I purchased a Samsung refrigerator, Model #RFJBEDBSG/AA, in Oct 2016, with the extended warranty. The refrigerator ice maker was serviced several times and found to be defective by the tech and was suppose to be a full replacement per Lowe's warranty.

I was told by Lowe's full replacement would not be authorized. I paid $3000 for this refrigerator with the extended warranty thinking the company would keep their word about replacement.

This is just plain poor customer service. I have purchased numerous Samsung products over the years and it is apparent I should probably move on to another company in the future.

Product or Service Mentioned: Lowes Warranty.

you have an issue with Samsung here and not Lowe's. They didn't manufacture the refrigerator so how are they responsible for the quality of it?

And the extended warranty is from a third party, so if you have a complaint about that you'll need to contact them. Lowe's really doesn't have anything to do with you issue and that is why they aren't doing anything to help you.

All they do is SELL the refrigerator. This is how they can be "cheaper" than the locally owned appliance stores that have been put out of business by people like you!


*** that is Lowes Full Warranty! They are responsible for that fridge! If they can't stand behind the warranty then they should not be sellin it!


I think that everyone should take their crap, non-working right refrigerators from Sears and clandestinely drop them off in front of the Goodwill and Salvation Army thrift stores under cover of darkness.
