This letter is regarding uncalled for treatment received Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Lowes, 1000 West Arbrook, Arlington TX. Attempting to pick up shower doors (purchased Thursday November 16), customer service employee stated shower doors were picked up by me on day of purchase. Despite my repeated attempts of explanation that my shower doors were in a box with my name written on the box and it was placed in "back" by the sales person. Explanation was ignored by employee! The situation escalated with continual questions as to when, where and time of purchase, already noted on sales receipt. Asking why locating the box was taking so long I was informed employees were viewing video of day of purchase. One hour later, attempting to locate employee unsuccessfully, a "supervisor “appeared apologizing for misunderstanding, stating "I'm so sorry the box is in the back with your name written on it". I replied, "thank you for making me feel so guilty for something I didn't do" Excuse provided, employee ringing up sale had not noted package to be picked up later. As a 79-year-old lady, the situation was extremely stressful being questioned by a young employee who was doubting my integrity. I’ve made attempts to contact the store manager unsuccessfully. In the future I will not return to Lowes for material I need to update my home.

Nobody cares how old you are, dumb ***. It has nothing to do with employees being young. They were just doing their job so they don't get fired for letting *** walk out the door without verifying that it's been paid for.

Lowes in Arlington, Texas - Cabintes gone wrong

Long story short. We are trying to sell a second home. Contracted Lowes, paid 6K+. Nothing went right. Wrong cabinet on one wall, not level, part of them on the slab, the other end up on the tile. I had to level so i could put countertops back on. Can't install vent-a-hood, they drilled hole 4 inches off. It took literally 2 months of yelling to get someone in corporate to even start communicating. Promises of "so and so will be calling you by the end of the day". That has yet to happen. Customer service reps in store called my wife ***, so called store manager said "this is your problem" on numerous occasions. In the end, can't sell a house with missing cabinets, called names, but Lowes sure has no problem taking your money and making empty promises. The transaction started in December, took our money, and here we are, almost May, and still can't put the house on the market. I'll never buy a washer, screw, or set foot in Lowes ever again.

Never use the big box stores contractors. They pay so little, you usually get inexperienced and/or incompetent installers.

Lowes in Arlington, Texas - Lowe's scammed us out of almost $15,000 of bamboo flooring

My husband and I did an approximate $45,000 home remodeling project over the past 24 months. The final project was to replace carpet with very expensive Cali Flooring bamboo flooring from Lowe's. We were given a 12 month full "guarantee". Within 2 weeks, the flooring began buckling and planks coming up. It took almost 6 weeks of contacting Lowe's to get any response. They finally replaced the flooring. After the 2nd installation, within 8 weeks, the flooring started buckling and it took 12 weeks to get any action from Lowe's. We felt they were trying to ride out the 12 month guarantee. The fingers started pointing..... Lowe's hired an hard floor industry expert that determined the problem was from the installed nailing the baseboard to the planks so that the floor cannot float. Lowe's denied any further responsibility and pushed it to their installer, and eventually to their insurance carrier Nationwide. Nationwide has denied the claim; Lowe's has not taken any responsibility, and now we are out $15,000 of unusable flooring. My home looks horrible and the buckling is worse every day. DON'T USE LOWE'S! I just told my husband that if he ever walked into another Lowe's and spent one cent, he'd be out the door. Out of the $45,000 we spent on this remodel 80% was purchased through Lowe's and 20% at Home Depot. Our remodeler tried to warn us about Lowe's and the way they really treat their customers, but we didn't listen. SHAMEFUL company! I hope they all rot in *** for what they have done. We're two paramedics, and it took us a long time to save that money.

Lowe's is only responsible for the warranty ONE TIME! After that it is up to the manufacturer to either stand behind their product or not.

You shouldn't have gone to a DISCOUNT home improvement store to buy an item just because it was cheaper then it might have been somewhere else. Don't blame the player, blame the game.

Sounds like it was installed incorrectly. The installers come from Lowes so yes it is their responsibility.

I can't get ahold of anyone to install my carpet. They simply don't answer or return calls.

The worst experience EVER! We purchased an exterior door (primed pre-hung door). We were told to use a Duramax Exterior Semi-Gloss Tintable White Latex-Base Paint and Primer in One. When we installed the door the next day the paint was peeling off as if it was tape. We were originally told the door would be exchange, now the District Store Manager by the name of Jeremy doesn't even want to return my call. I will never shop at Lowes. Closing my account even if it hurts my credit score. I will not refer or recommend Lowe's to anyone! Not Happy at all! :|

did you read the instructions? did you lightly sand preprimed door to recieve the next coat of piant,Was the door painted in high humithy, What was the outside temp? really why would you expect a new door when you did not follow instructions on painting the door ?

Lowes in Arlington, Texas - Very rude, poor attitude, no responsibility

I purchased washer and dryer in store. The sale person said it would come on Wednesday. Then Wedesday came with no one imforming me that they won't be showing up. I made a phone call, and was told Thursday, so I took the day off. I've been waiting all day on Thursday, no one called, no one came. I called them, they said let them check then call me back. Well, that was a lie! My wife was upset and called them again. She was transferred through four people, all of them were very rude, no one said sorry. They acted like they had no idea. Finally my wife was connected to the store manager who was the worst. He raised his voice and spoked like he did her a favor, he rescheduled again on Friday but didnt know what time ! On Friday, they delivered the washer and dryer. But the washer came in in horribe conditions. No plastic covering the buttons, dusty and glass lid was scratched, stained on the button that couldnt be wiped off, its like a refurbished or displayed one. This is how you treat customers that spends over one grand on appliances? And on top of things disrespected customer.

We ordered bamboo flooring that was supposed to be in on 5/7/15. We were told on 5/9/15 that the order "was on the truck for delivery to the store". That wasn't true. Called on 5/10/15 asking if order arrived. Said it was on the truck that came in through the night. No. That wasn't true either. Husband went to store and they said it was actually on the UPS truck that would be in by 2 p.m. today. Again, not true. So we have a gutted bathroom that can't be completed and contractors on hold, no one that can tell us where our order is, and company coming Sunday with no usable guest bath. They were certainly quick to take our money. Totally and completely unacceptable.

Lowes - Counter Tops Review from Arlington, Texas

Anonymous mill.....just had lowes install counter tops..looks horrble.not a good layout have a huge glob of brown in center of my bar..many divits a crack on edge of bar and nickle size area on edge of bar they filled in with dark brown which isn't shinny like the rest of it and another chaulkie white area on edge of bar near wall...I don't think this is even the slab I picked .....it looks just like the first one I rejected picked out another one and they called and gave me a story my slab was cracked and they let the sister slab go and sold..of course I did not believe that...most likely a contracter wanted them...so made three trips to dallas to look at slabs now lowes will come look at my granite and I am sure the will have an excuse not to replace it....horrible service.....just wonder if these slabs are seconds?

My husband and I purchased a dishwasher from lowes two weeks ago in Arlington, Tx. The salesperson promised us we could have it installed December 15th. The installers called and never left a message on my husbands phone nor did they call me which I'm listed. After my husband missed the call due to him being at work I called back and never got a call back fr the installer. The store was rude and not willing to meet their promise I will never purchase another appliance from them. They really need to have customer service training for all associates because they all lack this even when we go into the store for help or have a question. Horrible organization!!!!

Lowes in Arlington, Texas - Lowe's Credit Card

I had a Lowe's Credit Card (GE Mony Bank). I made purchases over two years, amounting to $5000. I recieved a bonus check from my employer. I used this money to pay off my bill. GE Money Bank cashed the check and then REFUSED to apply this toward my balance. I made numerous attempts (in writing, phone calls..). I was receiving collection calls from GE Money Bank for a debt that I had already paid. I had to file a complaint with my State Attorney General's Office in order to made GE Money Bank do the right thing! Unbelievable !
