Lowes keeps changing the rules on veteran discounts. This was explained to me in store (none too kindly) and also over phone (as nice as possible). So if anyone can buy on sale , why say you are giving veterans a 10% discount.? Just quit saying you are. You are only giving them false hope. If there was another appliance store within a 50 mile radius, I would never shop Lowes again.

The terms of the discount are pretty clear stating that they can't be used with any other offer, promotion, discount, markdown.... I other words the discount is available only on full price purchases.

You should be glad you are offered a discount at all. There are many other deserving professions that don't get a discount.

Went to Lowe's to get a Microwave. Appliance guys said it was 12 month interest deferred but he did not check me out. Had to go to the Customer Service, checked out there and asked for the terms the other guy told me. This guys said ok, put on my Lowe's cc but when checked with the CC company, it was not interest deferred. The fraudulent thing was they had the nerve to said it was 12 month interest deferred at the time of purchase and said it did not show on the receipt but it would on my account and turned around and denied it afterward... they really suck now. They would do whatever to get the sale and will not stand behind what they said. Avoid!!

Last March 2018 I purchased all my appliances and fixtures for my kitchen and master bathroom. on the day they were delivered to my home we were out of town and my son was at home, they put all the stuff in a storage area were they sat and untouched for 10 months until my contractors needed to install them in my newly remodeled kitchen that I spent over 50 thousand dollars on which I purchased everything from Lowe's. Well when the refrigerator was installed and unwrapped there is about six dents in the door, the dishwasher was installed and to find out the hinge on the door is broken. Well Lowe's said I bought them a year ago that they can't do anything to help me, except charge me almost half of what I payed for it to fix it. This is very poor customer service and I will never step another foot in a Lowe's store after being treated like this and spending so much money with this corporation.

If you had followed normal protocol with Delivery. The unit would of been unwrapped and inspected prior to delivery.

If you had asked to leave the product in its original manufacturers packaging. I can clearly see how this is Lowe's fault for following your request and not seeing damage that was clearly covered by the Vendor. Dont buy appliances and let them sit. Unless you purchase a 3-5 year extended protection plan.

the warranty is one year from point of purchase. be better next time.

Why on earth would you expect them to do anything else? The refrigerator has been in YOUR possession for 10 months.

To start with, you should have inspected it when it was delivered and refused it or noted damage at that time. It's not their fault you scheduled delivery when you were out of town.

As it sat in YOUR garage for 10 months who knows what may have hit or bumped the refrigerator and dented it. Sorry but I doubt you will find any business that would replace a damaged product that had been out of their possession for that amount of time.

Got them for toliet and installation, covievent for me being long distance from my mother. Worse experience ever with them. Told different things by different associates, had to wait forever to complete transaction. No more, good thing a home depot was not in the area or I would have cancelled and got them.

lowes installed my backsplash couple months ago after i complain terrible installation someone came to inspection and they find something wrong and inspector said need repair and i said can't repair needed full replacement after lowes customer service called me go to lowes pick different kind of tile and we will replace with the different installer when i was waiting phone call for replacement appointment they said we didn't called you about replacement after I forced the said ok. we called for replacement but we're going inspection one more time they send old women and inspector said nothing wrong everything is perfect i know they provide fake report they don't stand their word

My husband and I were at Lowe’s of wise, va about 7pm on Memorial Day. We wanted to purchase carpet from the rolls in the back. We pressed the help button several times. No response, we then searched for a sales person but none could be found. Finally we went to appliances where two men were doing something on the computer. They said they would find someone for us. We went back and waited but no one came. These two men saw us still standing there later but did nothing. I hope you have video so you can see this for yourself. After about 30 minutes we went home. On the way out we looked at the plants. No one had watered them. They were completely wilted. Several people were out there. We couldn’t believe all the people complaining. What has happened to our Lowe’s? I have built two big houses from this store and have never seen it like this.

You should have been home having a barbecue rather than going shopping and expecting retail employees to spend their Holiday working. Stores should close and allow their employees the chance to observe holidays as well.

Flooring Debacle | Lowes review from Richmond, Virginia

Lowe's installed 900 sqft of hardwood flooring only to have it almost immediately start squeaking and moving. After months of conversations (mostly ignored), Lowe's/Pro Services sent multiple reps to our house and each one had a different take on the problem (glad I have it all recorded). Regrettably, Lowe's has now determined that they are not at fault (installation) and are offering NO resolution - they have taken the position that it is an environmental issue which is contrary to their own assessments and two independent flooring contractors (both with over 40+ years of flooring experience). AVOID Lowe's/Pro Services for ANY installations, their Pro Services Division lacks integrity and honesty. I had their rep (Casey) on site the week of 11/26/18 and he told me face to face that they were going to offer compensation and agreed that I should have third party contractors review the problem....then he submitted his "finding report" as an environmental issue......Shameful. This issue is FAR from over.

On September 6, I purchased five fans online: Order #35827619 and Order #355826926. 2.I received confirmation that provided the order details (purchase date, time, etc.). 3.At approximately, 9:30pm, I went to Lowes of Alexandria (6750 Richmond Highway . Alexandria, VA 22306). I visited the fan department upon entering the store and a gentleman asked if I needed help. I shared that I had purchased five fans online and just wanted to see the display model. The extremely polite gentleman volunteered information about the fans and answered all questions. He told me that the fans would be at the Customer Service Desk (CSD). 4.I went to the CSD and told Tracey that I had purchased fans online, provided the confirmation numbers and wanted to pick them up. 5.Tracey told me a) the fans were not at the CSD, and b) I had not purchased the fans that’s why they were not at the CSD. 6.I asked her to explain how I could have confirmation numbers if I had not made the purchases. 7.Tracey turned around, walked away, took a seat, and started doing something. She said I can still hear you. I refused to talk. When she turned back around I repeated #6. Tracey told again a) that I had not made a purchase and b) I had to go get the fans bring them to the CSD and buy them. 8.I told her that the fans were already purchased and they were supposed to be here at the CSD according to previous online experiences. I also shared that the gentleman in the fan department agreed with me. 9.Tracey told again a) that I had not made a purchase and b) I had to go get the fans bring them to the CSD and buy them. 10.I asked her what I was supposed to put them in or on. 11.Tracey told me to walk back to the fan department and someone would figure it out. 12.I went to the fan department and the gentleman placed the fans in a shopping cart per my request. I told him my challenge about convincing Tracey I had purchased the fans. He escorted me to the CSD and witnessed Tracey telling me I had not purchased the fans. 13.I asked Tracey (and he witnessed) to allow me to tell her my truth and ask clear concise questions because I did not want to get charged twice. I spoke three sentences and Tracey cut me off. I stopped talking and when she finished I started sharing again. Tracey again cut me off a second time. I told her that I am not used to people cutting me off mid-sentence for it is not effective communication. Tracey yet again cut me off and I pointed out she was doing it yet again! I told her because she will not allow me to share my truth and then ask my question: I had no idea what she could possibly be answering. 14.I attempted to share again but Tracey immediately cut me off. I requested the store manager on duty. 15.I shared with the store manager all of the above. He apologized for Tracey’s behavior and he too could not figure out why she did not believe I had purchased the fans. I shared with him that I am paying customer and I believe I have the right to ask questions – especially given the fact that a) I had used my credit card to complete the transaction online, b) received information from Lowes that the purchases had been made, c) a Lowes’ employee is telling me repeatedly that I had not made the purchase, and d) I needed to bring the fans to CSD and buy them. 16.I then encouraged the store manager to play the store recorded tape to see Tracey turning her back to me, taking a seat to do work that had nothing to do with my transaction – while she was supposed to me helping me. 17.I shared with the store manager my truth: it is always polite for a person to finish talking before one cuts them off which Tracey did several times. I shared that if Tracey could not answer my questions certainly she could have requested the help of her collogues to explain the answers – just like I did. 18.My experience with Tracey was rude and lacked all professional decorum.

I'm guessing English is not your first language. I can't say whether Tracy is right or wrong in this but there is always two sides to every story. Perhaps she couldn't understand what you wanted or perhaps she really is a *** Without the other side of the story, we'll never know for sure.
