The people doing the actually installation of your carpet may have no idea that your installation had been delayed. They just go out to the jobs the scheduler has them set up for when they show up to work in the morning. Many of the installers aren't fluent in English and wouldn't feel comfortable striking up a conversation with you.

It’s a better system now. We used to have to show our military ID every time we checked out, then we had to wait a few minutes for a manager to come and approve it.

Now, It is tied to my mylowes card. The cashier scans my card and it automatically gives me the discount.

I can now also get the discount when I buy something online and use the self checkout. Go to the customer service desk and they will help you register, it only takes 5-10 minutes.

It seems half the time I go into Lowe's to look for something they're out of it. No one knows when it will be in or if it will even be in. Other stores in the valley Coeur d'Alene seem to have these things that the north side doesn't. I won't be going there anymore

I expect Lowes is no different than the home center i worked for. Employees were not allowed to assist in securing or tying down loads.

It's a liability. If the load came loose, the straps broke or materials somehow flew off your vehicle and damaged another, the store could be sued.

We could help load your merchandise but securing it was your responsibility. That's part of living in a world where everyone is looking to make a buck by suing someone with deep pockets.

It would be nice to have the lamps replaced but having the carpet installation problems fixed would be nice. Having the company actually care in the first place would have been preferable.
