lowes installed my backsplash couple months ago after i complain terrible installation someone came to inspection and they find something wrong and inspector said need repair and i said can't repair needed full replacement after lowes customer service called me go to lowes pick different kind of tile and we will replace with the different installer when i was waiting phone call for replacement appointment they said we didn't called you about replacement after I forced the said ok. we called for replacement but we're going inspection one more time they send old women and inspector said nothing wrong everything is perfect i know they provide fake report they don't stand their word

Lowes Gate Installation Unsatisfactory
November 2014 we moved into our new home in Norfolk VA and quickly had Lowes install fencing and a gate to enclose our back yard (also a new interior floor). On a rainy day Loews contractors installed 6x6 posts to anchor a gate between our home and detached garage. That was the problem. On a rainy day the contractors did not wait for the concrete to "set" so the 6x6 next to our brick home started to tilt making the gate inoperable. For five or six subsequent visits by the contractors they did superficial repairs so the gate would close, but because they did not reinstall the slanting 6x6 these "repairs" were only temporary. Now, on October 1 after much patience and disappointment on our part, Lowes tells us the gate installation is out of warranty. Yes, Lowes is apparently not concerned about delivering quality products and services or making good on warranties when they are responsible for delays outside the warranty time period. This is really happening...

Norfolk, VA Lowe's Has No Employees it seems | Lowes review
I'm a contractor who's company uses Lowe's as their primary source of purchasing. The Lowes 1065 in Norfolk, VA is the closest and is where we do most of the business. For the past several months, I've noticed that the store almost seems to be run with no one there. This is especially true when it come to being checked out at the registers. On at least 80% of my trips to the location, there is either only one cash register open along with self checkout. And most times the line is ridiculously long at both. Same thing at the customer service desk, one associate working both sides of a desk which at most times i'm in there has 8 or so people in line between both sides. Yet there is six registers that can check out at, and five registers at the customer service desk. I've spoken to several managers at the store; Liz, Brett, Adam, who have stated that it's just a temporary issue because someone called out. But this is an every day occurrence it seems. I've had Adam state, on a recent visit of 03/02/16, that they've hired a bunch of new people that the issue won't happen again. Well guess what, was in there on 03/21/16 and walked into the exact same situation at 3pm. Only self checkout opened and a line going down the aisle. Where are all these "NEW PEOPLE" that were hired?

Lowes Norfolk VA . Purchased a range they tried to charge for a 2 yr. warranty. 1st - I told the sales clerk I did not want the extended warranty and he said it was removed. However, when I went to the register to pay it was still on the invoice. I had the cashier remove the warranty charge. They also charged a $79 fee for delivery that was advertised as FREE on a sign directly above the appliance I purchased. I did not see the charge at checkout. When I got home and checked the receipt, I saw the charge. I called and they said they would refund the delivery amount so I drove 20 miles to the store and when I got there they would not refund the delivery because I had paid with a check. They wanted to give me a merchandise credit. I do not want the credit because I will not spend another dime at any Lowes. I want the money back that they ripped off for a delivery that was advertised as FREE and incorrectly charged. The mistake was Lowe's not mine. Their system is either totally screwed up or they are desperate to screw the customer and hope you don't notice. I should have gone with HOME DEPOT! I have had much better results and customer service with HOME DEPOT.

I was accadently overcharged and the cashier tried to call for a manager to ok the credit on my card but the manager was too busy on a personal phone call to respond. I had to walk half way of the store to get her to come to the register for the credit. She came, still tallking on the phone, to verify my credit, never saying one word to me. I ordered fence three weeks or more ago,no fence or reason why it has not shown up but its on my bill.I called the store a week ago and was told it would be delivered on 08 16 10 well I'm still looking. They have my cell and home both have answering service,and there is no log of them calling.I have a birthday party in my yard and with everything else going wrong this was not to be one of my worries well i guess i was wrong.I now wish i had shopped with home depot but it is now to late poor me. THANK!
Lowes Hampton and Newport News store Sucks!!!
Bought items from the Newport News store and an employee said that they checked on the item to see if it was broken (Johnathan Everman)and so we bought the items went in on 11/14/09 to pick up the items and both of the 2 that the Newport News store had were broken, so the customer service called over to the only other store (the Hampton store) that had the vanity item#16691 to make sure that the one that they had was not broken and Bubu from the Hampton store said that he checked on the item and it was not broken. So we went over to that store to buy the item and bring it home. We got it home and opened it up and it is broken and the manufacture did not finish putting the items together. The drawers were not put together like they should have been. I then called to speak with the MOD from the Hampton store and spoke with Sherita @ 7:41pm on 11/14/09. She was a little rude but said that she would order another one but it would be 7-10 days before she could get it in the store but then they could not deliver it to me for free in exchange for the broken one. The is a bit of a pain in the butt since I have been trying to get these since 11/7/09 and this is the 3rd one that we have tried and no other store has any. It should be rushed ordered and delivered free to my house with a discount for my troubles. Then I called over to speak with the MOD from the Newport News store and spoke with Scott @7:52pm on 11/14/09 and he said that he could not order it until Tuesday and from that day it would be 7-10 days for the store to get it and that he could not rush order it, nor could he deliver it to my house for free or with any kind of discount for my troubles, nor could he sell us the display at a discounted price. This item is $476.10 and I have tried 3 different items and spoke with Johnathan Everman from the Newport News store who was also suppose to order a bathtub for us. But when I called 2 days later to double check if the item was in yet or not, I was told that the item was never ordered. That item #286051 which is $447.30, we bought it from the Hampton store on 11-11-09. This was done with Free delivery, thanks to Patty a Sales Manager at the Newport News store who arranged this to be done due to my troubles and it was delivered 11-13-09 and it is in ok shape but a soft pipe is kinked and can not be installed because of this. It will reduce water flow. I spent $2,037.61 from Lowes from both the Hampton store and the Newport News store and this is getting really old. I think that I should get a new bathtub delivered and double vanity delivered undamaged to my house for free and that I should get some kind of discount, because of the trouble. The bathtub may or may not leak due to the kink will not know for a fact until it is installed. The vanity is broke at the bottom right side where its cracked and the backing is not attached and the medal bars that the drawers are on, on the left hand side are bent and not attached. I would like someone to call me ASAP with a replacement with free delivery and or some kind of discount for the broken items.

Lowes sales adds are misleading
We have a new Lowes store in Franklin Va and I went there on Saturday night to purchase a beverage/wine refrigerator. The add said, on sale for $99.99, reg $149.99. The add also said silver or white was avaliable & but it does not say for an additional costs. The regular costs on this item is the same no matter what color , so How is the sales price different? The manager on duty was Rude so I will travel 20 miles further for better service at the Suffolk Virginia location and you need to stray away from from false advertising or someone needs to Sue you.
Lowes Carpet Scam
Advertisement said $98 whole house install. After we paid $32 for them to come out to do a square footage estimate, thew insisted that we buy there pad. We already had new pad (less then 1 year old. Steps cost extra, plus carpet removal (which we had already removed). total for labor only would be $1900 dollars. We got them to remove the charge for carpet removal however they still want to charge $1300 for a $98 whole house install. The carpet person at this Fredricksburg VA store eventually hung up on me after I told him I don't care how his numbers add up that was his problem in my math $98 never =1300+ dollars.
