Lowes is more concerned with their own bottom line than about employees. They are repeatedly understaffed.

They do not train people properly. Just today my husband received and email of all these different weeks where employees are blacked out from taking time off. It used to be the only forbidden holiday was Black Friday. They've taken away weeks in march and April ("spring break Black Friday"), Memorial Day week, week of 4th of July, Labor Day week, thanksgiving week....

if your an employee of the company, you are a slave to the store- screw family time. Ba humbug.

It's not uncommon in retail for the company to expect their employees to be there during peak sales periods. Lowes isn't the only store that does this. Let's face it, retail hours are not the most family friendly to start with.
