What do you expect them to repair it with if the parts are on backorder? That's the problem with so many things being made in China now...it takes time to get parts to fix things.

Your problem is with GE not Lowe's. Lowe's sells the product but GE takes care of the warranty. Had you bothered to read your paper work you could have likely gotten service much quicker

We bought a Kobalt mower from Lowe's. We started having problems with it about 3 months in, and it quit working about a year after we got it. Supposedly there is a 5 year warranty on the mower, yet Lowes refused to even issue us store credit, even though this is a Lowe's specific product. Lowes refused to even stand by their own brand and honor their own warranty.

Lowe's has by far the worst customer service. I've been dealing with their service advantage call center regarding a GE non-working washer that is still under manufacturer warranty and my issue has not been resolved. Every time I call, which I called more than 5 or 6 times, and I talk to a different service representative for more than 30 minutes each time, a different "possible" solution is offered/mentioned and nothing has come out of it. And the following time I call there's no record of what the last customer service rep told me. Meanwhile almost 3 weeks have passed and I am still stuck with an appliance that doesn't work. Last week I was at my breaking point and asked to the manufacturers number so I could call myself (I'm doing their job!) GE followed up less than 24 hours later and told me they had no record of lowes contacting them to fix my washer so I missed the chance to have it replaced because technically the claim was filed only one day before they called me, when in reality I've been dealing with lowes for 3 weeks. Their apathy towards solving the customer's issues is disgusting.

Lowe's has contracted repair companies that come out to repair appliances, which i am sure you have already figured out. So call them and find out why they cant fix it, not Lowe's. If you are so set on Lowe's doing something about it, call their Customer Care line and, trust me, the store will bend over to anything you ask.

I had the same issue with Olympic Elite. Spend $1500 in stain just to have it crack and split my brand new deck!

$10,000 worth of wood not to mention labor ruined.

They will refund my money on the stain, not the decking even though we were told that they would replace the entire deck when we purchased the stain. DO NOT EVER buy PPG products.

Lowes in Plano, Texas - Extended Warranty run around!

I bought my husband a $600 grill 2 years ago & did purchase the extended warranty! Well it's falling apart...called Lowes store #2884 who put me through to the extended warranty dept. They told me to call the company Char-Broil who makes the grill, get ALL of the part number/quantity info & call them back they in turn would send me parts to FIX IT MYSELF! So ok I got all of the requested information & called back. They were to send me parts in 7-10 business days. A week later I get an email stating they are just going to send me a gift card to buy a new one! COOL! Well I follow up on that email 2 weeks later when I still had not received the gift card only to be told they were sending a check instead because they didn't have the store number I purchased the grill from! Pfshhh! Ok! Well 2 more weeks still had not seen a check! Follow up AGAIN! To be told well we have to put a stop payment on that one & send you another! Which takes 21 more days before we can send you another. This has been going on since May 25th & is still not resolved!

Lowes in San Antonio, Texas - Worst experience ever!

Bought top of the line Samsung Washer from lowes with the extended warranty 12 months ago. Of course the manufacturer warranty is expired so have to deal with endless calls, *** appliance repair company not showing up, ordering endless parts, wasting my time and so far three work days.I am so frustrated at this point with lowes and the way they make you waste three days of unnecessary service calls before them deem something unrepairable. The service companies they contract with are the cheapest possible and here in the San Antonio area they have no idea what they are doing.Today is day three of waiting for an incompetent repair guy and wasting 1.5 hours on the phone yet again with Lowes.I will never purchase ANYTHING from lowes again-canceling my credit line as well.

Lowe's extended warranty protection program (the Lowe's Advantage) is only an advantage to Lowe's. They take your money and run.

You are the fool at the great disadvantage.

Never purchase an extended warranty from these crooks. Run the other way fast.

Do not buy an appliance from Lowes either.

WOW, You both are complaining about improper/inept service! Can't blame you for your complaints, BUT it's like complaining about the dealership that you bought your car from about the service that you received at the quick lube.

Valid complaint wrong people. Complain to the service provider, NOT THE PEOPLE THAT YOU BOUGHT YOUR EQUIPMENT FROM.

You are RIGHT ON with your complaint! My spouse and I bought a "top of the line" SAMSUNG dryer and have headaches with it from the get-go.

Lowe's so-called "Customer Service Advantage" department is a TOTAL joke with incompetent and rude SUPERVISORS. . . .to-boot!

They could care less about your complaint and do NOTHING to preserve a relationship with an OUTSTANDING customer. For now on it's SEARS or Home Depot that gets our "major appliance" purchases. At over 60yrs old, my spouse and I have had more HEADACHES with Lowe's than with any other company! Thanks.

. . .but NO thanks!

Lowes in Dallas, Texas - Warranty repair

on sept 8th the va hospital brought a lawn tractor to the store located on peachtree industral blvd in chamblee for repair. our shop was called on the 22nd and told the the lawn tractor was ready. upon going to the store on the 23rd we were informed by the manager that the item was still waiting on corp. to authorized the work to be done. we find this totally unacceptable. the lawn tractor is essential to the hospital being able to provide our veterans with peace of mind upon coming to receive service. I'm sure some of your employees are veterans and would be upset if they knew that lowes does not share their views that the men and women who have put their lives on the line does not take to maintaining of their hospital s equipment a priority.
