I bought a brand new washer from Lowes on 13201 Ranch 620 North bldg G Austin TX. The washer was delivered about 1:00 PM on 8/16/2017. The delivery people started the washer immediately it started leaking. After several times calling the store on 8/16/17, I was told they will contact me. I was never contacted on 8/16/17. I called on 8/17/17 about 7:00 AM and spoke to Daniel Gonzales, to give me when people will come and fix the problem (the washer was already paid in full and money for 5 years of maintenance waranty ). He complained repeatedly about my accent and I am not listening what he has to say. After speaking with for 15 minutes, I still did not a time frame for the appointment. He told he will call me does not know when he will call me?? Just a warning to customers that the Lowes stores get fully paid and you are on your own.

If it's an item stocked in the store there is no reason to order it online. Just get in you vehicle, go to the store and buy it.

It always takes more time to purchase an item online than it does to just go i and buy it. You'll also be sure it is the right product.

Lowes - Kitchen remodel  & design
Almost 3 months ago this hellacious process started. The tear out and install should have taken a month at most. I have drawers that hit the handles of opposing drawers which prevents them from opening up all the way and I have TWO different styles of cabinets!! I paid for the expensive Kraft maid brand and what they sent was something less. The entire process has been a nightmare and Lowes and it's upper management chose to not stand behind the customer much less their work. DO NOT Do business with Lowes for kitchen remodels much less design. I reached out to the CEO and actually got a response from someone at corporate however they finally responded and said they won't help me.

I understand your anger, truly.

What I will say is simply this... the old adage of " you catch more flies with honey then with vinegar" could not be more true.

Keep consistent, but stay understanding.

You will get results. They may take time.

What you have to understand is when it comes to Installed Sales... These Installers are chosen by corporate and not the store, and they sign very specific contracts with how and what they will do.

At times many installers are scheduled multiple weeks out. So for them to immediately stop and return to your home would set a ripple that would impact dozens others. Sadly we cant force the installers to fix or change anything.

Its much like getting hit by someone with out insurance...

it happens but you at no fault of your own are left with all the costs... now imagine this in the contexts of peoples home's. An average Lowe's installed department goes into 23 peoples homes a day. That's 115 peoples projects a week.

Even at a 95% completions success rate. Incidents happen.

Lowe's will always make it right, but they try not to just open up the register and throw money at a problem... often times the process is long due to them holding the installers responsible.

Very wise advice. Being a senior citizen makes for lots of exasperating experiences with installers, but we find that kindness while angry is a skill difficult to employ.

We have been waiting for a Lowes installer for a month to get the fence up. :)

If you look at the picture you see a basic design error. The designer didn't place a filler next to a blind corner cabinet. Who ever drew the kitchen was either new or in a rush and skipped the required filler.

I purchased tile flooring and was told a few weeks after I had not ordered enough and would have to pay more to get the remainder of the tile. I questioned the employee about the square footage THEIR installation contractor quoted. I was then told I had ordered enough but there was a mistake with a different house using our flooring. Essentially, my tile was used in another house and had I. It questioned, I would have paid for their mistake. Even still they had to order new tile for me which added another week of waiting. Delivery date arrives. I'd like to note the store location "added" free delivery for our trouble. I was told I would get a call the night before to confirm delivery. I did not. Then, I was tried to cancel delivery. However, I was told the delivery manager had no way of contacting the delivery truck. I would have to tell the delivery man to return the material. He called me when he was sitting in my driveway (not 30 minutes before like I was told). He had to return my flooring and he was not pleased. At this point, I plan to visit the store to explain my frustration and cancel my purchase. I've had many conversations with corporate. At no point did they offer to help solve this issue. I simply get, sorry you're having to deal with this. We will sent the complaint to the store. I could not be more displeased and my business will be taken ANYWHERE but lowes.

A type a cut I have done many times in my life... no big deal .. as I went to the men's restroom to clean up the mess I made an lowes employee asked if he could help, I said, no thanks... 'embarrassed'.. As I was cleaning the bleeding, he came in with bandages and sterilized wipes..... I wanted to thank him... So tell your people .. thanks

Their website states they can deliver lumber AS SOON AS TOMORROW - this is not true, 3 orders in a row I have been told they can not deliver for up to a WEEK after the order. The Lowe's 1-800 # told me it was my fault , I should have read the terms and conditions...."I'm sorry you failed to read the terms and conditions" MAYBE YOU SHOULD STOP MISLEADING YOUR CUSTOMERS! Once, they said it couldn't be delivered so I offered to pick it up instead. They refunded my delivery fee - after spending about 1.5hrs driving to a friends to borrow a trailer, I get a call from Lowe's saying the delivery was on its way - make up your mind people! Twice, they called and told me the delivery driver called in sick - but 2 hours later I see my neighbors up the street getting appliances delivered.......FROM LOWES Third, this time the delivery team is backed up for a week and a half..... The store was nice enough to refund my delivery fee the first two times, but today being the THIRD instance and not being able to get my lumber for 9 days after ordering I am done doing business with this Lowe's.

HOW IS THIS COMPANY STILL IN BUSINESS? Placed order online, waited several hours ( I should have gone in a shopped for it myself, but figured since they offer a service I should try it out.) Big mistake. Called local Lowes they were more than happy to cancel my order since they were so busy. I drove to the store to find out why my online order still shows in process and validate the *** claim they were busy. Sure enough, empty store with employees standing around talking and conversing with each other. No concerted effort to offer any assistance or acknowledge any customer in the store, there were about 15 of us in the store. That's not busy by any standards. Left and drove 28 miles each way to The Home Depot to get fulfill my needs. FYI - they never canceled the order so I was double charged. Pathetic experience. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR MONEY. Apathy should be painful - ie closing stores and people losing jobs when they don't provide a quality service.

Lowes in Aransas Pass, Texas - Avoiding price match with online by falsely claiming different items

Lowes tries to avoid meeting it's own websites prices by claiming that the item on the website is different from the one in the store, but in my case it was a false claim. I had purchased a Larson storm door in black which had to be special-ordered. The in-stock white doors were labeled as $279 in the store, but I was told that the colored ones were $319. I subsequently noticed that the website price was $279 for all colors. When I went to the store to claim the difference I was told that the item number for the black one online was different than the one I ordered from the store, I pointed out that the website showed that there were 10 of the white ones in stock in the store. If the white ones in the store were the same as the white ones on the website then it stood to reason that the black ones were also. When I confronted the store manager about this I got several conflicting explanations all in 10 minutes. I was told that the ones ordered from the store were "custom made"; I pointed out that with a 14 day delivery time for both the store items and the online ones, none of them were custom made--they were being shipped from a warehouse. I was also told that it was simply because one was "special ordered" and one was from the website. I asked if that didn't connote that both were special ordered making it odd that one would cost more than the other. I told the manager that if he wasn't going to match the price then he would need to provide me, in writing, a description of the difference between the online item and the one I had ordered in the store. At this point he gave up and gave me my refund.

Lowes in Arlington, Texas - Cabintes gone wrong

Long story short. We are trying to sell a second home. Contracted Lowes, paid 6K+. Nothing went right. Wrong cabinet on one wall, not level, part of them on the slab, the other end up on the tile. I had to level so i could put countertops back on. Can't install vent-a-hood, they drilled hole 4 inches off. It took literally 2 months of yelling to get someone in corporate to even start communicating. Promises of "so and so will be calling you by the end of the day". That has yet to happen. Customer service reps in store called my wife ***, so called store manager said "this is your problem" on numerous occasions. In the end, can't sell a house with missing cabinets, called names, but Lowes sure has no problem taking your money and making empty promises. The transaction started in December, took our money, and here we are, almost May, and still can't put the house on the market. I'll never buy a washer, screw, or set foot in Lowes ever again.

Never use the big box stores contractors. They pay so little, you usually get inexperienced and/or incompetent installers.

They don't keep appliances at store, don't know where they come from. Ordered a dishwasher and said it would arrive in 3-7 days. We are on day nine and they said there is a P.O. but that's all there is in the notice. So I'm assuming that they have to purchase the item from manufacturer and haven't yet so my money that they have is in their account drawing interest till they purchase it. I order a auto part a couple of months ago and got it 10 days later, it came from Japan. I could have ordered this from an online independent appliance dealer or off eBay and had it in a week. Never again will I buy anything from Lowes, they need to change their name to Slowes.

Lowe's does stock many appliances, but your must be on back order or special order.I usually cannot find anyone with enough competence to help in the appliance dept.

Suggest that you cancel your order.
