Lowes - Worst installation service ever
We went to Lowe’s on July 3, 2018 to begin the process of having blinds installed in our new home. Since then the process has been a nightmare.
There is absolutely NO communication between the installer and Lowe’s. After the installer measured, he said Lowe’s would have our measurements within an hour, but when we went the next day we were turned away beacause Lowe’s hadn’t received them. When we finally picked our blinds it took TWO HOURS in the store to have them ordered and sign a contract. Our blinds arrived in the mail two weeks later, yet it took another week to hear from installer, and a week after that to have them come out.
When they finally arrived, half the blinds were the wrong size! It was *** to have them reordered (another month long process) and when the installer came out again there were pieces missing and one of the blinds was still too long!! We couldn’t believe the incompetence, inconvenience and lack of response from Lowe’s. We made multiple calls to the store manager and even corporate office with official complaints with promises to receive calls back, which never came.
It is now mid-October ( a whole month after contract expired) and we still don’t gave all the blinds we paid for. We have not even received any kind of call with an apology or so much as a coupon for reimbursement. I paid Lowe’s in full in July and haven’t even been offered a discount!!!
We urge anyone reading this to avoid Lowe’s installation services at all costs!! We definitely will never be using them again!!

I ordered blinds in March for Bow window and slider door. It took 3 weeks the installer to come and measure the blinds.
Then blinds were delivered after 3 weeks. Then made appointment with installer and got appointment after 3 weeks. When installer came he just ripped off my old blinds without even checking the boxes to see if all the parts were there. Oh well front Bow window had missing parts.
And had wrong length of slider door. HE WAS VERY RUDE He still installed the slider blinds . they were touching the floor. When I told him that measurement is wrong.
He got pissed and this is how it is. Called Lows to complain and representative did not care much. So I was left with bare front window to cover every night with bed sheet. So when these parts came different guy came after a month to install front window blinds.
Same time he took measurements for slider blinds. Here we go again, Two weeks to blinds you come and another month for installer to come. Finally owner of the installation company came and installed blinds of slider door. After two days blinds stop working.
Two end blinds are loose and can not closed.After a month different guy came to see the problem He was very rude. Started arguing. Know Lowes called and stated they ordered new head railing. It is 6 months and blinds are not done yet Several calls Were made to installer and Lowes.
Took off from work every time they have to come several hours of phone call. I suggest not to use Lowes
Whatever happened with this. Lowes actually lost our blinds.
