out a slight flaw in your logic. Extended warranties only repair and then replace of it can’t be repaired. Then you would get a prorated price or credit towards another appliance.

Normally in the form of a gift card that can only be used at Lowe’s. I tell you all of this because I had a similar issue with a fridge. I had to learn their legal speak and read all of the fine print.

It’s always best to educate yourself on exactly what your rights are with any warranty. Too many people wrongly assume that a warranty means you get a bright new shine whatever when the reality is much different.

I doubt we are hearing the entire story. Were proper water lines and electrical connections ready for installation?

If not they can not "install" it.

I would also guess they took it back to the store based on something you said to them. They could have easily left it without installing it but were probably told you didn't want it if they weren't installing it.

Did you look at the weight rating of the shelf unit? A light weight shelf made for light hobby or craft supplies isn't made to hold heavy cans.

Never again will I buy from Lowe's. I bought a stove that I purchased the warranty for. There was an issue with the stove that I had the repairman come out to "fix" six times. Six days I had to take off of work for this. The warranty is now up and the problem is continuing. When I called Lowe's warranty number I was told basically I'm out of luck. I believe if the problem started during the warranty period and the fact that either the stove is a lemon or the repairman are not competent they should make good on the warranty that I paid for. So much for the "protection" you get from purchasing these warranties. Best to not fall for the scam and when the appliance breaks after the manufacturer's warranty runs out just buy another. You will save money in the long run---and much aggravation, too.

Ordered cabinets in Sept 2019 Kraft maid. Came in before Halloween, so much wrong had two cabinets sales people come out end of Oct. Reordered. Things started coming in incorrect. Three Lowes employees came out day before thanksgiving said they would reorder, its Jan 13th, was sent all the wrong things again. Plus three things coming in two weeks. If you haven't noticed retail stores across the board are cutting staff. That means there are fewer people to help customers whether it be in the store or on the phone.

As a former retail employee I would always help the customer standing in front of me in the store before the person on the phone. You are much more likely to make a sale to the person who took the time to drive to the store than someone shopping on the phone.

If you want to shop from your home or office most retailers have web sites you can use. Unfortunately in todays age of low cost on-line suppliers stores just can't afford to pay employees to talk on the phone.

been trying to get a ice maker they installed the one they installed is now leaking, bought a new fridge and ice maker kit spent over 800.00 and can not get any help, nobody answers the phone. be on hold over 33 min one time again 45 min. this place sucks, go to home depot to buy anything, i know i am. they just lost my biz, i have over 38 rental homes.

No need to bother with a big box store. Amazon has ice makers for most brands and will deliver them to your home in 2 days.

my pin was entered wrong supposedly in my Lowes rebate which was texted to me. So supposedly it was locked from the wrong pin. At first, I was told it takes 24-48 hours to reset. Spent literally 45 minutes on hold waiting for customer service twice. Finally called the main customer service and got a call back after two hours. They texted me my rebate again but the pin wasn't changed so i questioned that. I was told oh its the same pin nothing changes. Still, couldn't use my remaining balance. Now I've been told it takes a week for the pin to reset. Its just absolutely ridiculous.

write to Lowe’s Corporate and I guarantee you will receive a reply. 2018 we purchased cabinets through Lowe’s and the *** that installed was exactly that.

These cabinets were Kraftmade semi custom and there was little about the install job that was good. I wrote a 5 page letter detailing everything and a month later a woman with corporate called. We talked & I sent photos and when we returned home in spring she had a top notch installer come to home, inspect and order all new cabinets, trim etc.. It was a happy ending.

I urge you to take photos and mail in a letter, not email to corporate. Good luck.
